JW’s knocked on my door one Saturday morning, and I was so hung over after a night of heavy drinking, I answered the door totally naked. They left and never returned.

@@IllustratetoEducate what do you think JEsus thinks of people not knowing his own prophecies? If you read the prophecies of Jesus in Micah 5:4, Isaiah chapters 11,42,52,53,61, Psalm 2, 16, 22, 110, Jesus was, is and always will be the heavenly firstborn, servant, king and high priest of the Most High Father, the Living and True God Almighty JEHOVAH, for all eternity. John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

@@Thlastday00 : Psalms 110:1 is where God asks Jesus TO WAIT to be made King. Obviously Jesus is back in heaven after his mission on earth. Verse 4 is God appointing Jesus as High Priest. Please read the above in any Bible and let me know if it is hard to understand. What is the role of a High Priest?
I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. I was required to "prepare for" and attend FIVE meetings per week...The Ministry School, The Service Meeting, The Book Study, The Watchtower Study and the Public Talk. Along with this, I was expected to get at LEAST 10 hours of "Field Service" or Door to Door each month, prepare and give a "talk" about every two months, and attend all of the Circuit and District Conventions. (District Conventions back then were FIVE LONG DAYS.) I had very little time or energy for anything else, and I rarely did any homework. I was also not allowed to have any friends in "the world" or "worldly" friends. I was not allowed to partake in ANY after school activities...I was not even allowed to join the Chess Club. I never got to celebrate Christmas or have a birthday party...not to mention Easter, 4th of July or any other holiday. And I did not have a clue that I was in a cult. I believed everything I was taught since I was a baby, and like I was trained, would DEFEND "the truth" to anyone that tried to show me the true light or real truth. I was about 40 years old when I began to question what I had been taught. I coincided with them changing the doctrine on 1914 yet again, due to their "new light." According to them, the generation of 1914, is STILL alive, and Jesus has already returned, but he came invisibly. Once I started to do honest research with a lot of it using the "Societies" own past publications, my eyes were opened. (Among other things, they have had one false prophesy after another.) I have now been free from this high control cult for many years, after doing a "long fade" as to avoid being disfellowshiped and shunned, simply for no longer agreeing with their doctrine. One thing to keep in mind...you may....just may, be able to plant a small seed of doubt in the mind of a JW, but they are TRAINED to raise their shields and NOT even listen to anyone or anything that questions the teaching of their Governing Body...especially an X-JW who they refer to as "apostates." They will not visit your church, or read anything you give to them. At your door, they may take it, but they are trained to throw it away without looking at it. Never forget they are truly cultists. And I am so glad I have freed myself from them.
@ltbob8274 so now you celebrate pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter and you know it is wrong, everyone of those Apostate literatures are full of lies and half truths. JWs are not Cultists but the Churches of Christendom are the perfect example of a CULT . Jehovah's Witnesses Are NOT a Cult Calling Jehovah's Witnesses a "cult" in the common pejorative sense is just a biased ad hominem attack. It is just a simple minded method of prejudicing others so that they will not use their reasoning and look at the real facts. In actuality, Jehovah's Witnesses can PROVE that all their beliefs are from God's Word. And their only leader is Christ Jesus and they do not follow any human. On the other hand, other religions have proven that they have rejected Biblical teachings and they do not imitate Christ. Instead they follow human teachers. So these "mainstream" religions are more accurately described as "cults." The true Church would not be in the majority (Mt.7:13,14), but would be condemned as a "sect" and a "cult" (Ac.24:14; 28:22). A primary sign of a cult is that they want to isolate their members from outside information. Yet, to be a Witness you are REQUIRED TO talk to people of all religions, including ministers and scholars, who will challenge your beliefs and force you to continue to research your own beliefs and support them from the Bible. No Witness can escape being confronted by opposing arguments, anti-Witness accusations etc. Outside of the admonition to avoid hate literature, Jehovah's Witnesses are never asked to avoid talking to those who don't agree with them. However, other religions constantly discourage and outright tell their members not to talk to Jehovah's Witnesses. So who really deserve the "cult" description?!! On the other hand, how do other religions rate on the "mind control" issue? We are constantly faced with people of other religions who cannot explain their own beliefs, and know nothing about arguments against their doctrine. Cults cannot support their belief from the Bible and so the majority of their members always lack the ability to give evidence from the Scriptures. This is a good description of Christendom, but virtually EVERY Witness can give a Scriptural reason for what they believe. Another tool of cults is misrepresentation and avoidance of facts. Even when people of other religions are told to talk to us they are often encouraged to use emotive accusations rather then a discussion of Scriptural themes--such as dismissing others as a "cult." So Jehovah's Witnesses are not the ones using "mind control." And when it comes to "controlling" people both Catholics and Protestants tortured, burnt people. Today their main tactic is to keep their flock ignorant and use social pressures and prejudice. Therefore Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult! Through extensive study individual Jehovah's Witnesses have come to trust the accuracy of the information the Watchtower presents. Through experience they have proven that all True Christians are associated with Jehovah's Witnesses and this organization is the only one which gives solid evidence of being God's congregation. So, we do not blindly follow any organization but we also recognize those who give evidence of accurate Biblical teaching and are obedient to them (Heb.13:17,24; 1 Thes. 5:12; 1Cor.16:16) When we see how weak, unreasonable, illogical, and downright false these other opposing arguments and beliefs are then we are even more convinced that we have the Truth and are part of the Christ's True "Church" today (Dan.12:3; Mat.13:39-43). David Hume said: "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence." And this is what we should do when someone calls another religion a "cult" or "false prophets." All we have to do is quickly point out that other religions are willing to go shoot members of their own church in war, allow fornication, disagree on doctrine and even remove the Divine Name from God's Word, etc. All of these things result in God's curse upon anyone who makes common cause with such imitation Christians (Mat.15:7,8; 23:27; 1 Cor.6:9,10; Rm.1:24-32; Rev. 22:18,19).
