+Skipperino Kripperino ty very much
+Skipperino Kripperino my hero
+Skipperino Kripperino You saved my life.
Skipperino, I need to ask: how do you feel about being everybody's saviour?
+Skipperino Kripperino Thanks you literally shaved my wife
Lol @ Rania xD "Are you killing Tinyfins?" "Well, I'm not exactly killing them"
"You monster"
0:00 - be responsible, don't skip a kripp!
+Legend Stuff how is it "responsible" to get liver cancer?
You see i dont really want cancer
+Skipperino Kripperino but by being a top commentor on his videos and the original kripperino you are cancer incarnate
+Skipperino Kripperino You birthed us, Fatherino. You were the original tumour.
^ those last two comments. Wasnt my idea for literally 50 people copying me :/
With balderino and cripplerino dead, it seems like hope is far away for us.
BUT, fellow kripperinos, cripplerino passed me his "crown".
We kripperinos will never die!
LONG LIVE THE KRIPP!
We don't die, we respawn
+Murlerino Kripperino This. We simply reincarnate into another Kripperino.
Oh,
STILL! WE SHALL NOT BE DEFEATED!
+Murderino Kripperino Woo, this comment section is becoming as cancer as NISLT's one
BabaBobojr sometimes cancer can be good
Imagine hitler
but with cancer
i imagine that warlock face turning from smiling while emoting "well played" into BabyRage
10:48 WTF? old murk eye as reward??
SCAMAZ
+MrWWFederation why does no one answer this
+MrWWFederation uh yeah what the fuck?
+MrWWFederation yes you get old murk eye by getting one of each classic murloc but at 10:48 it bugged and gave it again after his game ended
+MrWWFederation This is rewarded to those who have all the murloc cards. Why he got it now I don't know.
Best vid ever
+Murlerino Kripperino don't understand unless mrglglgl
+Sebastian Hernandez I didn't know, that you understand mrglmrgl
mrglrgl, mrglmrglmrgl ? Mrglabl
+Murlerino Kripperino Pffft, you can't represent murlocs. Not all murlocs are tidehunters! #NotAllMurlocs
#TinyFinLivesMatter
yer mum #JusticeForBilly
I don't like this Brawl, it gets boring after a few games IMO
Thats your opinion
+Thegenerator100 Normal discussion on a Kripp vid? GET OUT
+Thegenerator100 So play something else. You can make pretty much anything work.
+Thegenerator100 most people only play a few tavern brawl games
+Thegenerator100 How? The meta is more diverse than the actual ladder, this is one of the best brawls yet.
Freeze is brutal in this tavern brawl, it just rekts everything.
10:48 Why did he get an Old Murk Eye?
+TheRockdoo If you get all murlocs you get Old Murk eye as reward
+TheRockdoo This same thing happened to me like an hour from posting this comment, i made this exact deck that Kripp used, (had to craft a murloc to complete it) and i recieved old murk eye by crafting said murloc, i then added old murk eye and played a game against a rogue who silly enough picked the wrong buff in turn one and conceded, i spam clicked to get past the victory screen and i saw a flash of old murk eye and i was like "lolwut" and sure enough i had two in my collection, game said i could disenchant it, but when i went to disenchant it said i couldnt because it was a reward card, not a craftable one, i restarted hearthstone and the second murk eye was gone, its just a bug i guess. lol
+FrozzenAxe Gaming this has happened to me and many others. its a glitch. enjoy your useless 2nd murk eye
+Diamond Cvtter not a glitch.
it's a secret reward for getting all murlocs
+Destiny's Child the first one is a reward the 2nd is a glitch
I like how using Rockbiter Weapon never fails to get a compliment from Kripp. His choice as best balanced card, if I remember correctly from an old video.
In regards to the comment about minion count being more important than size I remember this being in issue in MTG, and was the whole reason they put in the Stampede attribute. It made excess damage to a target overflow onto the next target down the line. It made really big creatures far more terrifying to face, which may be something Hearthstone will need to do eventually.
10:00 Rania: "Are you killing tinyfins?"
I fucking died
I love this brawl! Priest Murloc deck was super fun to play.
My favorite deck was Egg Druid with the murloc bonus. An absolute blast and a very good winrate too.
When this Tavern brawl first came out I got a 12 win streak with this deck averaging at turn 3 concedes.
Fun and balanced.
my wish came true :) I was hoping he'd upload brawl vids earlier and he did. Thanks kripp :)
I loved the PainTrain that rolled over the last Zoo-Lock.
I had a ton of fun with mill Rogue with Elise in the deck. Also, battlecry Zoolock with Elise and Jeeves is a ton of fun
Mistcaller has much the same effect as the Deathrattle/Battlecry effect does here. It's not necessarily a "new" mechanic, but one used in a different way.
