Hello sir, l have have opening the PayPal using your format and was able to open it but couldn't link my card, since sign up as business account but link my personal account card could that be the reason for decline my card thank you.
No Festus, it's not because it's a personal account card, not all cards are accepted for withdrawal by PayPal, you have to get a prepaid dollar or Naira card. The one I recommend is the UBA prepaid card

Yea Onyekachi, multiple account creation from the same IP address with the same sign up credentials like email and documents could pose a problem.

You can't change settings on the current one to make it work, you have to create a new one with the steps I show in that video

You can link most cards but you can't actually withdraw to all. Our recommendation is the UBA Dollar or Naira prepaid card
What about those of us who do not have websites as you stated in 4:18. What do we do ?. Also can Nin slip be used in place of document ?
I website is not a must, I only used in this case coz the people I was opening this account for had one, but if you don't you can skip, no problems at all, and yes your NIN can work, all that's required is the number 👍🏾

Yes you can use your voters card, and I do not know any other cards that work with PayPal yet, only other methods of withdrawal I use are the Payoneer and Wise method which you can find on the channel under the "Finances" playlist

Hi Rayan, you can use on your mobile phone browser just as on your PC, but I'd advice not to use with the app, as you can't quite use the right URL

It will most likely lead to issues immediately after creating or later down the line, but I have seen it work, I just don't advice it coz of the low success rate of using NIN or Nigerian Driver's license

It's better to have the estimate high and you receive less rather than the other way round, but this is not much of a problem, just use a fiat estimate

Hello , please I've been able to successfully create the PayPal account, linked my UBA Prepaid Dollar card successfully as well and I've received about $50 but the money is on hold and not available for withdrawal...what do I do?
Please I have 4 questions:
1. Since you registered with your international passport, what do you do when the passport expires? Do you edit on Paypal by putting in the new passport number?
2. You mentioned having restrictions on payment into the account. How would indicate to PayPal how much you are expecting per business transaction? This is because your payment could sometimes go way higher than expected.
3. Are payments automatically received on your PayPal, or is there a PayPal account number you give clients to pay to, at least when there is not yet prepaid card you have linked to the account yet?
4. While you were filling the form in this video, you included the website of the business category you are into. What of a situation where the service you are offering, does not have a website? Do you leave that option blank? Is it compulsory the business category has a website?

1. You should have your document renewed incase revalidation is requested, but you don't update unless PayPal requests, which may or may not happen, but on your end just have your documents up to date.
2. When I opened my account a couple of years ago, in the form filling process PayPal requests that you provide a range of amount you or your business typically receives, these days that seem not to be an issue.
3. You receive directly to your PayPal account, PayPal does not give you a bank account or card, you send your PayPal email to your clients who can either pay directly from their own PayPal if they are PayPal users as well, or you can send a payment link to them and they pay via a card if they don't have PayPal, in both cases you receive to your PayPal balance.
4. It is not compulsory to have a website

I have an issue though, I linked a virtual card to my Nigerian PayPal which I was able to fund my PayPal wallet and so I sent the money to someone in the US. The money got there but it was on hold and so the person had to refund it from his PayPal wallet back to mine because that money was the only option given since I needed it for an urgent transaction. I received the refund instantly but realized there is option for withdrawal into the same card I linked in the first place. Please how do I get my money out .
P.S : I also noticed the system automatically selects 'goods & services' as the subject of transfer, with no option to select from. Please I need help to get my withdraw my money. Thank you

There is no add money option or button on my PayPal account, what can I do?
You don't need to have a balance in your PayPal account to make a purchase. You can either use a a card or bank account linked to your PayPal this will allow you the Instant Transfer option (which is funded from your bank). That's why you don't have the add money option.
Sorry apart from the prepaid card what other card can I use to link my papal I saw in the other video you had more than one card linked
Daniel yes I have more than one card linked, but only the prepaid card works for withdrawal. You can link pretty much any card but these are only used to make payments, when it comes to withdrawal, only the prepaid card and foreign bank accounts will work

No you can't deposit from your Nigerian account to PayPal, but you can link your card and make payments through the card anywhere PayPal is accepted

Some people successfully link their wide and payoneer US accounts and others don't. An alternative might be to use a bank that offers prepaid visa cards in your country, here the UBA Prepaid visa Card works for us. I'm also exploring more options to withdraw from PayPal, soon as I find more that work I'll make a video on it

I notice they require a scanned copy of identification when you use any other document other than an international passport, just scan the document and submit, it will take a while but it will clear

If it's a new account and it's your first transaction, then that is the issue, you need to gibe it some time maybe a week or so if by then the money doesn't clear up, you can always issue a refund back to the sender and you can try the transfer again, but just give it sometime, its usual normal on new accounts

Nunu often times after you submit an ID and they don't lift the ban, you almost always never get the account back

Yes I can. I have had my Dom account and Nigerian card linked since I opened my account and there's been no issues.
Only you can't use it for withdrawal, just payments online through PayPal

No you can't send via FNF on a business account, It was one of the reasons most accounts were restricted back when the FNF option was visible on every account, but now it's easy not to make that mistake as you won't even see the FNF option on a business account such as this. I hear some other locations see the option but I'll advice if you open a business account whether using this method I shared or any other, don't send via FNF, it could get your account limited.

To do that, select "Personal Account" instead of Business when you start the sign up process

I've used Lesotho PayPal in the past, twice my accounts got restricted, 1 time I had some money trapped in it that I never recovered. So you see why I don't quite share that method, this account I've been running for close to 2years without any issues, I'm not saying one is better than the other, but this is the one I've personally had no issues with

Eya, your regular Nigerian card will most likely not work, I'll advice you get a UBA prepaid card or alternatively use one of the methods I share on the channel using Payoneer or Wise to withdraw from PayPal

Yea Ogechi you can use your name, you don't have to have a registered business, just a valid means of personal identification like international passport or drivers licence

You didn't do anything o! PayPal is just a land mine, you never know what to expect. Click on the error, and see if they require you to provide a scanned copy of your document, hopefully that'd fix it

It depends on what you want to do, so if you want to make purchases online where PayPal is used for checkout, then you can link any card and as long as that card is linked, the money in it is pretty much same as on your PayPal balance as you can choose to pay for goods and service online from that linked card.
But if you must have the money in your PayPal balance for some reason, then you might have to Pay a fellow PayPal user to send you the funds and you pay them

@@ifunanyalicia2323I just remembered that I read a few days ago that banks have suspended dollar withdrawals to Naira cards, clearly this is the effect of that new policy coz the UBA Prepaid Card naira card used to work perfectly on PayPal. So my advice would be to get the dollar one instead, I still use that, and it works. Hopes this clarifies things for you.

@@ifunanyalicia2323 If you link the Payoneer account, when withdrawing from PayPal to Payoneer, PayPal will charge about 2% and during withdrawal from payoneer, there also be about a 2% charge as well, so the charges are pretty much the same only you have to pay it twice while withdrawing from both platforms
