That blue fabric would make an awesome set. It would be sad to make a dress if you wouldn't wear it. I don't currently have any for sure plans right now, but I'm going loosy goosey with it. I hope you have a fabulous week!
i spend soo much time thinking about what im going to make (particularly when traveling/at work/etc when i am not home and thus cant actually be making the stuff lol) so i like hearing other sewists/creatives thought processes :) also you are so gorgeous!! you look like Liv Tyler esp the hair is excellent very 90s action heroine
I love the blue knit! I can totally see a tee dress - maybe one with a big cushy collar! That blue is so pretty! You mentioned a woven cami? True Bias has that very popular one, of course. And I've used the Ashton top (not a cami, though) for the smallest pieces that I keep. I plan on sewing up hoodie, flannel PJ shorts combos for our granddaughters; hopefully they're OK with matching. The Page pattern has just gotten here, and I was going to use the smallest size, but I should measure them first. I think I have enough to make my own hoodie and have cut out long pants for myself! 😉 Happy sewing!
I've made the Ogden cami a few times but never really loved it- that was years ago though. I do love the Ashton and you're right, would look great as a scrappy version.
If you are thinking dress for the blue knit fabric Seamwork has a newer pattern called the Greer Dress. I think that would be stunning! But you also can’t go wrong with a lounge set…
This fall I’ve been making my rib knits into midi or maxi Entice Me dresses by Pattern Emporium (which I also mash with necklines from the Keep it Simple tee). It’s my ultimate secret pajamas that look great dressed up. But I’m also loving the idea of some really luxurious loungewear for the winter, so I have some viscose sweater knit that’s going to become wide-leg pants and a funnel neck top. I think either of those outfits would be amazing out of your blue rib knit.
I think that blue rib knit would be so cute as the lounge set! Do it! I would like to make some Christmas themed reusable gift bags and sew up a couple of stockings. We'll see if I get any of that done. :) Happy sewing!
Regarding the blue knit fabric, I made a sweater knit pants and matching hoodie for a. lounge set which I love to wear after a long day. I used a lovely knit, but not a precious fabric... yours looks pretty nice on the video.
Can’t wait to see what you make with the blue! It’s a beautiful fabric.
Thanks! I have so many ideas now- going to trust the right one will inspire me!
Great plans, looking forward to all the beautiful makes!!! 🧵🧵🧵 💖💖💖
Thanks!
Ooh a turtleneck dress with the blue knit would be awesome!
Yes this might work. Maybe I should make the Monroe and see if it would work lengthened?
Hi Whitney! I want to use up more of my scraps but I need to find some smaller projects to use them up. ❤
Well maybe we can all find some good ones in the coming year to use up our scraps in beautiful ways!

Yes, I don't want it to languish in my closet. A fabulous week to you as well!

Ogden Cami is my favorite woven cami.

I just saw this!

That dress has a lovely shape! I like the idea of the wide leg pants and funnel neck top. Feels unexpected and a little glamorous?

Yes, I need a few more hours in my days this time of year!

It is a pretty nice fabric, so maybe not at home loungewear but... going out of the house set that secretly feels like loungewear?
