Twisting Nether should be Silence, and then destroy all minions.
This would've balanced the meta so well back when Naxx or GvG was released.
+Dreamchime Or return to your hand.
***** You're sucking the minions into another dimension, not your hand though :P
Dreamchime no; i meant the card returns to your hand, like the rogue legendary
+codebracker then how would you win? no minions=no damage. maby return to your deck?
Is it just me or is Kripparrian slowly turning into Wario?
it's just you. are you sure you aren't high?
Now someone is gonna make a Wariorino Kripperino account
+Sylvanas Windrunner More like Waluigi tbh
it's just you. are you sure you aren't high?
it's just you. are you sure you aren't high?
You can clear the board with murlocs,
or just go face and win
+Murlerino Kripperino Wise words my friends also you can use unleash for more face damage
Is it possible for you to add Kripparrian's mustache and beard to that murloc?
+Huk6 maybe, I tried it 2 month ago, and it looked horrible, but I can try it again
+Murlerino Kripperino maybe try with a different murloc?
+casimiro picazo hmm ok
Boarderrinno Clearrino...
lol I'm a sub :)
+Hearthstone Plays boarderrinno clearrino kripperino. PogChamp
Board clears are really good ... unlike this comment section.

+DJ Khalerino Kripperino xDDDD
OMG LOOOOOOL
+DJ Khalerino Kripperino Omg! U genius.
Another one!
+DJ Khalerino Kripperino waited for u so long
I am the best board clear in game!!! Just Magma Rager Shadowflame for 7 mana 5 damage to all enemy minions. Thats even better than flamestrike and we all know flamestrike is op (even in arena).
But the poor magmarager dies!
TheTomlav We don't die, we respawn
TheTomlav no you may think that I die, but actually I will survive
+MagmaRagerino Kripperino Pretty sound argument, well made !
+MagmaRagerino Kripperino costs 2 cards though
And I need better donuts! Seriously Kripp, you should invest more money on my food. I work really hard to keep your comment section clear, but all I get back from you is a shitty donut once a day!
+Coperino Kripperino AKA Copperino Kripperino If your playing Simpsons Tapped Out, that could be a good thing.
+Coperino Kripperino AKA Copperino Kripperino ACAB
5:20
That was fast
On point.
+Murlerino Kripperino too fast....
+Skipperino Kripperino Do you love me daddy ?

"How good is Coliseum Manager? - DAY 5
+Danilo Kastratovic It's been 5 days now
No! It's how good is brawl!
+Danilo Kastratovic change your name to managerino kripperino
Brawl is pure RNG, how good is brawl would just be a game of luck. But what about the WORST CARD IN HEARTHSTONE (Coliseum Manager). That's a challenge.
Sebastian Hernandez sounds good, maybe, but I don't want to be .... one of them.
GET DOWN!!!
Thanks, literally saved my life
Thanks dude don't worry, my redemption will help you too :)
I had sword of justice and it was just a spectral spider, your safe...
+Defender Where were you when the Mage cast double Fireball on my face? :(
+Defender A Ha HA! I live!
Shaman Card: Shockwave
6 mana
Silence all Enemy Minions, then destroy them.
Overload: 3
I really like this idea
just a little op
way too OP. Make it silence + destroy ALL minions, that would be pretty good. with 6 mana, you could still have mana left to play something else in the late game.
stun all minions, then destroy them at the start of your next turn. There, more possibilities, less op
6 mana silence all enemy minion then deal 4-5 damage to them (overload 2) seems the most balanced and shaman related.
His kripps are sweaty, kripp weak, kripps are heavy
There's kripp on his sweater already, kripp's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks kripp and ready to drop kripps,
But he keeps on forgetting what he wrote down,
The whole kripp goes so loud
He opens his kripp, but the kripps won't come out
He's choking how, every kripp's joking now
The kripps run out, time's up, over, wow!
How about a Face Cleaner SMOrc
How about a Weeb Cleaner DansGame
Ryan DeGraw PogChamp
Kripperino cleaner would help my job a lot!
+Coperino Kripperino AKA Copperino Kripperino Never !
+Ryan DeGraw
She isn't from an anime. Failfish
I am saying that since Naxx, but no one is listening...
Well, this IS his 1337th video.
