Bowser’s Inside Story and Dream Team are always back and forth as to which I prefer. Both have an amazing soundtrack, absurdly powerful final boss (especially on hard mode), and make Bowser a legitimize threat, whether it’d be him taking on his own genes fused with an ancient evil on top of a destroyed Peach’s Castle with a Dark Storm surrounding them, or him gaining obtaining the power of dreams making him shine with a rainbow glow and super powering his strength to astronomical levels to pummel the Bros on top of the Castle he wished for.
No, honestly, despite bowser getting the power of a god in dream team, he’s kind of treated as a joke for the entire game and I would have preferred if he wasn’t the true final and they had let Antasma get his time to shine. Bowser’s inside story is definitely the best one by far.
Dreamy bowser was really good, but I wanted antasma as the final boss, he was a really intriguing villain and it would’ve given somebody besides Bowser the spotlight
idk i felt like it was cool to bowser to take the spotloght after being treated like that by other villains in the other m&l games, there were such nice plot twists at the end of the game
idk i felt like it was cool to bowser to take the spotloght after being treated like that by other villains in the other m&l games, there were such nice plot twists at the end of the game
Elder princess shroob, she wasnt evil, she just wanted her race to be safe and she only fought you for killing her sister, it was her sister who was truly evil.
For me dark bowser & dreamy bowser. Elder princess shroob had a really emotional theme(but i got used to it). But in mlbis + bowser jrs journey the bj's boss theme takes the cake for unique composition.
The fact that Alphadream went bankrupt due to production and development costs means they truly cared for this series and were actually trying to give their consumers a true game. Going bankrupt isn’t something I wanted for Alphadream but they have the most respect I give for any game manufacturers that I love, Thank you Alphadream you really were a important part of my childhood.
Notthing i can say! But to me Mario and Luigi partners in time needs a remake too!!! I don't care if it was not one of the most played mario and luigi games! I loved the game so much!!!💖💖💖💖
Yeahhhh in fact i tried a lot of time and i was so angry that I reset the game and fight all the monster that I can and I fight the boss final and I was like « I’m ABOUT TO RUIN THIS WHOLE MUSHROOM LIFE »
45:35 according to the law of (i forgot the name). A fawful with a pink suit should not be able to fly His hand is to small to lift his fat body of the ground (Insert the rest of it here)
According to all known laws of Chortles, a fat little bean man should not be able to fly. His stubby arms are too small to lift his fat little bean body off the ground. However, Fawful flies anyway, because Fawful has the Chortles.
Yep. You're literally causing the entire shroob species to die. You're causing mass extinction of a sentient species. Yet, it's either them... or the entire planet. It is literally a battle which will decide which planet lives and which one dies
It really did. Even though I did not find the Shroob sisters difficult, it felt so good knowing the Shroobs were gone forever (except for the 4 that appear in Bowser's Inside Story) when you beat them was the most satisfying.
SAME. I personally think Dream Team is underrated in terms of battle gameplay, (minus some things that could be better optimized) story, characters, (Especially Antasma) and music. I feel like people compare it to BIS way too much to appreciate the game itself.
After Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story, Bowser should learn not to eat mysterious mushrooms. (Okay, maybe he only learned that in Bowser's Inside Story, since the mushroom he ate in Partners in Time wasn't on his OWN terms...)
Personal fact: I only finish the Super Star Saga's remake because: 1. I couldn't save my progress in the first game. 2. The final boss was too broken for me at that time in Partners in time. xd 3. Also difficult for me in Bowser Inside Story. 4. Many things to do in Dream team. 5. Idw why in Paper Jam. Probably I will finish the Bowser Inside story's remake.
Panther In Time, ah yes. It comes in between Sabertooth Saga and Bengal's Inside Story, if I recall. There was also Dingo Team (I couldn't find any wild cat names that start with D) and Puma Jam, they were pretty good too from what I can remember.
Unpopular opinion but I think the 3ds remakes of BiS and SS are really good. Do I prefer the originals? Not really. Sure the sprites are good and some of the music is different but these remakes are still good in their own right. Yeah they’ve been using the same models since Dream Team but the frame rate and lighting is heavily improved and I personally like the 3ds models
I had so much rage in the original sss, the remake really helped it and had a lot of fun, never fully experience bis, I have the remake of it and I like so far, but if I decide to play the original then it go has smooth as other have,
I think I know why he does this power. there are two things: 1. Uses Overpowered badges 2. Makes bonus to only power since he is a 10/10 player at dodging
It's actually 1. I had MORE experience than him in some games, and I was only like a level higher than the final boss. I was a grinder, But I had MORE exp and still took longer to beat.
Number 2: For SS, he didn't have mushroom badge (I know that, looking at the damage numbers of chopper bros. It went all the way down to 6 damage on the last few hits. When I used mushroom badge, none of my hits did less than 83 damage)
I personally loved Partners In Time final boss ending it felt like the fate of the world depended on the Mario Bros & babies to defeat the invading aliens.
I love how the story runs through all the emotions, funny yet dark at the same time. Final shroom boss is pure seriousness, no more games whoever loses its over.
That's because it did. It isn't for nothing that PiT is one of the darkest Mario games. It was your species or theirs. The losing side would be facing mass extinction
Man the nostalgia im having for the first 3 games is insane. Too bad I missed out on Paper Jam and the remasters which sucks because it looks absolutely amazing!
21:27 this is why I love this fight. The finishing KO PUNCH!! Btw I love this fight just for the music. 26:50 34:03 is that the... HUGE DREAMY LUIGI MODEL???!??!?!?!?
@@relaxn3918 It has some problems like any game, but not "so many problems." In fact it has less problems than Dream Team and has everything that makes a M&L game a M&L game.
