The search algorithm has been weird lately. As a truck driver who is interested in astronomy and astrophysics, I was searching for topics concerning light photons that exit the surface of the sun and the possibility of it being what heats the corona, and here I am learning about something completely different that I hadn't learned about before, and now I have all kinds of questions about this condition (Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome). That said, good vibes and energy to you, and I hope you have many dignified years ahead of you. I should never have been a truck driver, but math and science was my worst subjects, and I mostly slept through those classes, so... 😴🛌🤣

That sucks, im sorry you're having to go through that, but I don't think you should feel embarrassed, it's not like you had any choice in the matter and if someone treats you poorly because of this, "good", its a quick way to learn they are not worth having in your life.

One of my former coworkers had this condition. It affected her life so much emotionally. She had to go on medication to deal with the mental health issues she suffered from dealing with her condition.
@@emilygreen4686 My former coworker and I worked together back in the 1990s before the internet, social media and RUclips took off. Just because you can't bring a new person to life into this world doesn't mean you can't give new life to a person who is already living. The beauty of a woman is so much more than what she is able to do, it's also about how good she can make someone feel inside just with her presence alone.
I can relate to the above. I grew up in a society where MRKH is virtually unknown and a woman is expected to be a breeding machine. My inability to have menses was attributed to witchcraft and this meant going from one witch doctor to another. I was psychologically affected and lost all the confidence as a woman. I was shattered to learn at a very young age that l had an undeveloped female reproductive system and would not be able to bear any children. I had no support even from my parents and my life’s experiences made me to be the strong woman l am today. I’m 49 years , got married, divorced and only learned about 3 years ago that l was just one in 5000 woman when l moved to the USA. For the first time in my life, l felt like a real person as there is no discrimination for the barren woman and there are support groups for women with my condition

Bravely sharing your story could affect so many women's lives that are afraid to speak. You are a strong and influential beautiful woman.
The world being "overpopulated" is actually a myth and a lie. If you feel that your area is overpopulated, it's because you live in a city, and probably a huge metro city where people are packed in like sardines. Plenty of rural land in the world, and the world can hold billions of more people comfortably.
@Chex Meh this was 5 months before the war. While it does take courage for some to come forward with these matters, it doesn't mean you have to compare them to others. Yes the people fighting in Ukraine are very courageous and strong, and so is this woman in her own way

She has opened me up to a whole world of taking people as they are and showing me that my insecurities shouldn't hamper my opinions of others.
Modern women in the west actually have it easier than men, which is why young men in particular are checking out at a massively alarming rate: -Affirmative action -no fault divorce were they can clean out a man (women initiate close to 80% of all divorces) -not held to any real standards like their grandmothers were (sleeping around, tattoos, bringing b@stard children into the world, etc.) -giant government programs, many of whom women use extensively. Allows women to toss men in the trash and not cooperate -men die far more in war, more violence happens to men, men live shorter lives, most hard manual labor jobs are performed by men, most dangerous jobs are performed by men, men have massively higher instances of homelessness I could go on and on and on, but a good saying is, modern women want the authority of a man with the accountability of a child.