@@ltbob8274 Do you need to tell that to the everyone if how many meetings Jehovah’s Witnesses will attend to in a week? Most of the time they meet at least twice a week. Don’t give that impression that they tackle those meetings individually each week. It doesn’t work like that. Like anyone else’s in this planet, they worked too and earning a living for their families. Even critics they’re one of the lowest paid. But they don’t care about those. What matters most to them is serving Jehovah. They kept serving Jehovah and following Christ’s instructions until this very moment all around the world. And you know what, think of what group have really made it to be totally global in terms of membership? Only the Jehovah’s Witnesses have done that. They have accomplished the mission of truly bringing the good news of the kingdom to all nations. Can you still remember that the survivors in the new system is being described as “from all nations?” Who fits that description now? Jehovah’s Witnesses do not complain. They just obey Christ’s instructions to them. Their obedience is Bible based principles, not as blind followers of the Governing Body as most critics tell the world. In fact, if one is considering himself / herself as Christ’s follower, this is the simply the same obedience Christ requires from each and everyone of us. But how come none of you is doing that for Christ? Are you not wondering who do you really follow? Unknowingly, you came into a situation where you are making your own reasonings from man’s point of view. You refused to follow Christ because of your “itching ears.” You made teachers out of yourselves with your own selfishness reasonings founded on mere human assumptions and point of view. Who placed that into your hearts? You knew already right? The Bible already warned everyone of us about that. Can you blame anyone out of your own shortfall of failings in front of Jehovah? Of course not. The true Witnesses of Jehovah never complained until today. They ate persecutions and attacks against them for their breakfast. You are all happy seeing them being banned one way or another in other countries because of their refusal to follow human governments and render military service. Yes, the better go to prison than try to kill their fellow humans anywhere in the world. Truly, anyone of you must be thankful for that. What actually you are doing? You laughed and ridiculed them. Who truly followed Christ now? Christ’s example can only be found among Jehovah’s people. Look at yourselves now, you are reasoning like the Pharisees in Christ’s time. They tried to go around sound biblical truth and replaced those with their own teachings and reasons. You cannot see that? You failed to do so because you tend to blame other people for your own personal shortcomings. Again, you don’t have any reason to blame these faithful Witnesses of Jehovah. Now take a look at yourselves and ask a question: “Who do you really follow?” Can you still blame Jehovah’s Witnesses? Of course, their rules is also biblical based and meant to safeguard faithful ones from the rest of the world. Do not try to reason otherwise. Nobody forces you to keep being one of them if you really wanted to leave. Don’t make over exaggerated claims on “shunning”. That’s overused and abused word already. For how many years now the so-called wokes and apostates been saying the organisation will soon collapse? Because the Witnesses are leaving in droves and blah blah blah? What happened? They grew to become more than 9 million now around the world. And there are more than 65,000 reinstated. What that tell you? Jehovah is the One making them grow. Jehovah is the one blessing them. In short, Jehovah is the One fighting for them and yet you don’t want to accept that. You kept blaming Jehovah’s Witnesses for your own failures. Are the meetings and conventions done as a burden to you? Of course not. It had a biblical purpose in itself. “To meet up together and encourage one another as you see the day coming.” But not everyone has that privilege to attend actually. Some of them cannot afford even the fares going to the venue. Did you know that? But at least, they knew in their hearts the true meanings and purpose of these activities. Now that you are out, why still keep saying it as if you are burdened with it? Look at the true and faithful Witnesses, they never do that. Again, for your own lacking in faith do not try to blame others for that. Even attacking Charles Taze Russell until today. Jehovah’s Witnesses knew that brother Russell grew up from a Presbyterian family. Did that have any bearing on his re-establishing the teachings and beliefs of the first century Christians? Of course not. It’s Jehovah who saw that potential in his heart. That Jehovah can make him a starting point for the continuation of the preaching works of the good news of the kingdom of God in modern times. If not because of Charles Taze Russell, there’s no Jehovah’s Witnesses today. Can you still not get it at how wonderful Jehovah is working to get the good news of the Kingdom be known to the entire planet? If you can stop for a moment and think for yourself, you will be able to realise that. Forget whatever accusations and claims critics are throwing against Charles Taze Russell. He is just one of those used by Jehovah for His own purpose. Try to have a look in the past how Jehovah used king Nebuchadnezzar and king Darius, etc; to fulfill His purpose, you cannot help it but be amazed that even those who truly are not truly God-believing kings and nation Jehovah can use to accomplish His purpose. All that you can only find within Jehovah’s organisation. Are you not amazed by just how truly wonderful Jehovah is working until today to carry out His purpose? That’s proof that there’s no other group Jehovah is truly blessing now to finish the job at hand. Being in the last days and nearly at the end times, it’s becoming even clearer that truly there’s no other true God in the universe aside from Jehovah. The God and Father of Jesus Christ. Yes, you should ask yourself now if you can still find another God aside from Jehovah? All religions and teachings now are already known. One way or another we knew the difference among these religions if the world. Some of you are even angry that the Witnesses are saying that they are the only ones to be saved in Harmageddon. Just think about it, will Jehovah save those who don’t even recognise Him? Who do you think haven’t heard about Jehovah now with all these preaching in the world? Yet they still say, Jehovah is fake, He doesn’t even exist for some. The name is an invention, etc. Now, if you are Jehovah, will you save those people? What about the people who left Him because they say they are wokes now? I don’t really know but it’s all up to Jehovah. But generally speaking, first and foremost, obviously it’s faithful Jehovah’s Witnesses will be saved first of all. Repeat it again, “faithful Witnesses”. That is why we are being told we should not judge. However, for those who have heard the preaching about Jehovah and yet ridicule Him, it’s pretty obvious right? Leaving Jehovah, where do you think you are going now? Obviously, nowhere else. You will be stuck for lack of faith on Jehovah. That’s the problem of some people, when they saw people committing mistakes, they blames others. No, nobody can do things for yourself so that you will be saved. Only you can do that for yourself. Not even your mother, father, brother, sister or whoever can do that for you. Only you can do it to yourself. All critics here don’t even have the same stance, the same religion, the same reasons or the same beliefs one way or another. Yet you are all united in attacking Jehovah’s Witnesses. Are you still not convinced who is behind you? Think about that.

