For anyone curious, ds2 boss damage doesnt display the accumulated number only the most recent attack, which is why some attacks deal damage disproportionate to the numbers shown.

when i first played ds2 i did so on my terrible old laptop and never having played ds1 or des or really knowing much about them at all for some reason certain graphical effects just did not work at all and one of them was the like glowy orb above a bloodstain or an item pickup when i finally got to that room in fofg with the ambush and the bookcase i accidentally broke the bookcase and then saw that i could pick up 20 wooden bolts from the remains of it because the wood covered the corpse i mean yea makes sense i broke down a wooden bookshelf into being wooden bolts that makes sense i then proceeded to play the entire rest of the game thinking that sometimes breaking the scenery would just give you random item drops and broke literally everything it took probably about 3 years to realise that there was meant to be a little glowy orb above pickups when i got a new pc
I'm just so happy that you're allowing yourself to walk around like normal this go round, Baron. PS - Displate really are pretty pretty boss (get that paper, sir!) And to answer your question at the end - never!
seeing bonefist being used makes me so happy. easly my favorite fist weapon in all souls games. by far. nothing comes close to this masterpiece of a weapon

Ricards Rapier also strangely drops from the Brightstone Spiders, though I realize it was probably unrealistic to use up a weapon in a boss fight to farm for a weapon thats found in an earlier area.

when i first played ds2 i did so on my terrible old laptop and never having played ds1 or des or really knowing much about them at all
