Hi eloi, do u know any roadmax for max to hv a proper node based modelling like grasshopper in rhino? I heard that they would soon discontinue the development of MCG, and instead, want to focus on bifrost. However bifrost have been removed from 3dsmax road map, so i m really confused what autodesk is planning to get 3dsmax node based modelling implemented. Any thoughts about this? Love your channel btw and hv been following u for years! Greetings from fellow 3dsmax user from asia :D
Can someone please tell me about the open standards for this video? I do not speak English well Simply. Is it for gaming purposes? Or is it for video purposes? What technology (or file format) is it?
It is really for anything 3d related. Not really industry specific. Until now, moving any mesh between different softwares was quite limited. Or for materials for example very tight to wathever renderer you was using. Now with an openstandard material, if wided adopted means that you will be able to move your 3d models between blender, max, maya, houdini, substance painter and wathever adopts it, keeping the same material look, no matter the renderer.
Эти ленивые жопы из автодеска, случайно не доработали модуль CAT? Это надо было сделать еще 5 лет назад. Хотя скорее всего, они просто не в состоянии улучшить этот гениальный инструмент. И убрать его баги.
can't wait to see 2024.2 update! is it still going to make into the next video? (only 5 days left)

The AutoBiped script still works. I still use it to rig Mixamo characters
Every time I watch news about 3ds Max, I hope to see that autodesk woke up and updated BACKBURNER

Open standards love, glad to see it, still worried about companies trying to carve out "camps" but it's coming together.
Awesome summary. Thank you, Eloi!
Hi Eloi, what are your thoughts on Chaos Phoenix ? Can that be an Industry standard and compete with C4D ?
Thank you for being a beacon of expertise and for lighting the way for all of us in the community. Your impact is immense. Sincere gratitude,

Shame that I will never ever be able to afford a 3DS license any more.
Thanks Eloi, your updates always appreciated.
Merci beaucoup Eloi
I'm super excited about open pbr - geometry is fine to throw around at this stage but lookdev passing between dccs is going to be so useful.
Bunas cositas este mes ! Gracias!
