In today's episode I visit one of the LARGEST non-profit thrift stores in Oregon! H20 (Help & Hope to Others) 451 SE Maple St, Dallas, OR 97338. I love to support their cause!
We'll also go check out a vintage shop recommended to me by a subscriber.

And last but definitely not least, we stop by Engelberg Antiks (148 Liberty St NE, Salem, OR 97301) so I can pick up my Mid Century Putz houses and wait until you see the FOREVER piece I snagged for my home =)

You found some great items. Most embroidered Guatemalan blouses, or huipil, have a ton of meaning in their patterns. An expert can determine if the wearer is single or married, what village she comes from, and her family origins on both sides. They take hundreds of hours to make. A real work of art.

You can use the height at the crown. Did the coat fit? That was a great find as well.
You kind of ARE a minimalist!!! Minimalism (the way I practice it) is really not about having less, it's intention with the items you do have. Loving your belongings and finding joy in them, living in a space that makes you feel peaceful, comfortable, happy. You seem far more intentional with, inspired by, connected to, appreciative of, and honor your belongings which is really the epitome of minimalism in a consumption driven world. 🙌

I love the style, it’s eclectic but beautiful. You aren’t boxed into a corner with just one color or theme and that’s awesome.

I still have my fringe jacket I bought myself back in the day. Maybe 1969. That hat looks like what we called a John Lennon hat. It's fab and this was fun.
I see so many resellers passing by crystal and clear glass. They say it doesn’t sell. I, however, love it!

I found a nice frame /mats/ all I needed is another mat to frame a print I have wanted done. I left it at holly hobby to cut another mat.
You and The Crazy Lamp Lady are my favorite thrift RUclips channels. Sometimes when you pick up a piece, I go "yes!!!", and you and her will put it back, lol.

I live in the state of NY near the finger lakes and we have a lot to be proud of. But the items you can find in your shops are so completely different and so cool. I love seeing the items you find and even what you leave behind. Besutiful, different items, nice haul!

Love all the different thrift places you visit. I miss you and Selina thrifting together.
For some reason I don’t think Laura & Selina are together anymore. Did they go their separate ways ? Don’t hear anything about their office/shop they were fixing. Did I miss something ?
They still do videos together for TRL. Every friday😉 They also do videos for their own channels. Don't worry about our gals, they are fine. You have to remember they live 1 hour away from each other + covid has also made it harder to meet up.