Anytime someone claims to have a new spin on the core doctrines of what the bible teaches thousands of years after the cannon of scripture was established, it affirms God's warning in scripture that there are some who will pervert the gospel by preaching a different gospel than what the apostles preached, and that false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles; to say nothing of false prophecies which JW's have an extensive list. Your video was very well done and you were wise to stay away from their false prophecies.
So how do you think Jews felt whenever a man named Jesus of Nazareth claimed to be Son of Man? I’ve we only ever obeyed fundamentally origin teachings and never branched out we probably would not have a society that we have today that is more enlightened and educated. At least in the “academic” field
@@izrealtruefelicis3309 How do i think the Jews felt? Well, if it was a Jew that honored God's most important commandment in Deuteronomy, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy might", then that Jew would search the scriptures of the Tanakh(OT) to determine if this so called "Jesus" was truly the messiah prophesied to come and deliver their people. Jesus fulfilled so many prophecies written thousands of years prior with hundreds of eyewitnesses seeing the resurrected Christ, that Jesus being the Messiah spoken of in the Tanakh is undeniable. All but 1 of Jesus's apostles were martyred because of their faith. If all this was made up nonsense... my question is, why would all the apostles go to their death defending something they knew to be a lie? They wouldn't "branching out" from the basics in an academic/technological way for sure would yield positive changes. When it comes to "branching out" in matters of faith, the nature of the universe, and the very reason why we exist in the first place, is a scary thing. Because a perfect God already gave us his perfect revelation to live by. It comes down to this... The standard by which everything is measured against must be God's unperverted Word. if you branch out from the standard... then the standard can mean whatever you want it to mean. Jesus said, "Thy Word is truth". Isaiah 53 "He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. "

What did Jesus mean when he prayed to God and requested: (John 17:22) I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one. Here are some very important things that need to be mentioned. 1. The vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses do not participate in communion by eating of the bread and wine as Jesus instructed. Only those who feel they have a heavenly destiny do so. Since most are not expecting a heavenly resurrection, the Lord's meal celebration mostly involves just passing the bread and wine to everyone present without partaking. 2. Also, they believe that a person can lose God's favor if the person unrepentantly misbehaves. So salvation is dependent on their behavior as well as Jesus' Ransom Sacrifice. 3. Things once believed t have been true can suddenly be announced untrue if the governing Body pronounces them so. They refer to these new revelations as new light. 4. Shunning of a person who decides to leave the organization or disagrees with its teachings is mandatory regardless of family relationship. Association with such a person is considered as sharing in his sins. 5. JWS consider all other denominations identifying themselves as Christian to be Apostate and destined to be destroyed at the War of Armageddon along with the rest of Satan's earthly organizations. All other religions including Christendom, is understood to be represented in Revelation as he Great Harlot who rides the wild Beast which represent Satan's political systems on Earth. 6. You are expected to choose death over resorting to a blood transfusion.
The Bible does not explicitly state that souls are "vanished immediately and final" after death. However, there are several passages that address what happens after death, and different Christian traditions interpret them in various ways. Some verses suggest that the soul goes to a conscious existence in the afterlife, while others imply a state of unconsciousness or waiting. Here are a few key passages often discussed in relation to the state of the soul after death: 1. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 (NIV) "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun." This passage is sometimes interpreted to mean that after death, the dead are unconscious, unaware of anything happening on earth. 2. Psalm 146:4 (NIV) "When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing." This is another verse that some believe implies a cessation of conscious existence after death. 3. Luke 16:19-31 (The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus) This passage describes a conscious afterlife for both the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man, after death, is in torment, while Lazarus is comforted in Abraham's bosom. This suggests that the soul continues to exist and is conscious after death, rather than vanishing. However, it's important to note that this is a parable, and not all interpret it as a literal description of the afterlife. 4. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NIV) "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." In this passage, Paul uses the metaphor of "sleep" to describe death, but it also suggests an expectation of resurrection and the continuation of the soul's existence beyond death. 5. 2 Corinthians 5:8 (NIV) "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." This verse is often understood to mean that, upon death, the believer's soul goes to be with the Lord immediately. 6. Hebrews 9:27 (NIV) "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." This verse highlights the inevitability of judgment after death, but it does not suggest that souls are "vanished" immediately. Rather, it implies an ongoing existence beyond death, leading to judgment. Summary of Interpretations Soul's Consciousness After Death: Many passages suggest that the soul continues to exist after death, either in a state of rest or torment, awaiting the final resurrection and judgment. Unconscious State: Some verses, particularly in the Old Testament (e.g., Ecclesiastes), suggest a state of unconsciousness or non-awareness after death. Resurrection and Judgment: The New Testament often emphasizes resurrection and judgment, implying that death is not the end, but a transition to a new phase of existence. Ultimately, the belief that souls "vanish immediately and final" after death is not a universally accepted view within Christian theology. Many traditions hold that the soul continues to exist in some form, either awaiting resurrection or experiencing a conscious afterlife.

