I guess River Song fits the bill for that, but she'd be considered a special case (as usual! 😁).

The thing is though that for some reason the doctor seems to pick up their companions chronologically to whatever time it is in real life. So by the time we’re seeing this companions adventures it would be a few years in the past that the doctor picked them up from. It just seems a little confusing having the companion be from like 3 years in the past because it’s just enough for you to forget that it’s not the present only to be confused when past references come up.

It was such a sweet ending, for companions and the Thirteenth Doctor.
Also do love how literally all the companions can relate to encountering the Daleks.

I like to think that Mel told ppl at the support group about Fourteen & several of them came to visit him.
Though he's not allowed at the group proper in case ppl need to vent without him present, or if someone he meets in his personal future shows up.
(Also, Martha was just busy that day but showed up later, cause I need her to know about Donna having her memories back.)

this whole scene was goddamn amazing, all the companions, Ian damn Chesterton and his wonderful line, Jo Jones and Ian Chesterton in the same scene...and then came the one line that just sent me bawling: 1:40. just had to cut out Jodies glorious smile though

What a brilliant idea and a touching scene, and intermixing it with shots of the Doctor on the way to her regeneration is likewise inspired. And how wonderful to see Ian Chesterton again. Thank you, Mr. Chibnall.

Given how the first doctor pretty much kidnapped his first companions, I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner.

I know they couldn't do this, but I would love a short or an episode where they share stories about each doctor. Then they splice in clips from the episode it came from.
I especially would love to hear Ian talk about how he was the first companion(next to Susan and Barbara). I know William Russell couldn't do it because of his age (bless him for this brief cameo) but I'd still love to have him talk about the First Doctor

Kinda wish Frazer Hines was back too. Know his character Jamie is from the past and his memory was wiped by the time lords. But hes so iconic. Met him on a comic con cruise. He signed my copy of tomb of the Cybermen. We ended up chatted for hours. Such a lovely guy.

This is such a fantastic scene! I'd love to see an entire documentary where they talk to all of these actors about their experience getting together. They span the entire history of the show, and a number of them must have watched many of the others, when they were still children, never imagining that one day they'd meet like this.