+Ryden Purrson No, mistcaller only applies the buff when the minion is played, kind of like a battlecry effect on every minion. The effect here is more like an aura that effects minions whenever they exist on the board, but unlike other aura effects, it isn't stacked when using "swap health and attack" cards.
Fatigue Rogue this brawl was also pretty insane. I had several game i outlasted zoo/aggro battlecry decks and made comback from 1 hp only because of how prep+vanish with all the other stuff in deck handled aggro well.
I had a shaman double coldlight seer and then everyfin on a full board. He went all face and left my baron riverdale alone. Leaving me with 4 health and then started spamming well played over and over. I then playing explosive sheep and feign death, and laughed and laughed as he conceded.
I did click the wrong bonus the first game so chillax... You're not the only one. :D Deathrattle shaman FTW!!
+Kiril Kupenov I think we ALL did ;p
Murloc Bonus is hilarious. I chose it, too. Used a Priest deck. Hungry Crab is also recommended, you can get a turn two 3/4 with it, killing your own 1/1.
31:57 that warlock totally did not see that one comming xd
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
yeah I did that end turn thing once or twice aswell, really weird blizzard didn't pick up on that.
well, i really had fun and good success with miracle rouge
in my opinion was this a very good brawl and good video krip
+DeadShinigami666 Me too, all that armor helps a LOT ;)
+havocgr1976 playing against hunter with 9 life left? clear board, deal damage, gain armor FeelsGoodMan
I actually thought of something similar to the deathrattle, battlecry and armor card -> lands. Maybe a whole new kind of card, or just a "landspell", something that you put in play, and it stays there for unlimited time or a set amount of time. It would allow some new interactions, for example: Treant Protector 2 Mana 2/2: "if a (forest)land is in play, gain +1/+2" or Flame Bomber: 3 Mana 3/3 "if a (volcanic)land is in play, deal 2 damage to a random enemy character at the end of each turn". These lands could have effects on their own, as a forest or wilderness land would give beasts +2 attack or a demonic land could give buffs to demons.
Isnt that already a thing in magic the gathering?
No idea, the only card games I played in my life, were Hearthstone now, and Yu-Gi-Oh 10 years ago.
+BengoManiff total mtg ripoff them.
Burnt Taco Never played Magic nor do I know any of the cards or mechanics, so no, it's from my imagination.
+BengoManiff Hahahahahaha.
I absolutely loved Spell Bonus Mill Rogue.
Never lost with it.
Oh man that Desert Camel Knife Juggler snipe Juggler: *puts on shades* don't worry, I got this.
19:40 that sylvanas + reincarnate actualy saved him, that's insane
I have a lot of fun with the spell bonus choice and a control pala deck with summoning stone.
Hands down my favorite brawl, it lets gimmick decks get their day in court, and no other brawl except for ones that are Boss vs Boss * we need more of those * can stand up to it.
Spell Bonus was AMAZING for Mill Rogue. No Murloc was match for that.
Warsong Commander (the new one, the bad one) is in fact a precursor of this mechanic since it works in a similar way (This gives +1 attack to all your minions with charge, like this buffs give +1/+1 to all your minions with a battlecry/deathrattle effect, even if they weren't play with these)
Did pretty well with a spell/weapon-only hunter against a deathrattle shaman. I won after getting hit by two Thaddius' and a Feugen two turns in a row (double reincarnate). Ended up getting about 30 armor from spells.
"If everyone is doing it, I gotta do it"
SHEEPARRIAN
i really loved all removal fatigue warlock with inly malganis and jaraxus as minions. kills all other fatigue and battlecry decks
I tried a similar deck to your summoning stone priest and it worked fantastic
I wasn't until this brawl that I realized how special Sir FInley is. All the other murlocs are savage and stupid as if its impossible to be a murloc and refined at the same time. Then here comes Finley "Whose up for an adventure, old chap?"
I played a Token Face type Druid with the Murloc power, it worked out quite well, Savage Roar OP
Pretty cool deck I saw noone else play in this brawl was the dreadstead warlock. Immortals 2/2 are pretty threatening, especially if you got a board full of those.
I found that Dragon Priest worked crazily well in this brawl. Nearly all of your minions are battlecry. Switching out Ysera for Nefarian also allows for some random spell fun and makes Nefarian a 9/9.
Theoretically for this brawl, how effective would a Paladin OTK deck be if I stacked healing spells and chose the spell bonus?
This is the first video in which ive seen kripp yell "OHH!" in the way he did at 12:01
Oh this is first men who said that murlok bonus is the best. Absolutely agree with you.
