@@kRx1203 you missed the part that left hand in ds is shit. Only ds2 is actually good. Ds3 you can only have r1, and ds1 you can only have the first part of the r1.
@@capperbuns I am aware. But isn't that the point of challenge runs? To take something seemingly unusable and make it work? And besides, it's really not that bad. You can use any magic you could want without issues, you can use crossbows (though you probably don't want to), and there's a handful of weapons for which spamming r1 is the thing you always do anyway.

@@pilot3605 Oh for sure. When I did my 99 ARC run, Spear w/fire gems carried me from Cathedral Ward all the way to the end. Also, since Hunter's Tools don't really have a softcap, they become stupid OP. So those sprayers become pretty much obsolete as soon as you find your first fire gem in Cathedral Ward. But for early game it's the most powerful Arcane scaling weapon you can find. Arcane builds have a rough time in early game but make mid to endgame a joke.
@@TitoMcFadden mate, the flamesprayer in early game is a BEAST (pun intended). It shreds through shit like butter. Amelia? Gone. Bsb? Gone. Paarl? Gone. Cleric beast? Gone. It just does a LOT of damage in early game. And I actually managed, with only a flamesprayer +6 and like 30 arcane, to kill Ludwig the holy blade. Molotovs and flamesprayer make everything a joke too.

This is such crazy timing I literally just killed Pthumerian Queen on my left hand/gun only run. I was using the reiterpallasch so i had an advantage over you in this video. Also, did you know if you buff the reiterpallasch with empty phantasm shell or papers the bullet damage increases! Cos i only today, I wish i knew that at the start of the run, would save so much ammo!!

Bonus points for using the SMT5 boss music for the killer queen fight. Despite making two arcane builds personally, I never knew Rosmarinus melted the Bloody Crow like that. I relied on poison knives and tentacle spam on my last run. Now I know to take it to +10 and actually use it.

Nice! Also, here’s a challenge idea if you want any, bloodborne but you can only use boss weapons, and have to use the weapon of the last boss you fought (if they had one) (also for Papa gasoline you can count the hunter axe as his). Idk i think the kirby challenge is pretty neat.
Probably be easier/more practical in Dark Souls. Most bosses don’t have associated weapons in Bloodborne since a lot of them don’t use weapons in the first place.
@@weferin it’d still be a challenge because of the different stats required and having to upgrade so many weapons. Many weapons associated with bosses in Bloodborne require a bit more work than just beating them, the only ones that drop them directly are Ludwig and Orphan as far as I recall so you couldn’t even go straight to using the bosses weapon after beating them. For example the Rakuyo is Maria’s weapon but how are you meant to kill the whales who drop it with a Rakuyo you don’t have? Therefore you’d have to use the Holy Moonlight or whatever other weapon which, from my view, defeats the point of such a run.
Laurence was my worst fight when going through the game, granted the only time i fought the bastard was ng+7 with the bowblade but damn orphan was so much easier. It took 6 weeks of three attempts every day. I did eventually get it though and that sweet sweet 100% completion was mine, actually 100%, pickups, kills, items, routes, a run through 1 of every chalice type, and difficulty, all with a dex or blondtinge build. It felt good ending it with the first time kill of Laurence.

Don’t feel bad about dying to Margo, I stopped playing bloodborne for a while because I couldn’t get past Micolash, who is supposedly one of the easier bosses in bloodborne lmao but I got Martyr first try which surprised the hell outta me lol
Micolash is not one of the easier bosses in Bloodborne at all, he gets me every run I do. He's pretty healthy, has a one/nearly one-shot attack with ACB and can do half your health with Augur. He's like if Demon Firesage had twice the HP for me. Maybe 1.2* the speed too.
@@jackpfefferkorn3734 I ended up trying a different strat, got him to the second phase of the fight, and where you’re talking about throwing knifes, I’d do a drop L1 with ludwigs holy blade and caught him in a cycle lol literally the only way I was able to finally get past it
IMO, the soulsborne series should have a "swap dominant hand" button in the settings (or character creation). It wouldn't be difficult to implement and I honestly think it would add quite a bit to the games - especially PVP.
It's a shame that even in a gimmicky run like this, the Fist of Gratia still doesn't have any use. Such a shame it can't parry, or really do anything. The None Reborn? The One Deborn?

Gun-only is an extremely fun run that just about anyone can do with proper planning. Flamesprayer build is quite easy but a lot of fun as well.

A Call Beyond is a hell of an attack and Micolash’s Augur does a fair amount of damage too, at least as far as I recall.