Although some of these facts are not aligned with my beliefs, its better than the alternative i suppose lmao. Great video
Im an ex-christian, or someone who just walked away. We don’t believe in 3 gods, just 1. Jesus and the holy spirit are more, for lack of better terms, different forms. It’s really weird, but it is just 1 god, not 3. Thats why you hear “the father, the son, and the holy spirit” all used together a lot. Edit: i completely read ur comment wrong lol sorry
We as Christians believe in a God who is 3 in 1 because that's what the Bible teaches in 1 John 5:7. There are three that bear witness in Heaven; the Father, the Word, and the Spirit, and they are One.
@@SoliderofAlllah What's confusing about it? Does it make sense for people with limited understanding to understand everything there is to know about God who has unlimited understanding? There is a reason the Bible says trust in the Lord and do not rely on your own understanding. If you rely on your own understanding instead of God's Word, the devil is going to deceive you, because our understanding is limited. God is on the outside of time and space therefore He's not subject to them. As a result He can exist in any way He chooses to reveal. That's why in the book of Genesis, He didn't say let me make man in my image and likeness, He said let us make man in our image in likeness. If God is not 3 in 1 then who else was He talking to, because people are only made in the image and likeness of God.
They’re good people but they’re misguided. My mom was in this when I was a kid. She returned to her original faith and was ruthlessly shunned by these people and by her own sister (who remained a JW). I sat in the school office during parties and I couldn’t have friends who were not in this religion. It broke my mom’s close relationship with her sister. They position themselves to become your only social network and call anyone who is not a JW “worldly”. If you break their rules, you are punished by losing your friends, family, and social network. I’d reckon many stay out of fear of losing these connections. I do not think God would approve of breaking up family connections over religious differences if both sides are good people. With that said, I knew them to be decent people who believe they’re doing right. They’re just misguided.
@@MandellhouseI don’t think god has a quota system. @@user9380 God is exemplary with numbers, and highly organised. The 144k is spelled out in Rev, or it may be symbolic, it doesn’t matter to us. Many Scriptures foretell that in the last days there would be a restoration of true worship and a global preaching work; it’s clear that JWs are humbly and obediently doing that; it’s a happy harvest. Read in context Isa 66;1,2 where God says he will be looking for a group of people who are contrite and obedient to his word in the last days, as his “footstool”. Daniel 12; 9,10 says that in the last days there would be a group of people who would understand the vital Kingdom prophecies. Jesus himself in Matthew 13 and other accounts foretells that he would go away a long time and come back at a time of harvest. It’s one of the signs of the last days that the global preaching of the ‘good news of the Kingdom’ would be done (Mt 24)… supervised by a symbolic ‘faithful slave’ uniquely in the time of the end. (Mt 24;45). The restoration has included the dropping of pagan beliefs and practices such as the trinity, hellfire, immortality of the soul, Christmas, Easter, etc. The resulting worldwide congregation is uniquely zealous, united, highly productive and peace-loving (read about the ‘purple triangles’, the 100+ legal precedents and victories in supreme courts relating to freedom of worship, and the only Christian religion that took no part in the massacres in Rwanda 1994.)
People who love their families more than Jesus cannot become a Christian. Matthew 10:37 Whoever has greater affection for father or mother than for me is not worthy of me; and whoever has greater affection for son or daughter than for me is not worthy of me. People have to make sacrifices when they become Disciples of Jesus. Namely, JWs.
People who pass judgement on others are assuming the role of God and are misguided at best and false Christians at worst. The JW church is built around control and based on a human interpretation of the Bible. I've seen it from the inside and outside. JWs are sorely misguided by a man who once named a religion after **himself** (the Russellites).
Yes, the Christian spiritual Temple described in chapters five through 10 in Hebrews shows the Most High God Jehovah as the only one in the innermost compartment, the Most Holy, whilst Jesus is the “high priest”
You can't call yourself Christian and just toss away central doctrine that doesn't fit your view. John 1:1 makes it pretty clear that the Son is divine. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." My sister, who has sadly passed away, was the most loving, caring person I have ever known. She would invite JWs (and anyone else canvassing her neighborhood) into her home, offer them a glass of sweet tea, and genuinely talk to them about their beliefs. The first thing she would always ask was, "Who is Jesus to you?" The answer to that simple question is the central tenet of the faith. People are free to believe as they wish. That's free will granted by our Heavenly Father, but don't call yourself Christian if you don't fit the definition. To deny the deity of Yeshua of Nazareth is to separate yourself from all of Christianity.
I think that belief is based on the doctrine of serving only one god- Jehovah, b'cos if you make Christ a deity the likelihood of worshipping him becomes eminent. If you believe in the doctrine of the trinity it'd be fine to flow with the divinity of Christ, but JWs don't believe in trinity.
That could be because she was a child of JWs. Christians are asked to be no part of this world (John 15:19). That is why JWs would rather go to jail that lift a gun to kill another human (Micah 4:3).

