What a start!
For what was effectively a scratch crew, that was an absolute demon of a start! The crew on the stroke side were hanging onto your tails (just) at a lower rate but your push call at the 1K finished them off and all they had were your puddles. The biggest takeaway (apart from thrashing the oppo), was you sounded only slightly knackered at the finish compared with races over previous years especially in sweep - your training on and off the water has really hit the sweet spot 🎉

What were you rating in the midpiece? I kept waiting for the rate to drop but it just didnt... crazy row

May I ask, at the finish, it looks a bit like the camera starts moving towards the stern while the hands are still moving towards the bows. Is that real, not a trick of the lens (or maybe a head movement), and if so is it intentional?
I think looking into it a bit much perhaps.
Most likely, the stabilisation trying to do its best!
