Can I just say that I fucking LOVE how after Bowser lands his final punch and Dark Bowser disappears, there's no forced... what's the word... shock? Relief? No "I... I did it..." NONE of that. Instead, he stomps and shouts "I RULE!". He's not at all surprised, and at no point did he think he couldn't win. So in character for him.
I mean, Bowser LITERALLY looked at this ancient being with supposed terrifying power and unimaginable strength and took on the form of the Koopa King himself and was like “What? THIS is the thing I’M supposed to be afraid of? Ha! This thing’s got NOTHING on the real deal! BRING IT ON YOU CHEAP POSER!” Gotta love the sheer confidence Bowser had with himself for the whole fight! He straight up says “I RULE” after beating Dark Bowser like saying “Yeah, I knew I’d beat this cheap imposter from the start! Ain’t got NOTHING on the sheer awesomeness of the Koopa King himself!” God I love the finale of this game!

Remember when the plot of this game was to find a cure for a disease that made Toads bloat up and be unable to stop rolling for the rest of their life? Neither do I.
The ending screen with the cake actually made me tear up when I first beat the game. It was just so sweet--after all these years, Bowser finally got his cake. It's just such a sweet moment that Peach and the others would actually thank and show appreciation to Bowser for all of his hard work, cause they know they wouldn't have been able to overcome Fawful and the Dark Star without him. I love this game.
Even though there is literally no voice acting, the delivery of “THIS KINGDOM IS ALL MINE! SO YOU VANISH!” gives me chills and is honestly determined and emotional asf

I got this game back when I was 8. I never finished, until I beat it today. When I saw the end screen, I felt satisfied, and proud. And the final boss was flipping awesome, so it was worth it.
The mario and luigi series is absolutely incredible. It brings so much life and love to the beloved characters who are otherwise mostly devoid of story, character, and emotion. I've played all except for Dream Team (played half of it) and Paper Jam, and each one further evolves the character and personality of everyone. Bowser's Inside Story in particular brought some loveableness to Bowser, and the ending was a bit surprising and so fitting. Dream Team delves into Luigi and really brings out his true character behind his sheepishness and cowardly tendencies. It made me sad when I got to the part in his deep mind where it showed his thoughts and his desire to join Mario on all his adventures. I mean, they do such an incredible job with this series and I can't help but love it. Really hope to get back to playing through Dream Team and hopefully Paper Jam. Just wonderful stories and great gameplay that is engaging and ties into whatever is happening during the story. How can you not love this series

Fighting Dark Bowser as the original Bowser makes you feel like an absolute badass if your timing is on-point. He can throw a punch that seems much stronger than one of yours, and you can deflect it with a simple jab. He's supposed to be a more powerful version of you, yet you can just beat him to death with your bare fists if you want, while he relies on dark powers and minions.

I don't know why I never picked this game up when it came out. As soon as I heard "The Finale" from Smash 4 I really wanted to see the boss fight it's used in but, I kept forgetting. I finally remembered. I regret not getting this game. The fights, the story, and how Bowser is a good guy. Incredible!

Origin but bowser adopted the koopalings not just to help him get peach, but to give them a better life and not end up as orphans. Also he respected peach’s decision that she didn’t want to be with him or Mario. So far after that, he didn’t kidnapped peach.
It really sucks that the remake was the main thing that killed off alpha dream, but I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to make a game for the 3ds in late 2018

Probably one of the most creative games of all time. The story, the use of the already iconic characters in new ways, the world build, the moves, mechanics, ambiance…its literally a masterpiece.
This is my favorite Mario game by quite a bit. The sprites never looked better, the Bros. attacks were amazing, Bowser is a super fun to play main character and he's never been more likeable, and the final fight is Mario, Luigi and Bowser working together. They even gave Bowser and Dark Bowser awesome fight choreography with some of the ways you can counterattack; my favorite is when you block his dropping on you with the shell and then counterattack with the punch. Such a great game.
Note that in the original compared to the remake, dark bowser looks absolutely savaged, broken spikes, broken horn, cut marks everywhere. In the remake he just looks tired, here it shows how much Bowser DESTROYED Dark Bowser. Probably to graphic to show permanent injury in a Mario game.
Finishing off Dark Bowser gives off such a great feeling, it's fucking unmatched, Pure silence as Dark Bowser is left helpless without his core, and having bowser beat him with one last barrage of punches, amazing.
All the scene prior to the fight makes me tear up. Chippi telling Bowser that he won't fight alone, but his biggest rivals will help him from within, and then Bowser laughing at the scene he's in and saying that the Moshroom Kingdom won't vanish because he will have it, in my eyes prooving that he could be a great leader for the kingdom because he defended it himself instead of waiting for others to do it. This Bowser has no comparison to the ones of the main series, he's just better.
Rom' same. Now that I am older i actually almost killed it then Mario died at the last thing when I was about to kill it and I could have healed before. I am going to finish it though, so I can make my ten year old self proud that he actually does it at some point.
I just absolutely love the ending of this game, it may be not one but The best Mario endings in the Mario universe, because this just shows that without Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser, there would have never been the Mario video games, meaningful they know they will be back in the game, and believe the creator knows this too.
This brings back so many memories of my childhood, this game was very much ahead of its time. The story line is so creative and the user interfaces were immaculate.
2:20 one of the few moment i turned the Sound Slider to MAX! I was so surprised by the Music, it i HAD to make it louder. Cleary one of the best unexpected Moment i had in a Videogame.
Simple fix -beat the game fighting as few enemies along the way as possible to avoid levelling up too far ahead and spend all levelling up points on something useless

