Hi Alain, I just startede soft pastel few month ago, and join your landscape week coming up the 9. sept, I really want to learn the impressionistic and loose technic. I love to paint portraits in watercolor and am trying to draw portraits in soft pastel, so my 2 questions: is it possible to draw portraits with the same technic as you do with the landscapes? and will you hold another portrait week? yes it's possible to create loose portraits, just a bit more emphasis on drawing there so i tend to use hard pastels more often in the process for portraits. Another Portrait Week? I hope so someday!