Damn never had so much fun with murlocs
The best thing about this brawl is that it shows what will be possible in the future in terms of persistent effects (similar to enchantments in magic). The brawl itself got boring very fast with 95% of people playing very similar variations of the same decks and classes, and everyone else basically getting shit on for not doing so.
I really love this Brawl, I have had a lot of fun and success with deathrattle shaman.
I like the battlecry power... Especially once I realized that practically every single minion in a dragon-based priest deck has battlecry and already has very high value, making them insane in this brawl... you get really good high health taunts too... I did replace the few minions that didn't have a battlecry... I think hungry dragon and echoing ooze were great in their place... more reliable dragon synergy, a 6/7 for 4, and a card that gives me 2 2/3s for 2 mana... or 2 4/7s and 2 spell power for 5 mana with velen's chosen. Priests are pretty well equipped to fight murlocs too...
the "new mechanic" could be something like the field effects in other card games. Ex: a terrain effect like a forest that gives beasts +1/+1
not sure if HS needs this but the way the effects work in this brawl are similar to this idea
The Kripperinos were short lived, but we will not forget their contribution to the comment section. As each video passes the kripps die off, Rest in Pieces.
Aura type/field effect cards could be a cool addition
Hey Guys I have a question: If I play for example ysera and my oponent plays voljin on ysera. now ysera has 2 lifepoints and gets 1 point of damage from for example moonfire. if i silence ysera now, has it still one lifepoint or is it back to 11 points? sry for my english
I had the most success with Battlecry Warlock, turn 1 Flame Imp into turn 2 Lance Carrier just pushes in so much damage that your opponent is dead around turn 5.
I had success with deathrattle rogue, pretty fun though :-).
I'm surprised i haven't seen Krippereno Jackson
Battlecry/Dragon Priest has served me well against murlocs.
Miracle Rogue with spell bonus OP :P
I played a mill rogue. When it worked it worked, and I had basically all my health + 30 extra armour, when it didn't work the armour bonus wasn't enough to stop the aggro stuff.
I did play Paladin Murloc for a while, it works great. However I wanted to try this Shaman Battlecry I saw, made a couple changes and it is well against anything. I think it much better than any Murloc deck out there. Things like Echo Ooze and Hungry Crab just shuts down any Murloc deck fast.
Is it that new a mechanic though? I mean Frostwolf Warlord used to do a variant of this where it got +1/+1 for every other minion on the board. To me it seemed similar.
Taver brawl this week seems to be preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty good.
I sorta wished that there'd be a LOT of different bonuses and that you picked one every single turn up until like turn 7-10. That'd be pretty cool.
Miracle Malygos Weapon Rogue deck was getting me wins all the time. Blade Flurry takes care of all those pesky murlocs
I played Spell damage bonus with freeze mage, and I was untouchable every game, I won so many times that I got bored.
Owned so many murloc decks by playing deathrattle druid with swipes, unstable ghouls and hero power. If you're playing vs non-murlocs just pick deathrattle bonus. If you're playing vs a paladin or shaman, pick a murloc bonus and watch them turn to salt.
I found mill rogue to be OP as hell. You are looking at around 50 extra armour from your spells.
I did exactly the same but with bloodlust, it was crazy !
soul of the forest works awesomly with the 1/1 buff on everything
Mill Rogue is the best deck in this format, you have sap and vanish for deathrattle, board clears for battlecries, and 1/2 dagger for murlocs. It's impossible to lose, I got down to 6 health and just bluegilled prep vanished, which made my opponent lose 14 power on board, and healed me 6 health.
I absolutely crush souls with my control priest in this tavern brawl: pyromancer & shield (
My first game went like this.
Tidecaller coin Tidecaller, Tinyfin, Tinyfin , spawn Tinyfin at end of turn.
End turn 1 with 5 minions, and 12 damage on board. No way to lose.
Rogue plays Unstable Ghoul, next turn wipes my board while I've got 2 Seers and a Warleader in hand. FeelsBadMan
I liked Hunter with nothing but spells, it was fun and I won a couple of games. Lock and load is just sweet for giving you minions and spells.
Miracle rogue whit spell bonus or a mill one?
I had a lot of success with oil rogue in this tavern brawl
This is probably the last time I'll comment on a Kripparrian Video, farewell my little Kripperinos.
+Cripplerino Kripperino and we lost another one
+DallMit gravekeeperino kripperino mabye?
No! Cripp!
+Cripplerino Kripperino But you can't stop your quest to find the balderino!
+TheGrandtBen Well I was thinking of continuing on the quest, but I assumed that no one would care about it anyways. This is basically what I planned on commenting.