Arbyz1 Leet
+L0LWTF1337 I did a reddit thread about how can we make board clears better, and got shit on, oh well reddit
Warrior needs a better board clear than whirlwind and bouncing blade.
Brawl???
They do have brawl though
+Brodo Faggins *sigh* I always forget that's a card, and now I look like an idiot.
+Huk6 it happens. Everyone overlooks something from time to time
Ryan DeGraw The thing is that I always over look it. Every time I list off every board clear in my head, I always remember brawl ten minutes after I listed all of them.
At 24:37 "doom for everyone, gifts for all"! Gave me a chuckle
We need something like "remove from game"
Forever
+OrdoMallius Yeah, Yugioh totally had the right idea on that...it just went back on it and had alot of ways to actully bring those "removed from play" cards WTF!??!
+Giga Phoenix It was called "banish". A pretty cool mechanic, used to be my favourite back in the day.
+Alex T
still is my favorite
Same. I was refereeing to me not playing anymore. I used to run a macro control deck.
I totally agree with you Kripp. Just wondering if u think all classes should be able to have board clear potential or only the more controlling classes?
in magic you also have siege rhino, would that same body/ability/cmc be op in hearth?
The presents brawl was so much fun. My favorite so far, closely followed by mechazod, with a decent ally.
The present brawl was my favorite actually. I built a warrior deck that went 20 and 1, literally. And every game was basically like that one. You just constantly take board clears and hoard all the presents and you'll win eventually. And that style also makes youthful really good.
In yugioh there's a card called "Dark Hole" that does what Twisting nether does and it costs 0 and you can run 3
And there's Raigeki that destroys only enemy minions and it costs 0 and you can run (1).
arent those banned for ages now?
+MrThaumaturgical it's a shame both suck, since everything floats/is a pendulum monster
+Alex GoesNuts nah they came back cuz the whole game changed
+Matthew Day yeah the game just aint the same no mo
+MrThaumaturgical You are talking about a TCG that has essentially 0 costs on cards. Yugioh's a broken mess of a game with the worst price tag it's had in a long time, a constantly changing meta [making it even more expensive since the quicker banlists] and a quickly declining playerbase.
Konami. Destroying everything one product at a time
"in magic you can have much more than 10 mana" even though you can with ramp decks it is quite unlikely with every other deck. slowest competitive format in mtg is sealed afaik and even there you are not super likely to have more than 10 mana in a game.
the way you worded it sounded like "oh and there is hearthstone where you can just play a 6 drop on turn 1"
+soulseek2 Actually it is likely to have 10 mana in a game nowadays. Modern has Tron and Legacy has combo decks which produce infinite mana and kill you with it obviously. Ulamogg costs 10 and is hard casted nowadays.
But anyway the HS boardclears are really bad compared to MTG and MTG often needs a Wrath of God-esque card in the format to keep aggro in check, else people get overrun by T4-5, though they changed the Wrath of God cost to 5 in recent years, because T4 was to early for a board wipe.
But seriously, Flamestrike could be a mana cheaper without being OP, for example
+soulseek2 Modern Tron and Legacy Twelvepost would like to have a word with you about that, mate. :3
+Aspartem BS those are the exceptions, modern pretty much ends at turn 4 and that is 4 may be 5 mana.
+Vader Skywalker That is a very broad generalization, though. From watching a lot of both Modern and Legacy, this is what the deal is:
You cannot play a deck and NOT expect to be killed by turn 4 in modern, or turn 2 in Legacy. Because, if you should be realistic, you will be. Several times.
HOWEVER, in actual games, a lot of variables adds to games taking way longer than that, like when you see, let's say, Legacy Miracles vs Legacy Merfolk. The match will oftenly stretch rather long (for legacy), and Miracles can end up with 10 lands without it being To weird.
In modern, something like a Delver mirror can take a Really long time (once again, for modern), since both players got pretty much optimal answers for eachother, and, well, landdrops will keep happening.
I'm not saying that Modern or Legacy are formats where you can easily go for playing 6+ mana spells, because they ain't (except for stuff like Tron, Twelvepost, MUD, Elfs), however, saying you won't reach that mana in those formats quite oftenly isn't true either. It does happen, and it happens more oftenly than one would think from hearing about Storm or Dredgedecks in Legacy. Oh, and especially now, in modern, when Splitertwin got banned!
Vader Skywalker
Tron is an exception in modern? It's the most played Deck next to Affinity and SplinterTwin and Twin has been banned recently, so it's to be expected to rise in % of the playing field.
