The convertible is beautiful. Your friend knows how to spec his cars. This one is really nice. I like this better than his orange c8 coupe. This convertible is making my heart beat fast.
Great to see such a superb American designed, engineered, and built machine; especially at this price. Shows what's the art of possible when folks with real passion are fully enabled.
I have the TR coupe Z51 with exact seat colors (yellow seatbelts). I love being able to view the engine but the convertible adds another level of cool !

It’s history in da making to do it right . I love it bro n congrats to da owner ya friend n convertible too so cool . The 2020 will be a classic. Da 2021 how they gonna top this . Maybe more power n more carbon can anyone give their answer
I think a nice addition would be for the heat shield to be part of the convertible top mechanism. "Normal" operation the top raises and closes as it does currently. "Maintenance" or "Show Engine" option the 1st stage lifts up as it does now and then the heat shield would lift up showing the engine. I agree the Z51 spoiler both the regular and the high spoiler do not look good. GM needs to figure out a active aero. The color options are amazing. black nacelles or body paint color. The buyer can really customize this car.
I had the torch red selected but I told them to change it to CMG right before it went to 3000 status but that looks so nice tough somewhat regretting the decision but Red mist and torch red makes up 44% of all corvettes sales but I hvnt seen my car yet so I’ll wait to judge
I've been dying to get my hands on a convertible C8, But I must admit that z51 package gets great performance, But I really do love the C8 without a spoiler 🙈 do you know if there's an elegant lip design one could replace it with that doesn't stand out as much?
The only thing that bothers me is the heat being trapped in there in the engine compartment ...they should have shown the engine like Ferrari does on some models...also there is talk about transmission leaks in the gasket within a 1000 miles...and not being able to buy a replacement gasket...has anyone else heard about this ?
?? Have ordered my '21 HTC and I zee you have a rear view mirror camera on your ride. Was under the info that HTC's did not come with a rearview mirror camera?? Please advise, thanks and great insight into my future ride (Sebring Orange Z51)..
@@Drive615 wrong. 1LT convertible also comes with a rear view camera. All c8 convertibles have the rear view camera that is usable only when the top is up.

I would hate to be the Technician who has to work on the convertible having to take all that stuff off to get to the engine. We just get to enjoy and drive it lol.

Frustrating so many units in the USA but Canada dealerships cant seem to get any.

2LT and 3LT come with the rear view camera. When the top is down, it can't be used, but when it's up, it's good to go.

I’ve seen it done and it’s easy and fast to do. Just have to remove some fasteners.
