Kimber KDS9c Review: Is It Better Than Staccato C2?

- It's not a secret that metal-frame handguns haven't been the star in the gun market for many years, until just recently. There's a notable resurrection in their popularity among buyers, especially if we are talking about double-stack 1911 handguns and these 2011 types of pistols.
Well, that's not surprising, as who wouldn't love their excellent trigger qualities and low-recoil operation? They shoot fast and accurately, too. Among the metal-framed guns, the likes of Staccato C2 are considered the cream of the crop. The only problem is that they are kinda expensive.

I am a very elderly man who's skin has become sensitive over the last few years. Recoil with its abrasion of the skin is an issue. In November, I bought a CZ Shadow 2 compact, and I like it so much it is my EDC. After watching a video about the Kimber KDS9C, I found a used one at my local gun shop/range. I was allowed to shoot it to see if I wanted it or not. The Kimber is very accurate and feels good in my hands. It is the same size as my CZ so it is equally concealable. There were two physical features of the Kimber I did not like; the trigger is grooved, which does not feel good during recoil and the bore axis is high like most pistols. The CZ trigger is smooth but my finger doesn't move around on it and the bore axis is low which means significantly less felt recoil than the Kimber. And then there is the purchase price. In my area, the CZ is a little less than $1,300 and the Kimber is around $1,500. I did not buy the Kimber. The only Staccato I have shot was the full sized model, which my buddy shoots. He is looking for a new EDC and does not want the compact Staccato, the Dan Wesson compact or the Kimber KDS9C. He is giving serious consideration to the Shadow 2 compact. My buddy is 25 years my junior and is in great physical condition,
I think you should push for the Shadow 2. That thing is hot right now, and it has the rights to do so. I can give its ergonomics a solid 9/10, and it is something that everyone can use smoothly.
I'm not even sure if it is a human talking. Lol I've listened to a few of these. Very robotic. Is this like read by software?
Plus it sounded completely different every time it said Stacatto C2, different accent and all.
I don't get why you would include photos of other guns like Rapide and Wilson in this group of pics and article about KDS9c and Staccatto? Somethings fishy.

I owned one Kimber. Never again! Way overpriced paperweight. Difference between Wilson and kimber are night and day.
