    • @TheBushdoctor68
      @TheBushdoctor68 8 лет назад +2

      Maybe that's the problem...
      Sidewalks in my country aren't wide enough for a car to drive on. Still more than wide enough for people to walk on. Sometimes you have to take a step back to get better results. I'm sure those wide Russian sidewalks are created with comfort in mind, but it seems to not work that way.

    • @ThePepe969
      @ThePepe969 8 лет назад +19

      There is a reason for that, sidewalks are used for pedestrians and emergency situations for easy access (police,ambulance,fire fighters).

    • @ThePepe969
      @ThePepe969 8 лет назад

      No, because what you don't see is there is a sign that states no to cars before accessing to sidewalks.

If you drive on a sidewalk in Russia, the police don't care. and if they do pull you over, you can just give them some money, and they'll leave you alone.

    Start professional and government authorized Petitions asking the city to: 1.) install posts to prevent cars from entering. 2.) To increase fines to a higher amount.
    I'm sure you could get tens of thousands of signatures! Suggest they use the tickets/fines collected from places not installed yet to pay for next set of installations. It could pay for itself (if the city says they can't afford it).

      There is a website that sells a pack of bumper sticks that says "I park like a idiot" in bold letters. I place them on the bumpers of cars that double-park in parking lots. Sometimes I place them on the cars of my coworkers too haha

But that doesn't mean that all of us has to give up fighting four our rights...!! Great Job. Please keep....! I wish you all the best... I stumbled across Stop a Douchebag yesterday and I can't stop watching these videos, they're excellent. I have got 1 question however, in the UK to stop this sort of thing we put bollards across the path spaced wide enough for pedestrians and cyclists but nothing else, that would be a cheap and effective way to stop this overnight, why isn't it done?

    In Bulgaria we have the exact same problem. But more efficient solution is to put objects like posts so that cars can't get in the sidewalk but people can.

    1. I get why an official may have to flee a scene where a group of people are stopping a car. So it makes sense the police should say that
    2. If the official's care is so important, they shouldn't be raising their profile by breaking the law.
    3. If they are breaking the law, that does not mean they have a ticket to break the law further. So hopefully it goes to a court

    Good job guys. The longer you do this the more difficult it will get for "higher officials " to get away. There are limits to which extend they can keep escaping the law. Make your place a democracy.

      This kind of corruption is not limited to only Russia. In a place like
      the US it's the same, you just have to jump through more hoops to make
      it look like this doesn't happen. There are cases of judicial corruption in the US than I can list here.

    Nobody is hitting or running them over. They intentionally jump on the hood just to provoke. There is a huge difference. You can not resort to sophistry just to make a point. If you want to stop a douchebag, that is perfectly fine...but do not be a douchebag yourself in the process. It does not work that way..

    • @BrazBlue
      @BrazBlue 8 лет назад +2

      they are having their legs pushed by the bumpers first. the driver is actively pushing on the throttle even though their are pedestrians in front of them....they are being run over. jumping on the hood is to protect them from being run over. Yes, it's to send a message and fuck with their car, but it's totally justified.

    • @oblivionzzzmike
      @oblivionzzzmike 8 лет назад +1

      ***** No it's not justified! Think about it!

    • @chiefawesomeness
      @chiefawesomeness 8 лет назад +1

      They jump on the hood for protection, as well as an incentive to make the driver stop moving the car. (And in turn makes them cause less damage to people/things nearby)

    • @oblivionzzzmike
      @oblivionzzzmike 8 лет назад +3

      Finding excuses is no different from those trafic violators who say they have an emergency or low on gas or whatever. They have no authority for jumping on hoods or stopping cars. That is police work. It's ok as far as the stickers, denouncing, filming perpertrators and posting online goes. Other than that, every other measure involving use of force is redundant. If one doesn't see that, he/she is part of the problem. Period

    • @deleted7527
      @deleted7527 8 лет назад +1

      +OblivionMike True. you can see them holding on the Hood when the driver is slowly moving through and the fact that they block the persons view with huge stickers is even worse.
