At a recent convention, Sophie Aldred told a story of filming the support group scene. William Russell was having some problems with his line, at one point he spilled his tea and could not stop apologizing for it. John Bishop, who has an older relative who also suffers from dementia, sat on the floor behind William and fed him his line. However, this was also a bit challenging because William started imitating John's Liverpool accent.

The fact that she thought the Doctor was purposely or thoughtlessly triggering her really explains why she was so mad at them the whole time. I'm glad they were able to make peace. Yup. 8 never really had a companion as the Grace character and the other guy (I forgot his name) never really travelled with him and of course is the only 'incumbent' not to have a series. He literally screams 'the forgotten doctor' and was RTD's original intention for the War Doctor which would've been better than sticking an incarnation between 8 and 9 making things messy. Now we have 2 incarnations with less than an hour of screen time. Obviously this would be messed up further more with the Timeless Children as well. At the end of Dragonfire it was said that Glitz was heading to Earth as he offered to drop Ace off. Only a matter of time, and Mel (at least in the audios not as much in the TV show) was always resourceful; shes make it back in time. As a teenager I watches random bits of Tom Baker's incarnation. I didn't know anything about the history or regeneration, and because I could only catch it on reruns on the local PBS station, never caught it in order or saw the longer arch of everything, but I did enjoy it. I only found out about the 2005 reboot several years after it came out, but I started watching it (I think on Netflix) and I have since watched EVERY single one (some multiple times) - I've even gone and bought all the DVD sets. I got the Eccelston/Tennant, Smith, and Capaldi all at once, and then Whittaker once it was available. The whole thing is such an epic saga of a story (multiple sagas inf act) I know some people take issue with parts by a particular producer or director, or don't like some of the writing, or some of the topics. But its ALL Dr Who, and it always will be. I will watch it until the end (either of me, or of the show, whichever comes first)

Ranked from Least Awesome to Most Awesome (Although they are all Awesome!)-
Jo Martin (Yeah, okay, see you around when some other writer can think of something to actually do with this character)
Kate Stewart (Always nice seeing her, but she only just appeared last year and will apparently appear again next year, so it's not so much of a "grand return" really; Still fun though!)
Grahem (Only saw him a season ago)
Peter Davison (Saw him in Time-Crash but so glad he was here too!)
Collin Baker (Thank god his last on-screen appearance in Doctor Who won't go down as a debate between him saying: "Carrot Juice" and Dimensions in Time)
Paul McGann (Always great seeing this guy- Just patiently waiting for his on-screen spin-off any day now... )
David Bradley (Glad to see this guy is now officially the First Doctor, and no longer being horrifically mis-portrayed as a raging misogynist either)
Jo (Glad to see her again, although she's been through a lot with The Death of the Doctor and everything she's done at Big Finish, so hopefully this companion support groups can help her out; Still, since she has technically already made a return on The Sarah Jane Adventures, I would have swapped her out for Polly; Although who knows, maybe in another universe I'm saying the exact opposite lol)
Sylvester McCoy (Every day, I think about how amazing it is that the New Series has actually acknowledged the Seventh Doctor- I swear, up until this point, I was wondering if the show was just pretending like his era didn't even happen)
Mel (Don't know how this character is on Earth right now, but I guess her timeline didn't even make sense to begin with- Even Big Finish haven't done a proper introduction story for her yet; Maybe if the rumors are true of her coming back, maybe the "puzzle" will finally be put together)
Tegan (I remember reading an interview years back about Chris explaining that he brought Captain Jack back because of his energy, but would have also like to bring back Sarah Jane and Harry if their actors hadn't passed, and how he would also like to bring back Amy & Rory, Rose, and Tegan at some point, so hey! Glad to see that finally fulfilled upon!)
Ace (Never actually thought this show would acknowledge this character again; Amazing!)
Ian (Thank you; Finally this itch in my brain can be put to rest!)