You are a beautiful lady. Everybody is different, no one is the same (not even twins, or more multiple births). You are beautiful, as you are (inside, and out). Although, I understand how hard it can be to open up (about being different), and have others be cruel, and judge you..... I am a lesbian, myself, and it took me years, and years to be able to open-up to others (to my friends, and family), which I kept to myself for 17 yrs. It ALWAYS takes courage being yourself (straight, LBGTQ, or being born a different way). I love the song that Kelly Clarkson sings, called: "You Can't Win!" To me, that song says it all...... Who can win, or who can lose - no one is perfect. PEOPLE SHOULD LISTEN TO THAT SONG ("You Can't Win!", by Kelly Clarkson), IF THEY HAVE NOT, YET!! Everyone is someone - special, and youneak!! Feel beautiful the way YOU ARE, who else WILL?!?!? ❤😊❤😊❤😊
Thanks for your lovely comment 😊 I’m proud of you for being your authentic self, and agree that it’s sometimes hard to be courageous and yourself ❤ I love the song “This is me” from the greatest showman and find it super emotional and resonates with me - give it a listen and see what you think x
@@emilygreen4686 I just watched that video of "This Is Me!" from The Great Showman. I do not think, I have heard it, but some of the words / sayings in it seemed familiar to me, so, maybe part of it I knew, but that video of it was powerful. I enjoyed it, very much!! I did tear up, some, watching it, too. Thanks for telling me about it. The video of it, really put the motion into the song of it. Have you heard that song, "You Can't Win", from Kelly Clarkson (I love that song, too). ** FYI - True story: I use to work in Day Care (with Infants), and about 22 yrs. ago, there was a boy, who I knew that was in the Infant room (around a year old - take, and, also give a few months), and he did not have a BM hole (when he was born), so he had to wear a sack at the side of his hip (lower stomach area), and the bag would hold his BM (when he went #2). When changing his wet diaper - the sack had to be squeeze out by hand onto the old diaper he was wearing to empty out the sack. During, the day, the bag had to be changed to a new one, about once a day, or so, or if it happened to come lose from sticking to his skin, plus cleaning the skin area, and (I think) needing some kind of cream / ointment around the area, before sticking a new bag on. NO one in the Infant room (the other teachers, I worked with) did NOT want to change the baggie part (they changing his wet diaper, and emptied the BM baggie, only), but I stood up, and told them I could, so his mom showed me how to take off, and put on a new BM bag. It was NOT really that hard to do. Back then, I did lots of baby-sitting jobs with the families from the Center, too, and I would baby-sit him, also. It felt like a great experience to learn a different technique for someone who was born DIFFERENT. ** NOTE: When the boy got a bit older (like 2, or 3 yrs. old), he did have surgery, so he could have a proper way of going BM, and not wear a BM sack, his whole life. So, your story, reminded me about that experience, I had, once..... Ways to be helpful to others in need!!

And thank you for your kind words, dear Emily. I am pushing 70 and I have Slavic ancestry. Allow me to relate a story to you that I was told decades ago....In Russia, a person who had some type of infirmity, crippled or in a wheelchair, a poor, homeless beggar who couldn't work because they were paralyzed, or blind, etc.were called "The Blessed”, and people would go up to these people with cupped hands and ask for their blessing because through them and their infirmity God's work is being done, allowing the compassion and kindness of others to be shown....We don't know what God's plan is for any of us, and something that can seem like a bad thing can, in fact, be a wonderful blessing, so we should thank God for all things, even if we don't understand His Will for us. I'm sure that Got is very pleased with you for accepting His Will and having the courage and openness to be you. Maybe you have seen the man who was born without limbs and his phenomenal strength and courage preaching online. You see, Emily, you and he are the type of people who can change the world by showing others the faith you have in God's Will. God bless you, dear one. I will remember you in my prayers. 🙏♥️🌹

I have this condition too, and it’s comforting to find a video of someone else with the same thing. Dilator therapy has been something i’ve struggled to really keep up with because you have to start from pretty much nothing and go through the pain of effectively making one yourself. I used to have these plans to have children and a partner and getting the diagnosis at 15 made me re-evaluate what the future would look like (although there are other ways and adoption would always be an option too). Seeing videos like this makes me feel more ‘normal’ and this girl seems lovely🤍
Maddie you are so incredibly strong and brave, you’ve got this sis! I completely understand the struggles with dilation - just try to relax, keep at it and focus on the end goal - but also remember that there’s no pressure and to do it in your own time. I know it’s super tough that we have had to change our life plans and that things won’t go the way we originally hoped, but there are still options for us. Uterus transplants have come a long way in the past few years, and science&technology are moving so so quickly, so who knows what options there will be in 5 years - it’s exciting! My friends would say to me all the time "you're so lucky you don't get a period" and in a way it would make me feel less of a woman. The big thing that really got me is that I will never be able to experience pregnancy, that feeling of bringing life into the world. It's videos like this and stories like this that reminds me that I'm not alone, that there are other women out there like me.
I completely relate with the period thing!! The pregnancy part is such a struggle rn as well - seeing people getting pregnant all over and surprising their families, it’s heartbreaking knowing we may never have that: You’re not alone ❤ you are brave and you are amazing x
There's no reason to feel less of a woman. There is such a vast difference between male and female that the two genders are Ike two totally different species. There are more differences between men and women than between tigers, pumas, leopards and cougars. There is basically nothing that's exactly the same between the two genders, so the list of differences is VERY long. Although it's the most important part for reproduction it's nevertheless only one part missing for identifying as a woman. You can still be proud of your femininity. After all my experiences in life I actually would have preferred a female friend with this condition for various reasons, but I've decided to just go on alone anyway. Enjoy the full you as you are.