Also Bloom got banned so it won't take over.
Yes, not every deck will have it, but being in a game where one player reaches that amount of mana is definitly no exception in eternal formats.
And Legacy always had infinite combos.
Also you're not telling me anything new, i am actively playing MTG since more than 10 years, thank you.
its been a few weeks since ive graced this channel with a view and man the Kripperinos are stronger than ever
i really enjoyed your video where you came up with your own card ideas to improve shaman as a class. Same goes with the legendary card ideas or how to fix cards that are too strong or too weak in the current game state. I hope in the future there will be more content with card ideas (maybe you put some more effort in the ideas in terms of balance) so there can be a discussion on how to improve hearthstone as a whole. As we know Ben Brode and maybe some other guys of the development team are watching the content you put on youtube and they (might) take some of your ideas into account when releasing the next expansion, if there is a lot of positive feedback.
What deck tracker do you use, and where could I find it?
would increesing the deck size help with the agro problem?
that was one crazy brawl! so many neithers!
well in magic you get soem cards that are not creatures... namely artifacts and enchantments, they have their own removals too... but the pace is different and you don't often go in the 10+ mana territory
Good vid Kripp! Keep up the good work.
That "uhhhhh never" at 20:00
scared the shit out of me
"I'm the NetherMaster!"
*grins wickedly*
1:22 "a dreadsteed deck or something DREADful like that." I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE KRIPP
that twisting nether war was so epic. hahaha
I have an interesting card idea. 5 mana spell deal 1 damage to ALL minions and then deal 2 damage to ALL minions.
I never really noticed the distance in quality until he upgraded it turns out it's preeeetttty good
Each class could have their own legendary spell board clear.
An example could be in Mage where they could have a Legendary Flame strike for 4 or 5 mana that deals 4 damage to all minions.
I have thought about this for a while, and I think if they made each board clear unique, but equal as well as a legendary spell then it could work.
6:05 Actually it turns out that Mistcaller does NOT buff discover minions. I tried this personally by playing it with a fire elemental in my hand and discovered another fire elemental afterwards. I accidentally played the small one assuming they'd be equal. However, all the pirates in the deck become overloadless totem golems, so any card draw after a Mistcaller is really good.
what about the warlocks boardclear, the one that destroys your minion? that ones pretty good combined with power overwhelming! smorc then clear board for 5 mana!
good point Kripp, all board clears in game are kinda week right now, and with all the deathrattles it is impossible to wipe board completely. Good video man.
Shaman should get an earth shock-like that targets multiple minions. It'd be a very effective board clear for a class that needs some very effective cards
there was one game in this tavern where i played around 25 twisting nethers lol, i even have a screen shot of me holding 8 nethers in my hand. my opponent just quit
The points on concecrate are so true. Great video.
Kripp has become so Hollywood. Besides the fact he doesn't wear old stained shirts any more, he now even has ART hanging in the background.
this is one Kripps video i enjoy. no really, thanks for this video Kripp
thanks for the clips kripps
"Say my name baby"
"Kripperino"
"thats pretty good"
what for Twisted game is this?
Wrath of Dog
4 Mana / Hunter
Destroy all minions
If your hand is empty, draw a card.
NuggetsTM Dog loves you.
+AureaPersona Sounds fair since you need to have an empty hand to draw the card.
Hey Kripp, what would you think about adding in the "remove from game" functionality that card games, like Magic The Gathering, have into Hearthstone? Something that bypasses all the bullshit of things like Deathrattles, instead of "destroy minion", which triggers on death effects, just have a "remove from game" which technically does the same thing as a hard removal, as it takes a card out of play, but doesn't technically "kill" the monster?
reworking twisting nether mechanic so that it also kills anything from deathrattles might be worth considering to make a true board reset. Maybe a board reset card could be introduced
Freeze and Grinder Mage are a couple of decks that can support big board clears. If you like clearing shit out, that's where you probably want to look, particularly the latter if you enjoy the back and fourth.
The concept of the board clear card though is insane card advantage at a high cost. Imagine playing 5 cards on the field and having all 5 taken out by 1 card. True clears need to stay expensive.
