It is different in that you choose whether you want a minion or a spell, which adds a bit strategy to the brawl and make it better in general.
In addition you are able to play multiple Raven Idols on one turn. So it would be quite different.

I'm running it in the basic combo shell and it's been doing some work. It's power lies in allowing you to adapt to different situations, getting a Starfall against a Paladin for example.
That druid vs druid game was so good! Most interesting arena game ever, especially when than molten and healbot came down..
I love discover cards they not only give you new answers to the match but let you choose the best option so much better than unstable portal into wisp
You can never escape the druid combo. Nowhere is safe.
Is explosive sheep + poison seeds a full removal?

+DatGuyWithNoName I think it's not. Poison Seeds kills the sheep, deathrattle triggers, then they get replaced. But I'm not quite sure.

+DatGuyWithNoName its one of the very few exceptions that actually resolves deaths halfway through the card effect, exactly to prevent these kinds of interactions. The other similar exceptions are Mimiron's Head and Reincarnate, IIRC. With the rest of the cards the deathrattles wouldn't trigger until card text has fully resolved.

It's a swipe when you need one, it's a taunt when you need one, it's a cheap minion for early game when you need one... it's excellent !
The white shroud is so subtle in white, but works really well I think.
Sure, I know to notice it because I watched the twitch VOD from when it was being discussed/teased.
Sorry to the misses, but the red's bugged me so far for basic cards, the white/blue/purple & orange have been great, but FOR ME the red's not been great, but I'll learn to deal with it if you choose to stick with it.

I have not put any money into the game, but this makes me want to buy LoE. I discovered this card last week in one of my first arena runs and really want it in my constructed deck.
Sometimes you need a swipe or starfall to not die and choosing spell can be pretty good there.
He didn't say never take spell (he takes spell a few minutes later) it just wasn't good there.

yo i had two during an arena run, in two games i got the savage roar combo and it was epic
Yo Kripp, I think you should do a revisit on how good is shadow form. I saw a really good deck in a Kibler vid the other day and have had a blast climbing ladder with it. People always think of aggro priest when they play shadow form but it actually works really well with heavy control and strong inspire cards like tournament medic and stampeding kodo.
+SgtBallsworth Saw that video as well and Trump lost to the deck in his stream recently, seems like an awesome deck. However I can't recall Kripp covering any older cards on his videos, so I don't think he's going to do it.
+R0DisG0D He has occasionally revisited cards if it's been enough time and new content to warrant it. It certainly doesn't happen often, but in his shadowform vid he really only talked about it in arena because TGT wasnt out yet and there werent any shadow decks out that were innovative like this one was, just aggro priest

So kripp basically says that Raven Idol is a placeholder card because it can basically be any minion or any spell in your class.

Raven Idol works in Astral Communion Druid. But it doesn't matter, because Druid is completely binary and only works with Force Savage.

I LOVE this card, saved my ass soooooooooo many times in arena and gave me letal a lot of times as well, not to say i'm pretty lucky at finding minions, got Sylvannas 3 times.
It just my impression, but it got easier to get Legendary Minions in Arena? 4 out 5 i got at least one and in oneArena i draft 3 legendarys

+Denis Cavalcanti Martins There is no way. Sites like HearthArena would pick up on this fairly quickly if it were actually happening. What's really going on is that you're been getting very lucky lately. Many people are going to get really lucky all of a sudden because there are just so many players. To those lucky people, like you, it's going to seem like something's up. Plus everyone who sees your comment is going to check their memory for times they got legendaries, and that alone will make them agree with you (confirmation bias).

The spell is 100 times better than the minion side! This is super good in constucted if you only use the spell side. Its like Ethereal conjurer. Its really high chanses to get like swipe or a hard removal. :O
