gus was calling the twins chickens (spanish for pollos) and the twins agreed they were cowards and called off the attack

im sure your joking but it was actually Gus summoning them to him, because walt was for that moment untouchable. and Gus does have authority in that town. however the tins DEMAND blood so thats why gus gives his blessing for killing Hank.

that's not the case here, in spanish languages we say "gallina" when calling someone a coward. Yes, both pollos and gallina means chicken, but only one is used to say coward

this episode one of my favorites and i love the way it ended. it was creepy seeing how skilled the cousins are at stealth and how they were waiting for Walt to come out to introduce him to their axe and only retreated because Mike was watching his house and alerted Gus. as soon as Walt got out of the shower he noticed that the eyeball from the teddy bear was misplaced and it unnerved Walt into thinking he wasn’t alone and scanned the empty hallway but finds no one and is completely unaware that not only he was spared from death but from a brutal and violent one too.

Absolutely love the brothers, the way that Luis (Marco) had the axe across his lap tapping on it and Daniel (Leonel) looking and tossing the eyeball back in the suitcase.

@@lechero4295 Gus Fring is a powerful individual only slightly below the cartel leader, "Don Eladio". The cartel knows him as the man who operates his drug monopoly via a chicken joint called "Los Pollos Hermanos" which translates to "the Chicken Brothers". They knew that "Pollos" was a message from Fring to not kill their target and they obeyed as Fring has more power within the cartel.