Kripp, what are your thoughts on HS implementing different formats like MTG does? With an ever-growing card pool it seems like new players will have an even harder time catching up in order to be competitive and Blizzard will have a rough time keeping balance in check. Are there other solutions to this problem?
but why do I need to board clear at rank 25 when I'm up against colliseum managers?
you will never unsee this: consecration looks like moonkin in it's picture description.
Kripp, don't you think weapons kind of puts an odd twist in adding newer board clears? Would have to be quite careful with who gets what.
What do all the card auras mean? Like the glow around some of the cards while he talking
Rarity of cards.
whats red?
+NuggetsTM red is common
NuggetsTM its not in the game, thats the color kripp uses for it though
Another video, another day closer to Afrorino.
i have an idea for board clear card , 2 mana ,, destroy all minions on the board and take 2 damage for each minion destroyed ,, What do you guys think , is it overpowered , balanced? ( sorry for my bad english its not even my 2nd language)
Everytime Kripp picked twisting nether I quietly whispered to myself "A nether one"
i think reducing the cost of most AoEs by 1 mana would be a great fix. 6 mana flamestrike, 2 mana frost nova, 3 mana consecrate, they all seem fine at that cost
we could also use way more minions like zombie chow and unstable ghoul
I'd like to see Kripparian plays Yugi Oh for fun, and give his thoughts on it.
Well at least Twisting Nether is doing something right... it looks awesome XD
"You have to go full BM. Thats very important!"
I see what you did there
In magic I played decks that would win in the first 1 or 2 turns, and so I didn't usually need board clears to win.
4:25 Anotha one, kripp is actually DJ Khaled
"I don't think it will last forever" ..." The end is coming!"
A intresting buff on twisting neither would be 8-mana silence your enemy minions and destroy all minions
Kripp, what "tempo" means?
i feel if there were more board clears that cost low mana or just more in general, then we'd run out of cards faster so they would probably need to increase deck sizes if they do that.
My problem with too many consistent board clears is that it can become something like Yugioh when it first came to America. You could run 2 dark holes (full board reset), you could run 2 mirror force (enemy monster clear) and you could run a metric fuck ton of flip effect cards that cleared monsters so it just became a matter of who could clear the board while getting a few pot shots until you either chipped your opponent down or let them drawn themselves out. That isn't really a fun meta because you never get to use your cards, they just instantly get slaughtered.
I agree that big boards can be a problem because of how weak clears are but I don't think cheaper clears are the way to go. I personally don't know the answer but such a dramatic shift in the meta could make the game worse.
Kripp pls how good is torch
Twisting Nether - 8 manas ,clears board in HearthStone
Wrath of God - 4 manas, clears board in Magic.
Just think about which game is less SMOrc and thinking
+Denis Cavalcanti Martins This comment doesn't make sense at all.
you do know that almost no magic game lasts longer than 5 turns?
Ramyrror 47 If you play Legacy. There are a lot of turn 1 - 3 Combos. But T2 is another thing. Besides you can answer a lot of things in opponent's turn, just becasue you pass without using mana, so to make a play you need to think.
+Denis Cavalcanti Martins I was thinking of of Damnation than Wrath of God since Damnation's art is practically the same thing as Twisting Nether.
+Ramyrror 47 pretty sure he's talking about standard
I want more cards that shuffle things into the decks.
Like a Vanish, but for the deck. Or Shadowstep... but for the deck.
More "removal" that doesn't trigger the deathrattle of a minion, but can risk having it show up later would be great.
We got some shuffle into your deck/put back into hand single removal spells, I guess it is just a matter of time until we get shuffle into deck/put back into hand type of AoE spells.
Damnation of MTG is actually one hell of a card, since you can play an infinite number of creatures (destroying 40 elves at once just feels sooo good)
Flamestrike if one of my favorite, if not my favorite card in HEARTHSTONE and i play it in my own mage deck, i just hit rank 5 with ;)
Give us more videos with cards you create/find which you think would improve the game!
I had a feeling Kripp would mention WOG.
4:36 Another one. Another one. Bless up.
what about shaman boardclears ?
I saw the title and grabbed my empty salt shaker
mtg also lets you play stuff on the opponents turn letting the player do things like counter removal
4:32 Kripp confirmed DJ Another One.
They could probably do something like forgotten torch that does 2 aoe for 4, shuffles a 4 aoe into your deck...
You wan't some spells that can be used by every class?
4 mana: silence all enemy minions and deal 2-4 dmg to each minion.