This was helpful the next time i get approached by a JW. I would like to honestly ask them...why they dont believe in the 'Trinity' - The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit! Them believe Christ was cruucified on a stake and not a cross....says it all about them!
the trinity wasnt a doctrine until 325 years after Jesus. The doctrine was not around or believed by the early Christians . Jesus never claimed to be greater than his father John 14:28 .. and he is sitting at the right hand of his father until the time comes to judge the earth Romans 8:34 .. The bible says in James 1:13 God cannot be tempted.. JESUS was tempted .. If you google the origin of the cross and do a study from it.. you will find the truth.. The holy spirit is Gods power not a indivisual .. and if it was a person.. why doesnt the Holy spirit have a name.. Gods name is Jehovah..Jesus name is Jesus .. but no name for the holy spirit.. WHy.. dont make sense... Jesus name means.. JEHOVAH IS SALVATION .. the bible says that God would call out a people for his name.. Thus why Jehovahs Wittnesses.. I would love to answer any questions you have
I am not a Jehovah’s Witness. But I do not believe in the trinity. Even Trinitarian teachers don’t know how to explain it. The trinity says Jesus is co-equal with God the father. So here are 2 questions. Why would Jesus use a father son relationship to explain his association with this being. And question 2. Why would Jesus hand over the kingdom to his father after he has accomplished his goal set out by the one who sent him. John 20:17 (NIV) Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ” 1 Corinthians 15:24 (NIV) Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28 (NIV) 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. ruclips.net/video/1FUQ_awpLdk/видео.htmlsi=SbROzNSTrTnRM9h_
The ‘cross’ is pagan; read the book ‘ history of the Cross’ by Henry Dana Ward… it’s part of sun worship. The Bible uses the word ‘stauros’ for the device Jesus died on. Look it up anywhere…. the word means ‘stave’, pole, stake, fence post. The Romans used many methods of death, and sometimes hung thousands of people on one day; they wouldn’t have wasted trees by using two for each person. Interestingly, two used iron nails were found in the ossuary of the actual high priest in Jerusalem, Caiaphas.

To any Jehovah witness on this site, the word hell in Greek does not mean the grave you don’t speak Greek it means Hades it’s an underworld holding place for spirits
Matthew 5:22: "....whoever shall say, 'You fool', shall be guilty enough to go into Gehenna." Matthew 5:29: "....it is better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to be thrown into Gehenna." Matthew 5:30: "....better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to go into Gehenna." Matthew 10:28: "....rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul [Greek: ψυχή] and body in Gehenna." Matthew 18:9: "It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than with two eyes to be thrown into the Gehenna...." Matthew 23:15: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you... make one proselyte...twice as much a child of Gehenna as yourselves." Matthew 23:33, to the Pharisees: "You serpents, you brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of Gehenna?" Mark 9:43: "It is better for you to enter life crippled, than having your two hands, to go into Gehenna into the unquenchable fire." Mark 9:45: "It is better for you to enter life lame, than having your two feet, to be cast into Gehenna." Mark 9:47: "It is better for you to enter the Kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into Gehenna." Luke 12:5: "....fear the One who, after He has killed has authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, fear Him." James 3:6: "And the tongue is a fire,...and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by Gehenna."
First of all in the Bible, there are two places there is 2. Hades, which is hell 3. Second place is the lake of fire These are two separate and distinct places, read revelation, 20 or 21 Where God at the great white throne judgment day 1000 years after Jesus has ruled on this earth performs his judgment he brings up hell and death, a separate place i.e. and cast it into the lake of fire the second place I’m not a Jehovah witness I’m a Christian and I believe Jehovah witnesses are a cult and you are brainwashed. I love you all if you have any more questions, I am here to answer them with the verses from the Bible.
As to John 17:3. If Jesus' reference to the Father as "the only true God" were meant to exclude the Son from deity, then the same principle of interpretation would have to apply to Jude 1:4 where Jesus Christ is called "our only Owner and Lord" (NWT). This would have to exclude the Father from Lordship and ownership. Yet, JW speak of the Father as "the Lord Jehovah," even though Jude 4 calls Jesus our "only" Lord. And the Holy Spirit is called "Lord" at 2 Corinthians 3:17. Obviously, then, neither use of the word "only" is exclusive with reference to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus' being called our "only" Lord does not rule out the Lordship of the Father and the Holy Spirit and the Father's being called the "only" true God does not exclude the Son and the Holy Spirit from deity.

