Which accessory do you plan on adding to your kit?
Hey Kri! Down the line the el gato prompter seems really good, but probably a cage sooner. also, im not fully sure but i think theres a small error with the video timestamps! "17:36 - Elgato Cam Link Pro for a6700" afaik you don't show a cam link :)
Also, i think mentioning a screen protector wouldnt be a terrible idea :)
@@caseyzx a screen protector is a great addition. I fixed that timestamp and appreciate you for letting me know.
@@kriedholm You also mentioned Atomos Ninja V in the timestamps instead of Atoll S Bracket
I'm thinking about the Neewer Cage and the Ulanzi Fan. I've only had the a6700 a few days, but have a shoot with it next week. It will be used as a stripped down Gimbal Cam to compliment my FX30 which will live on sticks. (The a6700 is an upgrade to my a6300.) I typically shoot 24fps 4K XAVC-HS 4:2:2 10-bit, S.Gamut3/Cine, so I'm a bit worried about overheating. FYI, the a6300 had an overheating issue while shoot 4K, but Sony resolved the issue with a firmware update. It has been -- and still is -- a solid camera ever since. Hoping the same for the a6700!
i have a sony a6400 but this video still helped tons, thank you Kri!
Yes, these accessories would also work well with the a6400. Thanks, Casey!
Great videos! I really like the content and delivery of your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video.
You're welcome - thanks for tuning in!
Extremely helpful!
Glad to hear!
Just did a video shoot here in Miami and it was around 100 F and no overheating or something. 4K 60 frames. Great camera for its price and size. I had FX3 before the 6700 and in terms of video quality it is hard to tell the difference.
That’s great!
I will be using my new A6700 mainly for photography so rather than video so I got the Smallrig base instead of a full case. Also bought the Smallrig mini tripod which is very similar to the Pgytech one you have. I have the Pgytech Beetle clip which I find essential for taking the weight of my heavy 100-400 zoom lens.
Sounds like a great setup!
Where did you get those cool acoustic tiles?
Scored on FB marketplace
can i still use that ecm microphone if i use a smallrig full cage for that camera?
Not if the cage covers the hot shoe
Can you use the Atoll along with a cage or no?
Doesn't work with any of the cages I have
your audio is 1000%
Thank you!