4 mana: shuffle 2 random enemy minions into your opponents deck.
6 mana: deal 12 dmg randomly split at the enemy's minions. Draw a card for every minion died.
2 mana: deal 1-2 dmg to every enemy. Gets double damage from Spell damage.
5 mana: If your opponent has 2 or more deathrattle minions, silence and destroy them.
1 mana: deathrattle effects won't trigger this turn.
8 mana: summon a magnet trogg (6/6) , it takes control of every enemy minions' deathrattle effect.
How much nether could a twisting nether twist if a twisting nether could twist nether?
how about more effects that clear minions without destroying...return to deck, to hand...maybe introduce a remove from play/banish mechanic.
I'm not sure how you can graze over Hellfire. It's ubiquitous than consecrate and it doesn't even synergize with anything like Equality.
It should be said though that the 4 mana board clear (Damnation or wrath of god(?) are pretty old cards, and similar things in standard now cost several mana more. Damnation is also a 50 dollar card. The board clear abilities available now are still better than twisting nether though.
End Hostilities 5 Mana though...
+Kuru -chan yeah, I don't follow standard too much standard to much, but the point was that 4 mana destroy all creatures is not something that exists in standard.
How bout an remove without death mechanic? Or more penalties for actions?
Here are a few possibilities I thought of:
1. Some AOE polymorph-like card, only it either costs a crapton or transforms the minions into something better than a 1/1
2. AOE recycle could *kinda* work. AOE entomb would probably be too good even at 10 mana, but AOE recycle might be a good solution. Problem is it's a temporary answer
3. Poison seeds which transforms all minions into the treants instead of destroying them and summoning treants.
4. A card which combines any AOE with mass dispel, probably something like consecration. Silence all enemy minions, then deal some damage to them (I guess it'd basically be an AOE earth shock).
vanishhh
Here's an idea I'd like to pitch to you Krip!
What about Double hero skills? I mean like cross-class making. Next to your main hero power you can get a second one with like a spell or a minion. You can only trigger one once a turn. Unless offcourse with minions or spells that allow you to use it more times! Hell even weapons should allow you to use it multiple times, like say a Mage's staff or something.
The best part would be like a legendary or an epic that can fuse your hero powers together. Like a dagger and the druid roar, gives you 2 attack and 1 armour for 2 turns. There are of course counter productive synergies as well, but that's what makes it interresting. There are so many way this could go. Like make the first neutral spells, spells that give a random or a specific hero power from another class. I guess this will open so much variety. But Blizzard should like test this first in let's say a tavern brawl.
I hope this isn't too chaotic and that you actually read this comment. I would love to see your vision on this kind of idea. I thought of it a couple of days ago, but I'm just a no-one. However if you read this and find it interesting, even Blizzard might find it interesting and pick it up.
Maybe it isn't a change hearthstone needs, but it might help certain classes to get their mojo up. Like a shaman who can both armour up or heal together with his "usefull" totems. I won't make this comment longer than needed.
cheers!!
+Proxoa Just to add something extra, Cross-class ladder! Which you can only play with decks that can get a second hero skill. Because else the new players might get overwhelmed or something..
I'm gonna be honest. I played the whole time and never noticed that you can hide the discover pop up, until I saw you do it a few days ago and I play since closed beta and was multiple times legend and all that. lol
1337:th clip on kripps channel, this better be preeeeeeetty good
just how many crazed alchemists were summoned
I was playing the mage class challenge for brm and i had 3 summoning portals in the mulligan. I was like, "wow! What a coincidence. I'll keep one of them." Then I drew 2 more summoning portals and I laughed so hard at the full summoning portal deck it gave me...
Do you think that part of the design logic behind making board clears more expensive/ less common is that in Hearthstone you only have 30 cards as opposed to in MTG where you have 60? If you continually wipe off large amounts of minions you might repeatedly get into a fatigue situation which might not be that fun for all deck types, or do you think players would simply adapt to this by tending to keep their board down to only a few creatures at a time. Again however, this could punish certain deck types like zoo which focus on flooding the board. It's an interesting design problem. Personally I think it would be pretty exciting to play with larger decks, sometimes there are just so many good cards it'd be nice to put a few more in your deck.
consistent resets of the board, what fun...
He did not mention frost nova doom sayer, or other 2 card board clear combos like pyro equality.