The Christian heretical group known as the Gnostics went to the intellectual center of the world at that time: Alexandria, Egypt. They believed that everything of the spirit was good and everything of the flesh was evil. So when they started to copy the Bible and got to 1 Timiothy 3:16 where it said that God was manifest in the flesh, they reasoned "How can God, being a spirit and good be manifest in the flesh?" So instead of changing their beliefs, they changed the scripture instead. They produced the false New Testament Bibles. There is no mystery of godliness if this refers to Jesus Christ. It's very simple actually but it takes years eventually to figure out their use of psychology. At least it did for me with my brother having been the alpha male amongst the elders. Manipulation is the key element. He and his wife behaving as if they are the King and Queen of their congregation. Believing to be so superior within their faith and dominating every one in a very militant way. But not only with biblical matters but also everything in general. They know better than everybody else. Many have left to go to another congregation elsewhere to escape their suffocating practices and they don't even care because it's only them that matters. However I have changed tactics and have stood before my brother on several occasions now and looked into his eyes, with a grin. No words exchanged. The spell is broken. They are made in the image of God as well, and we need to be able to discuss it with each other. Thank you!🙏☺️
Please read the Bible. Did the first century Christians go around trying to convince people that Jesus was God? Or did they preach the good news about God's Kingdom? Matthew 10:7 As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’ What do JWs preach? Read Matthew 24:14.
@@jimjuri6490 They already knew that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). They preached the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ in order to be saved (1 Cor. 15:1-5).
@@vadouis-rt3of :Who knew that Jesus was God? Jesus' DISCIPLES? Paul clearly states that Jesus was an ANGEL. Twisting some verse of Paul's cannot change that fact. (1 Timothy 3:16) Indeed, the sacred secret of this godly devotion is admittedly great: ‘He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, appeared to angels, was preached about among nations, was believed upon in the world, was received up in glory.’ This is talking about Jesus and NOT God. How can God be declared righteous? By whom? How did God appear to angels? Is this following simple statement so repugnant to accept. 'No man has SEEN God at ANY TIME.' - 1 John 4:12. Twisting some scripture to make Jesus into God cannot override this simple TRUTH. Jesus was NEVER God. Not at ANY TIME. With no malice intent. If people do not know who a son is, they should not live in a real world.
@@jimjuri6490 The first century heretical group were the Gnostics. They believed that every thing of the flesh is evil and everything of the spirit is good. So when they started to translate the Bible and they got to 1 Timothy 3:16, where it stated "God was manifest in the flesh," they reasoned how can God, being a spirit and good be manifest in the flesh, which is evil?" So instead of changing their beliefs, they decided to change the Bible. And there you have the beginning of the corrupt Bible being printed. In Isaiah 6:1>In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. God's forming man and animals out of the dust and Eve out of Adam's rib indicates the visible presence of God in the days of re-creation. (Gen 2:7, 19-25). According to Gen 2:21, the Lord God "took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof," which would surely require His presence with Adam at that time.
@@jimjuri6490 Adam and Eve saw God in visible form after they had sinned, and hid themselves from Him, "amongst the trees of the garden" because "they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden." (Geen 3:18-19). They could not hide behind a tree from God in His invisible presence which is everywhere.
That was very helpful, I was recently handed a mormon newspaper. So thank you for enlightening me! I feel a bit more confident know in addressing them.
It's very unfortunate, but the adherents to the modern day evolved version of this religion, do not generally know any details of what was printed by this religion in the first decades it existed. For example if you were to mention the years 1914, 1918, 1919, 1925, 1941, and lastly 1975, they would not be able to describe to you what their printed literature was intimating or fortelling would take place to the public who were purchasing their magazines and literature at the time. All these years had very specific expectations of the end of the world, or as they like to describe with terminology such as "Armageddon", "The last days", or "The great tribulation". Unfortunately they have a long track record of giving private interpretation of scripture, and their Greek interlinear, does not agree with the translation that they have selected in multiple places. Another interesting fact about this religion, is that they claim to be the only religion that possesses the "Truth", or perhaps you could say correct understanding of the Bible. Unfortunately the rank and file do not stop to think whether or not any God would ever lead their servants to such extremely false predictions. If there are any Jehovah's witnesses reading my review of this video, I strongly recommend that they read their own literature from those time periods. And make up their mind for themselves. You are literally only a Google search away from finding out what is reality and what is false. Recommended reading could start with "The finished mystery", You can find many digitally scanned copies of this book from many different library systems within the US and Canada, or on websites that are linked to the library systems. It's not difficult, and it's free. In these days and times, in the age of the internet, there is truly no longer any excuse for ignorance. Ignorance is now a choice. Ignoring the facts is also a choice. Sadly, most Jehovah's witnesses would be unwilling to read their own literature from those time periods, because they have been told by their leaders to not read those things. 💯💯💯❣️
Getting expectations wrong is a mark of Jesus' True Disciples. See Acts 1:6. Others ridicule Jesus' disciples on this fact. (2 Peter 3:3, 4) First of all know this, that IN THE LAST DAYS ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “WHERE IS THIS PROMISED PRESENCE OF HIS? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.” Who is ridiculing whom?
@@jimjuri6490 only a person who believes in this particular sect of Christianity would attempt to defend them, so I will ask if you are a current member of this religion? Please understand that most people watching this video consider themselves to be Christian, you on the other hand as a believing Jehovah's witness teach that all other religions, including ones who strongly believe in Jesus, are not Christian at all. That is what you teach if you are a Jehovah's witness. I want everyone reading this to know that is what you believe. You believe that they are not Christian, even though they strongly believe in Jesus. Can you justify that? Of course not. In any case. My challenge still remains to all active believing Jehovah's witnesses, have you read the book that your religion printed and produced and sold to people enmass during the early 1900s, "The Finished Mystery"??? If you have not read this book, do you really have room to scrutinize or criticize what I stated? After you have read that book, perhaps then you can come back and make a comment. Most informative! I'm a Christian and have evangelized to JW. I knew primarily that they didn't believe in the trinity, and that they had additional books or literature that they likewise studied. I never knew the rest of the points mentioned in the video. It's a complete cult w/o a doubt!
@larysnw418 You prove my point that JW sect is a cult. How is that, according to you, they're the only ones who "evangelize"? I, as a Christian, go out an evangelize, both in person and online. When we evangelize, we share the gospel of Christ. We don't affirm a relgion, for that was NOT what Jesus Christ taught nor did He specify to follow a specific religion. Humanity creates religion and sects. I've had one singular pair of older men once knock on my door that were JW. They were unable to explain to me their own doctrine and I had to correct them on various points they were making, starting with not adding books to the Bible which we know is wrong to do, according to what the Apostle John said in the Book of Revelation. The Roman Catholic Church believe and affirm that they're the correct and "holy" church of God. Why should people believe JW over them? It's the same nonsensical, brainwashing ideology that is presented in all religions. Religion does NOT save, only Jesus Christ can. To distinguish which ministry or church truly follows God, you have to review the doctrine they teach and what JW teach is antibiblical. So, how then do you conclude that they're right? It doesn't make sense. The Bible verses you shared don't actually tell me anything to support your position. Most especially to a Christian like me who DOES evangelize. If JW go around knocking from door to door to share twisted doctrine, how does the edifiy? Even if they spoke the truth, does their work save them? If your conclusion is that b/c they go out and preach that makes the real one, you're sorely mistaken! In other words, which I rarely express in this manner but fits here in this discussion: get off your high horse, JW are not the only ones who go out to preach. And, more importantly, they're not the one's preaching truth. Frankly stated, JW don't evangelize. They're brainwashed into thinking they do, but seek to indoctrinate, by teaching doctrines and commandments of men as their version of the gospel. Truly, you haven't realized it?
@larysnw418 If all scripture is breathed of God and we both agree that the Word of God is the standard by which everything is measured, why have Jehovah’s Witnesses changed the standard in the NWT? Rather than conforming their beliefs to Scripture, they have changed Scripture to conform with their beliefs. The New World Translation is unique in one thing - it is the first intentional, systematic effort at producing a complete version of the Bible that is edited and revised for the specific purpose of agreeing with a group’s doctrine. I could cite example after example that change core doctrines of the faith that the apostles held to, and i won't even go into the many false prophecies where soon after lots of JW's left because they recognized the falsehood. The most widely used Bible translations; KJV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, NIV have a range of 50 to 130 Bible scholars that worked for years with sometimes up to 16 translators per translation, having the main goal of bringing the original manuscripts to English while preserving the accuracy of the original texts. Sadly, and this documented, the JW organization had a total of just 4 people documented involved in their own translation. Former members of the Governing Body of the JW organization have identified the members of the committee as Nathan H. Knorr, Frederick W. Franz (being the principal translator), George D. Gangas, and Albert D. Schroeder. There is a reason why the most credible bible websites in the world do not even offer the JW bible as an option to read on their website, because bible scholars that know greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic do not view it as credible. The standard by which everything is measured against must be the unchanged Word of God.
@larysnw418 As to Matt. 6:9, Jesus taught his disciples to pray to "our Father," not to Jehovah God. He said "You must pray, then, this way: 'Our Father.'
@larysnw418 The point is that Jesus Christ never called His Father "Jehovah." JW's claim that they are the true religion and one of those reasons is that they used the name Jehovah in referring to the Father. Yet, Jesus Christ, whom true believers follow, never did that. Understand?
@vadouis-rt3of Yk ppl discovered the name "YHWH" which has no vowels and only consonant words? I advise you to research that and find out why we call our God "Jehovah" because people translated it to "Yahweh" which equaled to jehovah. Is Yahweh and Jehovah the same? Its preface states: "the distinctive Hebrew name for God (usually transliterated Jehovah or Yahweh) is in this translation represented by 'The Lord'. Your correct Jesus never called his father "Jehovah" but in his time people discovered the name "YHWH" and did deep research to find its vowels and to translate it. Which they found the name "YAHWEH" .

