Very lovely, you are so right. It takes patience to complete a whole afghan in single crochet, but it’s so clean and fresh looking! Thank you for this informative tutorial.
I can’t believe you don’t have more likes & comments. Good job & thank you for this tutorial, I haven’t made it very far yet, just a few rows. Had to frog a few times lol but I got the pattern down now :)
I love this, I wanted to find a pattern that would be very easy for me to follow. My only question is how do you finish it off? Do you just do a slip stitch?
Hi…..I hope you can tell me about the beginning of the second row…..do you use only half of the ‘v’ when doing your single crochet? Thanks for your help.
If you mean the row after the chains then it's the upper half of the V. If it's the stitch row then it's the entire V. check the written pattern as well.
Mine was around 100 cm but you can adjust according to your liking, for the width, you make the number of chains of your choice, for the length, you make the number of rows needed to achieve the required length. Hope this helps
I have been Crocheting the Crochet an easy single Crochet blanket, but haven't worked on it for a while. How can I watch this entire video? Gwendolyn C. Baxter
Just curious about the start. Does that mean the second row was 129 stitches? I have a pattern that starts this way and says the second row is one stitch less with this same technique. Thank you
Can anyone help me I’m doing single colour baby blanket and I’m at the end of my yarn how do I change the yarn? I can’t single stitch the end it just comes apart?
I would be able to chain 100 at the beginning right? I made one that was the length of this one and it’s almost done! Absolutely gorgeous but wanted to make sure 100 would work because it a a commissioned baby blanket
@@CrochicaNBF, okay, so if it is a 130 chains to start the blanket and then we skip one chain from the hook and start the single crochet in the second chain from the hook to begin the the first row on the blanket, does this mean that we will actually end up with 129 single crochet stitches on the first row and all the other rows too? I want to know this because I always count all my stitches when I crochet so that my blanket doesn’t end up looking weird, or unbalanced or angled because of my losing a stitch.

Thank you for your comment ❤️
Gorgeous!
I'm starting a baby blanket today and wondered if I could just use sc to avoid large holes. Thx for the information!
Absolutely!! it's the best stitch to avoid large holes :)
I am making a blanket like this but it is very stiff
Why is this?
it's usually the combination of the acrylic yarn and single crochet but at the end it turns out neat and beautiful and much softer.
Thank you for doing the runner tutorial
Thank you for the great instruction!
You are welcome!
I can't thank you enough ♥️♥️♥️
thank you for watching :)

After your last stitch, you chain one and pull the thread, that ay you fastened off your work, and you hide the rest of the yarn.
Im making my first blanket and i made that mistake and had to unravel the entiee thing because it was becoming a triangle 😢 2:21
It's beautiful that you for sharing

Hello there, I was just wondering approximately how big this project turned out to be? Is it big enough to cover yourself?
Yeah, it's good to cover a single body :)
how many skeins of yarn this thick do i need for a 130x140cm blanket?
At least 10 skeins with 250 to 300 gr,, start with these and see.
Very good thank you for this video
Glad you liked it

So nice!
Thank you! 😊
How many chains she make for this single crochet blanket. And how many rows she do. And what three color yarns she use for this blanket.
All the info are in the written pattern linked in the description box.
When changing colour, did you tie off and weave the ends in first?
You can do that or you can hide the use thread while working the stitches.
Did you use two strands of yarn? Does it matter what size needle
Only one strand of yarn is used, the crochet hook must be the one in the yarn label and you can go 1 size up if you wish.
Hi I what crochet this this blankets for double bed how many foundation chains I must do
Hi, about 200 chains + however you'll need a lot of yarn around 15 skeins.
That's what I am going to make, but it's with a multicolored yarn.
could someone help me mine is curlling '
Continue the same way and it'll get flat with more rows
Just curious about the start. Does that mean the second row was 129 stitches? I have a pattern that starts this way and says the second row is one stitch less with this same technique. Thank you
That is correct
Are you going underneath the chain, or are you back chaining?
Inside the chain. The V
How many rows up do you go? 130 to start but how many additional rows do you do? Or just go til you feel right lol
100 rows and you can add depending on how big you want it.
Thank you!
hi, for baby blanket, how many chains??
You can make the same number but just less rows or you can chain around 85 to 90
Can anyone help me I’m doing single colour baby blanket and I’m at the end of my yarn how do I change the yarn? I can’t single stitch the end it just comes apart?

@@CrochicaNBF Thankyou!
Hi how many rows you did before changing the clours
I didn't focus on the number, I used 2 skeins of yarn for each color.
How many balls of each yarn did you end up using?
2 for each
is this the single crochet in front loop looks like it
It is a normal single crochet, both loops.
I'm making one for friend it's take awhile I'm already at the changing color
Great, once you reach half way, it'll be easier to finish and you'll be even motivated to finish it in the same day :)
I would be able to chain 100 at the beginning right? I made one that was the length of this one and it’s almost done! Absolutely gorgeous but wanted to make sure 100 would work because it a a commissioned baby blanket
Any number is good when you single crochet.
Is your last stitch in your turning chain?
yes it is, then pull through and fasten off.
I mean the last stitch of each row
How many ply is the wool?
It's acrylic medium 4 yarn.
Is this for single bed
yes , it can be.
Is this the uk sc
All the channel is using US terms.
113 or 130 chains?
130
