- Stronghold Crusader 2 will come out in Q4 2013 and I need to be prepared for it,because of that I started to warm myself up and began to play Stronghold Crusader HD,wish me luck and don't forget to like and favorite this video.
Stronghold: Crusader is the successor to Firefly Studios's 2001 game Stronghold. Crusader has much in common with the original Stronghold, but differs from its predecessor in the fact that the game is no longer set in a pseudo-Europe, instead being set in the Middle East during the Crusades. The game features a multitude of new Arabian units that can be purchased in a new building, the mercenary post. Though the Arabian troops do not require any resources to produce, they are rather expensive. The game was also released as Stronghold Warchest. This version was a compendium of Stronghold and an enhanced version of Stronghold: Crusader, containing additional characters and an additional Crusader Trail.
Stronghold Crusader features several real-time strategy campaign strings. These document the First, Second and Third Crusade, as well as conflicts within the individual Crusader states. Each campaign comprises several battles, such as Nicaea, Heraclea, siege of Antioch, Krak des Chevaliers and the Siege of Jerusalem. The game also features the Crusader Trail, a series of 50 linked missions against various opponents. Stronghold Warchest adds one more Crusader Trail, consisting of 30 linked missions.

VERY effective! If the enemy attacks you with 1000 horse archers and you have 100 Archers defended by shields,then myfriend,you will win. :)
I completed all missions without using any shield in any mission. Last few missions were damn hard and long (3 hours) but it felt really great.
I usually use 6-8 shields no matter how many archers I place on the tower,but with 15-20 shields the will be immortals.
We've been on this map and in the same position multiple times. Easy peasy. Took my time building an economy. Then went clockwise, taking out the Snakes first. Weak sauce enemies.
this and next mission is actually pretty easy
Could anyone please explain me how to scroll between two, tre, four different type of tropes, like he does...?? 🙂
select a group of units then press Ctrl + a number e.g. 1, when you want to select them in the future just press 1 - 9 etc

If you don't have a lot of green space for food, just do this:
Place one wheat farm, click on it, press P to pause the game, click zzz twice, wait for the farmer to reappear, and do it as many times as you want. If you do it 5 times, 5 farmers will work on the same farm, making the wheat production 5 times faster and saving you 5 times of space.

Works with a lot of other buildings as well, as it turns out. In addition to the wheat farm it also works on hops. Not as effective on dairy or apples. It does work on Iron Mines and Wood cutters, not on quarry's. Works on bakeries as well.
Of course, wood cutters will run out of trees, so use it sparingly there and obviously bakeries can only cook bread as long as you have flour, so there's that.