Jehovah's Witnesses Are NOT a Cult
Calling Jehovah's Witnesses a "cult" in the common pejorative sense is just a biased ad hominem attack.
So these "mainstream" religions are more accurately described as "cults."
The true Church would not be in the majority (Mt.7:13,14), but would be condemned as a "sect" and a "cult" (Ac.24:14; 28:22).
Even when people of other religions are told to talk to us they are often encouraged to use emotive accusations rather then a discussion of Scriptural themes--such as dismissing others as a "cult." So Jehovah's Witnesses are not the ones using "mind control."
And when it comes to "controlling" people both Catholics and Protestants tortured, burnt people.
5:12; 1Cor.16:16)
When we see how weak, unreasonable, illogical, and downright false these other opposing arguments and beliefs are then we are even more convinced that we have the Truth and are part of the Christ's True "Church" today (Dan.12:3; Mat.13:39-43).
David Hume said: "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence." And this is what we should do when someone calls another religion a "cult" or "false prophets."
All we have to do is quickly point out that other religions are willing to go shoot members of their own church in war, allow fornication, disagree on doctrine and even remove the Divine Name from God's Word, etc. All of these things result in God's curse upon anyone who makes common cause with such imitation Christians (Mat.15:7,8; 23:27; 1 Cor.6:9,10; Rm.1:24-32; Rev. 22:18,19).
May you be at peace and free from the suffering
Now take a look at yourselves and ask a question: “Who do you really follow?”
Can you still blame Jehovah’s Witnesses?
It’s ok buddy let it go already, you are in control of your own destiny.

@@izrealtruefelicis3309
How do i think the Jews felt? They wouldn't
"branching out" from the basics in an academic/technological way for sure would yield positive changes.

What did Jesus mean when he prayed to God and requested:

All Jesus' True Disciples being ONE. Surely, a person cannot claim to be a Christian and not be one with other Christians in beliefs and actions.
The question is 'Who is Jesus' ONE UNITED body of FOLLOWERS today? They should be actively fulfilling Matthew 24:14.
Christ unites when man concedes and accepts John 14:6. Man inevitably, through arrogance or ignorance or a combination of both, divides the body of believers through traditions, cultures, and human errors. By avoiding semantic wars, denominational disputes, and adhering to the KJV, it is possible for ALL believers to worship as one. Godspeed pilgrim.

