    That metal protecter peice that sits above the turbo is not just 3 bolts people.... theres also bolt under it that holding it down and there a bitch to get to. Especially the allen screw. I said id never work on an vw again yet here i am. Vw suck to work on.

    Great video J, thanks for posting it.
    I was frikkin stumped on this one. Might still be but at least I know what I need to do now. Hard to tell when you can't see anything.

    hey great video ! i’m working on this job right now. but i’m having a tuff time removing the plate above the turbo/ manifold. if you have any tips i would appreciate it !

      Yeah that one it's some pain. Just spray some PB Blaster and let it sit, also in tight spaces I always use a 1/4 inch ratchet. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    great video thanks, how hard was it to put that screw back in from that position did you start by hand from the top

      Yes I started the bolt by hand, it was a little uncomfortable but I'm used to this kind of work so it wasn't to bad. You can get It from the top or bottom just depends on the size of your hand.