This game is the best, the music, the final boss fight, and having Bowser as a main character, I love it. I really hope there was an EX version (Harder Version) in the game, where enemies are a lot stronger than the normal and the bosses are like 5-10 levels higher. I would love to play the game with that mode.

I see the first 3 Mario and Luigi games as the original trilogy, guided by Fawful who's a villain in the first game, plotting his revenge in the second game and finally acting out his plan as the main villain in the last game. Everything that came after that was bonus material and tbh I never played those games. The original 3 have a good place in my heart. I feel the same way about Paper Mario, the first 3 games were great but after that it went downhill.

bro tf u talking bout dark bowser is legit one of the best villains of the story of videogames
I grew up with this game and I loved it. Dark Bowser was truly memorable fight, the clash between Bowser and Dark Bowser was truly legendary!
It took me like 20 mins of the first dark Bowser phase to realize you had to punch fawful out and continue the fight
All the scene prior to the fight makes me tear up. Chippi telling Bowser that he won't fight alone, but his biggest rivals will help him from within, and then Bowser laughing at the scene he's in and saying that the Moshroom Kingdom won't vanish because he will have it, in my eyes prooving that he could be a great leader for the kingdom because he defended it himself instead of waiting for others to do it. This Bowser has no comparison to the ones of the main series, he's just better.

Rom' same. Now that I am older i actually almost killed it then Mario died at the last thing when I was about to kill it and I could have healed before. I am going to finish it though, so I can make my ten year old self proud that he actually does it at some point.

I just absolutely love the ending of this game, it may be not one but The best Mario endings in the Mario universe, because this just shows that without Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser, there would have never been the Mario video games, meaningful they know they will be back in the game, and believe the creator knows this too.
Personally I prefer partners in times ending a tiny bit more but this is way less difficult :)

This brings back so many memories of my childhood, this game was very much ahead of its time. The story line is so creative and the user interfaces were immaculate.
Just got home from watching the Mario movie and this is on my recommended. Bro I miss this game so much
2:20 one of the few moment i turned the Sound Slider to MAX! I was so surprised by the Music, it i HAD to make it louder. Cleary one of the best unexpected Moment i had in a Videogame.

The only problem I have with this boss is that it doesn't have enough health. Call me crazy but I want the awesome boss fights to be more difficult.
Simple fix -beat the game fighting as few enemies along the way as possible to avoid levelling up too far ahead and spend all levelling up points on something useless
@@Bond01_ I did this plus challenge shell. The true final boss is junker because Christ that thing can 1-2 punch you in a single turn and practically needs perfect play

this is such a sick boss fight, with the perfect theme to go with it, maybe even one of the best. I really wish i had played this game as a kid, i only remember playing it for a few minutes on r4i... not continuing the game is definitely a big regret i have now lol
I remember my first time beating this was so satisfying. Bowser's final hit did 321 damage, so it was like "321 and you are DONE!"

This game is the best, the music, the final boss fight, and having Bowser as a main character, I love it. I really hope there was an EX version (Harder Version) in the game, where enemies are a lot stronger than the normal and the bosses are like 5-10 levels higher. I would love to play the game with that mode.

I see the first 3 Mario and Luigi games as the original trilogy, guided by Fawful who's a villain in the first game, plotting his revenge in the second game and finally acting out his plan as the main villain in the last game. Everything that came after that was bonus material and tbh I never played those games. The original 3 have a good place in my heart. I feel the same way about Paper Mario, the first 3 games were great but after that it went downhill.
Now this brings back the memories of my brothers and I sitting around the dsi playing together, times will never be the same