Good explanation.
Here are a few key passages often discussed in relation to the state of the soul after death:
1. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 (NIV)
"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun."
This passage is sometimes interpreted to mean that after death, the dead are unconscious, unaware of anything happening on earth.
2. Psalm 146:4 (NIV)
"When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing."
This is another verse that some believe implies a cessation of conscious existence after death.
3. Luke 16:19-31 (The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus)
This passage describes a conscious afterlife for both the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man, after death, is in torment, while Lazarus is comforted in Abraham's bosom. This suggests that the soul continues to exist and is conscious after death, rather than vanishing.
However, it's important to note that this is a parable, and not all interpret it as a literal description of the afterlife.
4. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NIV)
"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."
In this passage, Paul uses the metaphor of "sleep" to describe death, but it also suggests an expectation of resurrection and the continuation of the soul's existence beyond death.
5. 2 Corinthians 5:8 (NIV)
"We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."
This verse is often understood to mean that, upon death, the believer's soul goes to be with the Lord immediately.
6. Hebrews 9:27 (NIV)
"Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment."
This verse highlights the inevitability of judgment after death, but it does not suggest that souls are "vanished" immediately. Rather, it implies an ongoing existence beyond death, leading to judgment.
Summary of Interpretations
Soul's Consciousness After Death: Many passages suggest that the soul continues to exist after death, either in a state of rest or torment, awaiting the final resurrection and judgment.

The only ones who are shunned are non-household apostates. Every effort is made to help all to be restored and happy.

Jesus please reach as many J.Ws as possible! These people are searching for spiritual truth and most and adopted from a young age in believing a false gospel.
This was helpful the next time i get approached by a JW. I would like to honestly ask them...why they dont believe in the 'Trinity' - The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit! Them believe Christ was cruucified on a stake and not a cross....says it all about them!
Glad it was helpful!
the trinity wasnt a doctrine until 325 years after Jesus. I would love to answer any questions you have
JWs believe more in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit than any Trinitarian. I suggest you discuss it with them.
Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
1 Corinthians 15:24 (NIV) Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

Yeah but what's Gehenna?
Whats the Lake of Fire Jesus is actually talking about when he says hell?
Jesus is not saying "Hades."
Matthew 5:22: "....whoever shall say, 'You fool', shall be guilty enough to go into Gehenna."
Matthew 5:29: "....it is better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to be thrown into Gehenna."
Matthew 5:30: "....better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to go into Gehenna."
Matthew 10:28: "....rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul [Greek: ψυχή] and body in Gehenna."
Matthew 18:9: "It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than with two eyes to be thrown into the Gehenna...."
Matthew 23:15: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you... make one proselyte...twice as much a child of Gehenna as yourselves."
Matthew 23:33, to the Pharisees: "You serpents, you brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of Gehenna?"
Mark 9:43: "It is better for you to enter life crippled, than having your two hands, to go into Gehenna into the unquenchable fire."
Mark 9:45: "It is better for you to enter life lame, than having your two feet, to be cast into Gehenna."
Mark 9:47: "It is better for you to enter the Kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into Gehenna."
Luke 12:5: "....fear the One who, after He has killed has authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, fear Him."
James 3:6: "And the tongue is a fire,...and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by Gehenna."
First of all in the Bible, there are two places there is
2. Hades, which is hell
3. Second place is the lake of fire
These are two separate and distinct places, read revelation, 20 or 21
Where God at the great white throne judgment day 1000 years after Jesus has ruled on this earth performs his judgment he brings up hell and death, a separate place i.e. and cast it into the lake of fire the second place
I’m not a Jehovah witness I’m a Christian and I believe Jehovah witnesses are a cult and you are brainwashed. I love you all if you have any more questions, I am here to answer them with the verses from the Bible.

And then the second eldest son kills his wife and is in jail. You would think that would have humbled the parents who always told other fellow Christians they didn't know how to raise their children in the correct Christian way!!!! But it didn't it only motivates them to keep on acting more in the same way. I was told he gave up his "Position " as an elder because of his son but I'm sure that is only a temporary measure. I have left this "sect" in 1980. Enduring their dirty looks all these years for a long time. My brother is also 20 years older. However I have changed tactics and have stood before my brother on several occasions now and looked into his eyes, with a grin. No words exchanged. The spell is broken. Faith and their use of the bible is just a tool. It's a Power Game. The objective is to control your mind and your money through donations or through obtaining people's wills at death. And free will???? You gave that up the day you followed their policies and told you how to be a Jehovah's Witness. From then on it's brainwashing, giving up your individuality and any critical thinking that a person should always rely upon in life. They are false Prophets since Charles Russell instigated them 140 years ago
Wouldn't the brainwashing be applied to those who are made to believe that an IMMORTAL God whom no human can SEE and continue to live on (Exodus 33:20) managed to change his form and got himself killed by his own creation? Thereby losing his immortality forever?

Did you mean a Jehovah's Witness newspaper like the Watch Tower? Mormons don't have a newspaper, but they have other publications.
Ignoring the facts is also a choice. Sadly, most Jehovah's witnesses would be unwilling to read their own literature from those time periods, because they have been told by their leaders to not read those things. 💯💯💯❣️

EVERY single person who ever lived will be a witness to our Almighty God so using that name is stupid and taking the Lord name in vein..DO THEY THINK ONLY THEY WILL BE WITNESSES..KINDOM HALL..WHOS KINDOM HALL..OUR SAVIOR SAID MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD..THEY ALSO CHANGED THE HOLY SCRIPTURES..
Jesus Christ is NO a creation of God. The Trinity is pre-existent and eternal.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 8:58
Amen!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." (John 1:1-3).
