Actually, they are available open stock. I have bought one pencil from my local art shop to try out.

Really ? Do you mean the base charcoal like light , medium and dark / white or the actual colored tinted charcoals like sunset pink and sand ? Cause as far as I know they are not available open stock anywhere ...

Thanks for the review. I recently got this set at a clearance sale for $15. Could you please make some more tutorials using this set? Again, thank you very much for your review, it's very helpful.

Thank you sooooo much for this video because I was searching for the answer which I found in this video, like if I have pastel pencils then do I need to buy these. The bunnies are so beautiful. God bless and lots of love from India 😊

I'm curious why you chose not to activate them with water. The color saturation once they are activated is more intense and excellent for underpainting. Was your subject choice why you didn't use water with them?

Excellent question. Yes in part it was because I didn't need to wet them for this drawing but also , this paper really can't handle that technique. I did however use fixative to lock layers down and keep building.

@Nicole Martin Art Thank you. I'm self-taught and love using various pencil mediums. It helps me to know why artists make technique choices.

You may have had to work hard at those rabbits, but the result was well worth the effort!
