Sorcery was never stronger than in Dark Souls 1. I'd say it's even stronger in 1 than in Demon Souls since DeS has pretty long times between bonfires. Baron I instantly subscribed at "Yes. The answer is yes." I was like "Well shit that's a 15-second return on investment." Glad I made that decision all those months ago.
Seeing this video made me decide to do it for myself, what I did most differently was also banning shields outrite even for parry and no estus(miracles are mainly used to heal after all) key changes to strategy I made. Save bonfire aesetic for old iron king. You can find enough disposable souls to reach 22fth. After getting enough faith only level Attunement until at least 30. (Soft cap 40 but might as well use as a dump stat, you aren't gonna us str dex or int) Get the token of fidelity off the bridge as soon as possible to aquire extra emit force and aoe lightning strikes from blue sentinel guy after ornstein (latter destroys large bosses) Don't kill the dark covenant guy caus darklurker is one of the best bosses in the series. The game is actually very easy this way and even with only ten vitality you can wear all but the thiccest armor and still mid roll. So there's nothing else really to say.
You seriously overlooked Heavenly Thunder, as Gamer's Weekend put it "large hitbox and Heavenly Thunder", against bigger bosses Heavenly Thunder is really good, against bigger bosses (Rotten, Executioner's Charriot, Nashandra, etc.) as it'll hit them several times. Also Soul Appease, that spell allowed me to clear out a lot of the Prowling Magus fight (took out all but two of the lesser hollows and severely damaged the two priests in the two coasts that I had) and take down the Royal Rat Vanguard in like a minute (killed like 10 rats in a single cast), it's very situational but it absolutely wrecks shit when it's usefeul. Heavenly Thunder proved to be quite good for the Skeleton Lords boss fight when I was doing co-op for Sunlight Spear, the moment the other skeletons showed up I'd stand in the water and spam the shit out of it, throw an Allurimg Skull into the area and have the smaller enemies cluster to get hit by the spell. Note that this isn't a Miracle only character, in fact for some time it was a melee character with support Miracles (healing and Replenishment), but now it's a hybrid melee/spellcaster build, even if for the progress that I've made in DLC2 and DLC3 forced me into a more melee focus due to how little damage my spells do (34 Faith with a +8 Lightning infused Priest Chime), however I'm also open to using Chime based Hexes as well (so I'll have around 20 Intelligence as well).

What was that music during the Alonne fight? I really want to listen to more of it.
I've been wanting to know that as well but I'm having no luck

You deserve more subs your delivery on jokes is spot on .
Omg a viable miracle build?
Still waiting for the old man 😡
"How many times do we need to teach you this lesson Old Man"
old man hates him!
with this simple strat you can create the infamous "miracle build"
You can literally do anything in Dark Souls 2. That’s why it’s best.
Clicked like as soon as I heard the DDLC music
Here's the song for the Sir Alonne fight in case anyone was looking for it! ruclips.net/video/g23y-5-sx0Y/видео.html
Thank you
Your a saint
God bless man, thank you so much
thanks
"Since my trips to the woods was an even bigger failure than my actual real life"
...Are you okay?
Barons: "The Rotten has shaddy grab hitboxes"
Also Barons: 8 ADP
ADP doesn’t fix hit boxes
@@Gary_a_normal_human_being Plus the hitboxes are actually good in this game. See the clip where the Last Giant's arm barely sweeps above the player's head (which can be seen in the first boss clip).
@@mastergame1311 Wow, one good hitbox.
@@night1952hundreds actually,modders already checked ds2 hitboxes.
Immediately like the video because someone finally said “ yes it’s possible, watch the video anyway it’s cool I promise”
You should’ve just cheesed Ancient Dragon by standing in between the toes of his back foot. It would’ve completely trivialized the fight.
wouldnt have been as entertaining tho
At the moment the video started with an MGR:R OST I knew this channel was great
Amber Herbs? You meant turds
As soon as he burned the Ascetic at Heide's, I realized the future was not gonna be bright...
_Example of a genuine question:_ "Can you beat 'Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin' using only miracles?"
_Example of a rhetorical question:_ "Can you beat 'Dark Souls II' using only miracles?"
I do like this channel. Dropping a comment for the accursed algorithm to feed on.
Im currently doing a DS 2 miracles only kill everything run. Meaning i can only advance to the next area after every enemy stops respawning. After 24 hours i just got done with the forest of fallen giants.
Masoquism in another level
Finding the motivation to actually playthrough ds2 is a miracle
Damn, this is doubly impressive because not only did you put a difficult self-imposed limitation on your playstyle, but also played DS2 willingly.
lmao
Old tired joke
15:50 that spooked me. Leftover response from the many falls during that boss.
This game is still the best in the series for miracles. Especially Emit Force, somehow. Love it.
Edit: I think people like Sinh because he actually kinda fights like a dragon. You know, cheap as fuck and likes to fly around to avoid you.
Basically, Sinh remembers they have wings and actually uses them.
I must be the only one who noticed the Curse of Monkey Island song in the back, I LOVE THIS
The Amber Heard joke aged well...
You can now use the joke with Dung Pies! #AmberTurd
This was great!! I love finding obscure RUclips channels.
thanks dude, glad you're enjoying the content! More coming soon
Weird how patches is telling me how to beat the game as a filthy cleric
Not only is it possible. It's actually fun to do. Miracles are pretty damn good in this game
Baron I instantly subscribed at "Yes. The answer is yes." I was like "Well shit that's a 15-second return on investment." Glad I made that decision all those months ago.
Swear to God the cleric glass with the healing/lighting spears spells are to damn OP for their own good, and I love it!
I actually finished this vid BECAUSE of how honest your opening was 😂
That song you played when you got to Elium Loyce brings back memories
I fucking love DS2. It made being a caster so fun.
The moment he ascetic'd Heide without getting access to the blue boi's Heavenly Thunder was the moment i knew this was going to be entertaining.
These videos are great for when I can't sleep and am bored as fuck, good stuff
Love this intro how you give us the answer at the start of the video. Much respect. No clickbaity bullshit ❤️
I love all of the monkey island music... one of my favorite games of all time
Speech level 100: “If a boss walks off the edge, I’d call that a miracle”. You’ve convinced me
Seeing this video made me decide to do it for myself, what I did most differently was also banning shields outrite even for parry and no estus(miracles are mainly used to heal after all) key changes to strategy I made.
Save bonfire aesetic for old iron king. You can find enough disposable souls to reach 22fth.
After getting enough faith only level Attunement until at least 30. (Soft cap 40 but might as well use as a dump stat, you aren't gonna us str dex or int)
Get the token of fidelity off the bridge as soon as possible to aquire extra emit force and aoe lightning strikes from blue sentinel guy after ornstein (latter destroys large bosses)
Don't kill the dark covenant guy caus darklurker is one of the best bosses in the series.
The game is actually very easy this way and even with only ten vitality you can wear all but the thiccest armor and still mid roll. So there's nothing else really to say.
Thanks for the Pie gift at the end, made me really laugh.
Note that this isn't a Miracle only character, in fact for some time it was a melee character with support Miracles (healing and Replenishment), but now it's a hybrid melee/spellcaster build, even if for the progress that I've made in DLC2 and DLC3 forced me into a more melee focus due to how little damage my spells do (34 Faith with a +8 Lightning infused Priest Chime), however I'm also open to using Chime based Hexes as well (so I'll have around 20 Intelligence as well).
the majula theme is so nostalgia-inducing
Okay, Metal gear rising at the beginning was cool
I enjoyed that
Baron: can I beat ds2 with just miracles
Me: can i beat ds2
you can beat ds2 but ds2 hits back
