Ich hoffe da kommen noch sehr viele videos von dir über shapr3d.
Wow, your Shapr3D knowledge is most informative. Learned a lot today. Much appreciate your time to post. People like you, is what makes RUclips so awesome!!
Gosh your shapr3d vids have been so freakin helpful! I make furniture for a living for small shop in Austin tx, we push through a lot of work year round and recently I’ve taken over all the CAD design with just my iPad and Shapr3D, you have helped that transition! Really appreciate these! Thank you!
Awesome video. I’m so upset 😂 how much time I spent in SketchUp. I was absolutely floored by how well you could do things in Shapr3D. I could do all of it SketchUp, but it takes WAY longer. Consider me converted!

I really need to just sit down and watch all your tutorials because I’m so used to sketch up on desktop that I feel incompetent trying to make furniture models with Shapr3d. But doing this is one of the main reasons I bought an iPad Pro.
Yeah it always take sometime to get adjusted with new modeling programs. Good thing with this is that the modeling techniques are more similar with other 3D modelers like Fusion 360 and Solidworks. So if you can master this, you’ll be able to handle those other programs too
Thanks for this in depth tutorial vid. I will need to watch it a few times in order to get everything to sink in. It looks straightforward when watching you do it. But is a bit more difficult finding everything and remembering the most efficient tools and sequence. Thanks again.
At 10:23 in your video you take a measurement on your IPad by clicking two lines. I tried the same on the desktop and it does not take the measurement. What might I be doing wrong?
Simply an Amazing Video, i watched it all in one breath (considering 4 ads videos to skip)!!! Can you please recommend a plugin or software to make the cutting diagram automatically? thanks for sharing so nicly and with nice humor.
Thank you for this very helpful lesson. I am trying to learn shapr3d to design and build my own furniture and hopefully some 3d printable projects later on. Went and bought a surface pro 9 just to learn this. Its been interesting to say the least lol. You make this look so easy. As they say practice makes perfect. Subscribed to your channel.
You demonstrated how you make a cut sheet with ur model's parts. Is there a way to export or print a those with all the part's dimensions? Like a blueprint? I don't work with CNC, but having those specs printable would help as I mark-up a board for cutting. Appreciate ur videos & nice design work. TY

@Kiki-ec8wf I’d say for majority of people, iPad and pencil is easier to work with because shapr3D started out as an iPad program and it’s SUPER intuitive. Ultimately, I think to get the most out of this program, it’s best to be proficient in both platforms

Great video as always. This is what I have been waiting for. Really Shapr3D 101! Thank you Alex for sharing. Really appreciate it. Doing on your iPad looks so sleek.

Yes it still works. Are you using the iPad or computer? The steps on the computer is slightly different. Check the popup tutorial at the top of the app to see how you need to do it on the computer. I wish both iPad and computer were the same :(

Yeah I always work with my iPad in the shop. But there’s a “dimensions” tool in the app (I thought I mentioned it in the video). You can click on and off to show and hide the dimensions. And you can print it when the dimensions are shown. But usually once I’m done modeling, it’s only 80% ready for the build. I’ll get started building and will make changes to the design when I encounter problems or if I come up with new ideas. So I always have my iPad in the shop

hi, can someone help me? is there an automatic cut list or something like that? for example, when a large kitchen is drawn, it automatically throws out a cutting list like in solid works.
@jelleluiken can you post something on the shapr3d Facebook group? Or DM me a video on instagram? I think someone also had similar problem before but they figured out what happened. I don’t remember why
Can u tell your friends at Shaper3D for someone who is gona use the program fiew times a year to model some furniture 20 $ a month is ludicrous. And I know there is a basic version and it is limited so much it reminds me of phone games. So is there a possibility of one tim price like 50 $ and no us wood workers don't need all the options. Just something simple where u can put some different colors on different peaces and mark measurements .
I have no say on what Shapr3D does with their program 😂 but I worked with the free version for a long time, and it was fine. There’s a workaround to getting colors on them
@user-gv1gd2ls6y I don’t think they’ll appreciate it if I showed the workaround 😂. But yes, you can add measurements like SketchUp. I’m pretty sure the Measurements tool works in the free version right? I could be wrong

Great tutorial! I’m just starting with Shapr3D, coming from SketchUp. SketchUp has the concept of components that can be reused. If you make a change to a component it is reflected in all the instances. Is there a similar feature in Shapr3D?
That’s definitely one of my favorite features on SketchUp. Unfortunately, Shapr3D doesn’t have that (yet). I know it’s something they’re working on
Excellent video! Thank you for going through multiple ways to get the same tasks done.
Thanks for checking it out!
In the free option do you get 2 projects a month ? What’s to stop you doing many drawing on one project ?
No it’s just two projects. So you can put multiple models into one single project if you want. Nothing stopping you
Can you parameterise dimensions? Eg, if you have a gap tolerance and want to update the whole model, like Fusion360.
The beta with that feature is coming out soon. And I’m currently making a video about how to do that with the new update. Video should be out next week. Keep an eye out :)

you can also double tap with your apple pen on the same face to select the entire sketch at once

It works in the parametric beta version of the software

Fuck sims this is it. Goodbye life, I’m creating my whole house at scale 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m only a few hours in sharpr and this video absolutely blew my mind
Can u tell your friends at Shaper3D for someone who is gona use the program fiew times a year to model some furniture 20 $ a month is ludicrous. And I know there is a basic version and it is limited so much it reminds me of phone games. So is there a possibility of one tim price like 50 $ and no us wood workers don't need all the options. Just something simple where u can put some different colors on different peaces and mark measurements .
I have no say on what Shapr3D does with their program 😂 but I worked with the free version for a long time, and it was fine. There’s a workaround to getting colors on them
@@BevelishCreations I know it was a suggestion. So can u make a video about colors and can we put measurements like in sketch up ?
@user-gv1gd2ls6y I don’t think they’ll appreciate it if I showed the workaround 😂. But yes, you can add measurements like SketchUp. I’m pretty sure the Measurements tool works in the free version right? I could be wrong
Plasticity 3D..growing, only one payment, and price "on the ground" 😊
Great software but lack of nesting is a huge downgrade..
Yeah hopefully we’ll get it one day
So much harder on PC =(
i use illustrator for mockup and cutting list. . 😂
Whatever works haha
Absolutely nothing works! Try and draw a rectangle it all it says is "out of bounds"?
This is the first time I’ve heard of this error..

Ipad için sadece şu program için ilgileniyorum. Bir tek mac sisteminde var. Yoksa zikimde değil apple. Moron sistemi.
?? It’s available on iPad, Mac, and Windows
I love the way you work, but you talk too much and interrupt the enjoyment of drawing. Focus on drawing, please.
Thank You!
Thanks for watching :)
I hope the video supported Korean subtitles🥲🥲
