Sure looks like this is how the power play is going to lead into full scale war
ive thought there may be 2 branches of FSD: the SCO , and then sirius releasing tech for looong range? for exploring maybe? i dont know
nice cinematics and content thnx Ricardo
Could bring lots of Industrial Espionage missions and CGs. I'm hoping that Sirius fight back with an engineered upgadre to the old FSD's so they can be converted and become stable in the old ships
Wonder if they would make a better frame shift drive that would allow ship’s jump 500 ly yrs 😂 like the carrier’s
are you serious..?🙄
a carrier maybe has a huge fsd that can therfore make a jump big like that, what would even be the point of allowing a regual ship to jump that far? how far should be the carriers allowed to jump then...? seriously, I don't see how it could be even be viable
Carrier jump ranges are not far enough in my opinion, It should be a minimum 1500 light years and they should also be able to store more tritium. But if it were up to me I would rework carriers completely.
@@lanceobe6801 damn you guys are never happy. The galaxy has already become smaller, increasing jump range even more would make it a joke. What carriers actually need in my opinion is:
- bigger tritium storage
- planned routes with multiple points
- automatic transfer from carrier storage to tritium depot (this is badly needed, having to use a middle ship is a joke)
- more services and useful NPCs (currently the crew members are simply useless). I had posted several ideas about this, they (FD) could really do A LOT in order to make more actual gameplay and funny things with the carriers
@@lanceobe6801 For real. in a tuned 'conda you can catch up pretty quick with mats.
Welp, if FDEV was serious about the overhaul of Engineering, maybe a FSD war will be the impetus to get CMDRS exploring the new system.
I tore out my g5 fsd in my fdl for a stock A rated sco. I'm never going back. Maybe the other manufactures should get into thrusters or supercool power plants.
I don't honestly give one lick about the narrative of this game no matter what they try to do, I'm just here to sandbox in space.
But I have to let out a sigh, just another thing I won't be able to experience until I shell out the bucks for another PC that can actually handle it. I'd probably also buy a HOTAS at some point, but I'm fluent on the controller so maybe a bit later... I did start out on X-Wing & Wing Commander on PC with the basic flight stick setups though. I think I'll be good...
X-wing, quality game, I have some missions on the channel as players have updated it somewhat. Now that is a game
@@RicardosGaming I still got my DOS floppy copy CIB. Now if I can resurrect my early 00s gaming PC that still has a floppy drive...
How can you say commanders will loose out when talking about better future tech? The more, the better, the more commanders benifits. After a decade in game, getting materials for new tech is something I look forward to!
You said it first ! Great video 😂
I swear it was the sirus corporation that attacked them they were the one that made the frame shift Drive for years but then their Achilles corporation comes in and take the spotlight they are like brothers trying to trip each other
either that or it was robotic badgers
Wait...this happens? How do I get a better FSD?
Honestly it's not even the SCO that overshadows the Sirius drives, it's the fact the new drives have SCO and slightly better jump range at the same time, an effect that gets more pronounced when you engineer the thing, then tack on a guardian FSD booster. Im sorry but Yong Rui has rested on his laurels for too long, and unless Sirius comes up with equally as beneficial an improvement to the drive, no amount of warring is going to change the upset in the balance of power.