Cripplerino: So it was you all along... SKIPPERINO KRIPPERINO. Why bro, why did you have to take Balderino Kripperino; what purpose does he have in all this.
Skipperino: There is much more to Balderino than any other Kripperino will understand, he is the key to fully Skip the Kripp. For you see Cripplerino lately I have been under fire from a certain Kripperino: Watcherino Kripperino. As long as he remains within Kripp's Comment Section, I will be unable to influence plebs to Skip the Kripp to a further extent. Because of this factor, I had to devise another way to silence Watcherino Kripperino by pushing him lower and lower the comment section so that he would be avoided easily. Someone that could garnish the attention of Non-Kripperinos, someone that could become an Icon for all of Hearthstone to fall in love with, someone that could be witnessed by LORD KRIPP himself.
Both: Balderino Kripperino.
Skipperino: Yes... But to create such a majestic being required a technological expert. Tell me Cripplerino, have you heard legends of the Forsen Boys.
Cripplerino: Yes, their Cancer was too great even for Twitch to bear; as a result, their autism was never outmatched by any other chats in existence.
Skipperino: Well one day, there was one to challenge Forsen and the Forsen Boys. Scamaz. Scamaz was brave enough to rig Forsen's games which inadvertently triggered his Cancerous Army to go against Scamaz and his followers. It was a brutal, horrific campaign that raged throughout Twitch and required any means that would benefit their exorcism of Scamaz. Needless to say, I lead them towards the encampment of Scamaz's Chat of which they raided and plundered all of Scamaz's treasures. I let them have everything, except for one. Scamaz's Gimp: Slaveberry. I enslaved Slaveberry to create the greatest Kripperino to ever exist in Kripparrian's Comment Section which would end up being Balderino Kripperino.
Cripplerino: You mean to tell me Bro, that my best friend was a Botterino Kripperino all along?
Skipperino: Yes bro, you never had any real friends at all. And he did exactly what he needed to do, advert attention towards him resulting in people skipping the Kripp as they read his comments rather than Kripp's Introduction.
Cripplerino: You're a monster Bro. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Kripperino.
Skipperino: You would never understand my pain, my strife Cripplerino.
To be Continued?
Just played 5 games with this, haven't lost once lol.
I did the click thing at the start of the game. Fortunately I was playing a Battlecry deck! True story 😂👌🏻
i had a lot of success with malygos shaman with heavy spells, i could live really long so i could combo people down
I've been using a battle cry paladin deck and I haven't lost to a Murlock game yet, it's mainly burst damage so if you survive that then they are top decking from turn 5 😂
Spell Bonus priest was so fun.
played a battlecry hunter, 11/12 games won using 2 hungry crabs. very effective against all these murlocs. turns out a 4/5 on turn one is preeeeeeetty good
"I ask, who are these idiots?"
"Then I fell into the idiot pond"
Made a pretty kick-ass Deathrattle Druid. Would somewhat like to test other archetypes/classes as well, but I'd rather not delete my current deck now that it actually started working.
This is perhaps THE tavern brawl that needed more deck slots, but of course we're too stupid to know how to use them so we'll never get any. Thanks Blizzard.
The Brawl itself was pretty cool, although once again it seemed to be quite tempo heavy (good/bad depending on who you ask from).
fatigue warlock work really great with spell bonus, I beat every freeze mage with spell bonus
I had real success with ultra spell control priest running the golden monkey for other spell decks. I think I played 12 and only lost once
10:01 Kripp-monster confirmed.
Well, at least now the deathrattle one would be super op because of NZoth
Mr. Dudets You would never make it to turn 10
Fun and interactive.
Another video, another day closer to Afrorino.
My problem with this one is that you can pick a slightly modified Control/Midrange Deck and pick the murloc bonus, and just dominate. I never lost to a murloc deck that didn't get rediculous rng off of their juggles.
That last one was sniping. That's how he knew you had lethal and that's why he played taunt two turns in a row.
Do you guys hear the tinyfin's sound as "I don't love you" cause I do and I haven't heard anyone mention it
I'm having a lot of success with spell bonus priest. The only real opponents that are causing me difficulty are other spell bonus decks and priest dragons. But everything else goes down fairly easily.
What deck tracker is Kripp using?
I won about 5 matches with a full spell mage deck, guess it's kinda hard to take down 106 armor plus 30 health before fatigue gets you down
If they are going to make the aura mechanic a 'thing' then they need to have something in the UI that displays what is currently in affect.
I played warlock to do the quest to play a bunch of 1-2 mana minions, chose the deathrattle buff, lost 1 game out of 8. even after I completed the quest, I only swapped out like 5 cards for some removal and kept winning. the only game I lost was due to not drawing any of the removal. overall, it smashed tho 😌