@@chrange9714 that's very controversial. I agree it has less problems, however they feel more noticable in PJ. DT's problems- Sluggish pace for first 5th of the game, motion controls with Zeekeeper, and that's pretty much it realistically. PJ's problems- Bland Story, little dialogue, most paper toad missions and papercraft battles fill more like filler than epic in BIS or DT, no original characters, and the areas feel barren(empty) compared to the past series's areas.
@@relaxn3918 The story is anything but bland, it's literally two worlds colliding. It's the only game in the series to have a genuine Mario vs. Bowser plot and it even puts a twist on that by having Bowser team up with his Paper self and vice versa with Mario. Who said every game has to have new characters and a big story? The game having little dialogue isn't even true, it's chock full of it. The paper craft battles were really cool and gave a refreshing take on giant battles from the previous games. The only area that felt emptier than areas in past games was the desert. Makes sense, it's a desert. If other areas didn't feel as big as past series's areas, it's probably because there's less NPCs around. In PJ they're mostly in villages albeit a couple areas. I'll agree the Toad missions we're a drag though. Some of them anyway, it's really nice that they reward you. However, some Toad missions genuinely bored me. Sidenote, they were originally going to introduce new characters in PJ originally.
I think my favorite boss fight is against Bowser with the paper armor he looks awesome with that armor on. I would like to see it show up again in a future again even if only in a reference.
No matter what bowser's inside story will always be my favourite game the fact that you can use bowser and the final k.o punch at the end just a masterpiece
I only got to play the very first Bros game shown here so this whole video is BLOWING MY MIND lol I’m shocked how much they kept building the mechanics to make the fights so much better
The final boss of Bowser's inside story is the most perfect final boss in any game I've ever seen. Firstly, the location is a stark contrast in what we see traditionally in Mario games, from Mario and Luigi infiltrating to Bowser's castle and entering the deepest parts to fight him, to Bowser fighting against essentially a force that wants to destroy all, and while not in good faith, he fights said force at the very top of Princess Peach's castle, subverting his character and his motivation of trying to control all of the mushroom kingdom, without disregarding his overarching goal, which is just peak storytelling in my eyes at least for a goddamn Mario game. The fight itself is even better. The stakes are high with this grand hurricane the Dark Star summoned that is threatening to destroy the entire land, and in a clash of fire to fire, the fight starts to decide the fate of the mushroom kingdom. The music is beyond perfect for this type of setting, giving it both intensity and a shock factor. The moves the Dark Star possesses is what Bowser has, plus some of its own power, making for a fight unlike any other in the franchise. Even when you defeat him, Fawful finds a way to make him beat Bowser at all costs, using the special moves and minions that Bowser had, all before you punch him in the gut and you both fight in absorbing or eating Fawful, and once you devour him, it results in the Mario brothers to step into the ring, who have been chearing on Bowser in defeating the Dark Star, with Fawful trying his damnest to outright kill the brothers. Despite his best efforts, Fawful collapses and is defeated, resulting in the Dark Stars deformation, letting Bowser be able to punch him beyond oblivion, resulting in both the Dark Stars and Bowser's defeat, and the mushroom kingdom being saved by its number one tyrant. Its a masterpiece of writing, cinematic suspense, intense music, and marks Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story as one of the greatest video games of all time (in my opinion)
I have to say, I never beat inside story. Yet the Remake came out on my birthday and DAMN THAT SOUNDTRACK I LOVE IT! I consider Bowser's Inside Story the most amazing game out of the 5, it's final boss music was OOOOH done so well
Mario and Luigi Dream team bros was a super good game with arguably the BEST soundtrack. The plot twist and story is absolutely amazing.. It's an underdog story. Luigi and Bowser are the underdogs.. Or Antasma who failed in the end. The fact that bowser was so paranoid of people betraying him that he betrayed the one and only villian who TRULY wanted to be Bowser's friend is just amazing. Antasma seems like a guy that is a strategist like Fawful but also has a touch Dimentio.. He also wanted the Dream Stone to make his biggest wish come true.. To this day we don't know what this wish is. Maybe to bring back his people.. Because he is the king of bat's but there are no other bat's like him. He doesn't care about the cool names or shiny entrances like Bowser.. He concentrates straight on the plan.
@@tidebringer4517 I actually liked the bro item mechanic. I do agree with returning it to like the European/Japanese version where later game enemies and bosses have their hp chopped in half.
@@tidebringer4517No. It was because it was an early DS title that had zero marketing, simple but underdeveloped story, and had the biggest syndrome of rpg linearity of the series besides for maybe paper jam. The bro item thing was initially weird for some people, but it wasn't a major reason why it wasn't well received and why it didn't sell as well as the others.
Plasma Wave Maybe, but remember that the game is rated E, meaning that children will likely play it, and if the bosses have excess health, progression for the children will likely be difficult.
Superstar saga: didn’t really mind it but man takes forever to beat it Partners in time: all right let’s do this 2nd phase: oh crap! Third phase: I swear I’m done with this Bowser inside story: straight up I’m just bopping to the music this boss is probably the easiest Dream team: I thought this would be hard but the Bros attack helped me a lot they’re just so fun to control Paper jam: wasn’t much but man compared to dream team these attacks might be the best rival to dream team specially mega Luigi and paper Mario kite Superstar saga dx: I felt like I was about to die in this moment why did they make this so hard? Bowser inside story dx: this is still fun and I love it maybe the music kind of sound as good but this was actually pretty good not gonna lie