She has opened me up to a whole world of taking people as they are and showing me that my insecurities shouldn't hamper my opinions of others.
We all have our trials. Best not to compare.
Modern women in the west actually have it easier than men, which is why young men in particular are checking out at a massively alarming rate:
-Affirmative action
-no fault divorce were they can clean out a man (women initiate close to 80% of all divorces)
-not held to any real standards like their grandmothers were (sleeping around, tattoos, bringing b@stard children into the world, etc.)
-giant government programs, many of whom women use extensively. Allows women to toss men in the trash and not cooperate
-men die far more in war, more violence happens to men, men live shorter lives, most hard manual labor jobs are performed by men, most dangerous jobs are performed by men, men have massively higher instances of homelessness
I could go on and on and on, but a good saying is, modern women want the authority of a man with the accountability of a child.

@@emilygreen4686
I just watched that video of "This Is Me!" from The Great Showman.

Today (Sat., June 15), I was so excited, because I saw that on TV, the movie, "The Greatest Showman" was going to be on, this evening from 7PM to 10:15PM. My mouth dropped open, and I was speechless, I was so excited it was going to be on, so I could watch the whole movie, since I had NOT seen it before. The movie has been giving me goose bumps - it is so good!! I am so glad a few months ago, or so, that you told me about that movie, and that one song that is in it, "This Is Me!" So powerful, so good!!

Bumped into this video. Thank you so much for being you! I can't properly express my gratitude. In these crazy times when people are desperately trying to be someone other than who they are, you come along and have the outstanding courage to be yourself...who you are. And not only take hold of your situation, but educate others about it. God grant you a long, healthy, happy, prosperous life. You are an inspiration!🌹
This is the most generous compliment I think I have ever received - thank you so much for your lovely words. Sometimes it’s hard for people to unapologetically be themself, and your recognition to this is really appreciated. Love and blessings to you 💜
And thank you for your kind words, dear Emily. 🙏♥️🌹

@@Birdy_E.S Yeah you should respect his opinion... He made a statement as anybody does... The problem is many believers don't tolerate who says different... Don't agreeing isn't being disrespectful, as it's simply denying... Attacking someone for his opinion is what's really disrespectful...
@@hernanedias554 First of all, I'm not attacking, I don't believe in God so when someone says something to me about God I don't say oh sorry I don't believe in that, and then start an argument over it, I just simply say thank you and move on, because if I want people to except my option that god doesn't exist than I gotta except theirs that god does exist. And when they're saying it to somebody else or adding their god beliefs I'm the comments I just don't come to them and say I don't believe in God, because it wasn't spoken Straight to me. Nobody is telling nobody that if they don't agree it's disrespectful and nobody here is attacking nobody. How can you sit there and want people to give and respect you when you can't respect them?... You can't earn respect if you can't give respect.
What an intensely courageous woman to put this out into the world. I hope she’s happy and met someone good
I have been an OB/GYN nurse for 4 years and have never, personally met someone with this diagnosis. I am very impressed with this young lady’s maturity and fortitude and openness. Ty for sharing, I know it had to have been difficult to have done so
This is one reason I want to bring awareness! As well as educating the general public, women with MRKH have a lot of struggles within the medical community too
As an obgyn could someone donate a womb to her as she has fallopian tubes? Then she could have the chance of becoming pregnant and carrying her own children? With the advances in medicine just wondering if this would be an option? I know she's young and isn't thinking of children yet but the day will come when she will want to explore that option. I've had 4 children (and one miscarriage 😥) id happily donate my womb as its no longer needed and just... well... there 🤷🏼♀️

Adoption is a beautiful option, and definitely not one to dismiss - after all, loving any child is what motherhood is about.

I also have MRKH and I'm the only one in my family diagnosed with it. I felt just like she did when she said that the condition didn't make her feel like a woman.
