- RULES: No Bonfires can be lit or sat at. Lord Vessel has to be activated only to offer Lord Souls for Gwyn. Symbol of Avarice (Mimic Chest Head) must be equipped directly after defeating Gargoyles and Quelaag. I plan to do this run with the Artorias DLC and try deathless as well. That was what happened to me with Dark Souls three. Played that game so much that there was only a handful of bosses I actually needed to focus on.

someones done ds1 with no stamina used at all, so im sure it could be done
@@rlynothazel I think it would actually be easier than no stamina tbh because if it’s just that you can only walk and not a restriction on stamina then you can still use a shield, so while you go slower you at least get defense.

Periodically I will come back and watch more of your challenge runs. I’ve enjoyed all the ones I’ve seen. (sadly I haven’t seen too many) I like your idea of playing the game to have fun, and not for the recognition. Keep it up! On another note, I have avoided doing ANY form of hardcore or challenge run but I just started trying out Remnant from the Ashes in Hardcore mode. As much as I ABSOLUTELY HATE losing characters due to permadeath, I’ve come to realize that the challenge can also be enjoyable. I feel like I’m learning boss mechanics and dodge timing more than in standard mode. You’re videos are part of what helped me decide to try it out (aside from the items you can earn in hardcore mode that can be used on any character!) Anyways, thx again for all your videos

Personally I live for the hype more than the game. The game can be good or complete trash, doesn't matter as it is likely I'll only play it for a couple weeks either way, it's the serotonin rush I get from hyping up a game that I love.

Also when the first teaser trailer for eldenring was released my homie called the whole plot just from watching it. When I played the game to completion on drop week I was astonished that he was absolutely correct!

@@bloodangel19 You never played this game blind, have you? Don't say it's easy when you didn't discover how to play it properly yourself. Capra demon's RNG can fuck you up more than 5 times, so you must have known about the depths skip. It's difficult you just watched and emulated veteran players. On my first playthrough I got to the final bonfire in the catacombs before being greeted by a golden sealed wall. Here's a video showing you my weekly struggle of getting the fuck out.

It's probably better said you found it easy because you didn't learn the game yourself and Google searched and watched videos through any difficulty you ever encountered. It took me years to get this game down enough where I could get to nor O&S fight in a couple hours without glitches. You ever choose any of the other starting gifts? Or did you choose master key every time?

Thought I’d add onto the GRRM discussion. For most of us, the annoyance isn’t with Game of Thrones the show - he didn’t write the ending, and most of the disaster came from poor choices from D&D - But from the fact he seems to constantly take more and more projects. We are still missing the last two books of A song and Ice and Fire, and the more obligations he makes to write for videogames and edit for wildcards and so on will only slow the release further to a crawl (at least in the eyes of many of us)

I always thought about how difficult these runs are and the hardest I could come up with is only using emotes for movement. I guess thats more stupid and tedious than difficult but its fun to attempt at certain points throughout my normal playthroughs lol

hey squilla not sure if you have done it but a cool run might be no bonfires + killing everything (non-bosses included). might be somewhat impossible without using all 5 estus + howmany divine blessings you can find.