Yoko Shimomura never disappoints with her soundtracks, she also worked on Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV’s OST
I love inside story and paper jam the most. Sad that the company, which produces the games went bankrupt.
No, honestly, despite bowser getting the power of a god in dream team, he’s kind of treated as a joke for the entire game and I would have preferred if he wasn’t the true final and they had let Antasma get his time to shine. Bowser’s inside story is definitely the best one by far.

Sometime early around release when people saw the reveal it was Bowful. lokey kinda wish it was
Elder princess shroob, she wasnt evil, she just wanted her race to be safe and she only fought you for killing her sister, it was her sister who was truly evil.
For me dark bowser & dreamy bowser. Elder princess shroob had a really emotional theme(but i got used to it). But in mlbis + bowser jrs journey the bj's boss theme takes the cake for unique composition.

the elder shroob was the only boss that made it really feel like a fight, or rather a end to the war. It made us feel horrible
I agree. It's even my favourite final boss fight.
Agreed

Respectable opinion
I like the originals more but i respect ur opinion
To me, the remakes just seem way to floaty with any attacks.
I respect that! I don't know which version I like more honestly... I loved both~

1. Uses Overpowered badges
2. Makes bonus to only power since he is a 10/10 player at dodging
That or he grinded like hell.
It's actually 1. I had MORE experience than him in some games, and I was only like a level higher than the final boss. I was a grinder, But I had MORE exp and still took longer to beat.
Actually i had the mush badge on mario and i only did 1/3 or his damage on luigi XD
3. He is PURPLE
Number 2:
For SS, he didn't have mushroom badge (I know that, looking at the damage numbers of chopper bros.
Bowser's Inside Story's gotta be my favorite, especially speaking of final bosses, it's an epic fight lol

So is Paper Jam
@@chrange9714 paper jam is ok at worst imo, and fun at best. It just has so many problems and takes away what made a ML game, a ML game.
@@relaxn3918 It has some problems like any game, but not "so many problems." In fact it has less problems than Dream Team and has everything that makes a M&L game a M&L game.
@@chrange9714 that's very controversial. I agree it has less problems, however they feel more noticable in PJ.
DT's problems-
Sluggish pace for first 5th of the game, motion controls with Zeekeeper, and that's pretty much it realistically.
PJ's problems-
Bland Story, little dialogue, most paper toad missions and papercraft battles fill more like filler than epic in BIS or DT, no original characters, and the areas feel barren(empty) compared to the past series's areas.

Shouldn't Antasma be included too? He's the final boss you fight in the dream world, thus counting as an actual final boss
Underrated boss ngl
I have to say, I never beat inside story.
Yet the Remake came out on my birthday and DAMN THAT SOUNDTRACK I LOVE IT!
I consider Bowser's Inside Story the most amazing game out of the 5, it's final boss music was OOOOH done so well
Remake music is trash compared to original
Damn that remake of superstar saga bowletta music is amazing

@@tidebringer4517 I actually liked the bro item mechanic. I do agree with returning it to like the European/Japanese version where later game enemies and bosses have their hp chopped in half.
@@tidebringer4517No. It was because it was an early DS title that had zero marketing, simple but underdeveloped story, and had the biggest syndrome of rpg linearity of the series besides for maybe paper jam.
