      Hello, I would say 4 would make a great size. Good idea for tummy pad

      You might want to put a stitch marker in the last stitch to help..
      Hope this helps.

    I have been trying to crochet a baby blanket with the same stich and bernat yarn, 32 inch wide. For the second time I had to let out, after almost completing, the top is about an inch off in width. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I made sure my counting is accurate, I mark with a pin after every ten stiches on my second try. By the way, beautiful color yarn. What is name of color for search.

      Hello, I would do a multiple of two than chain one an turn an go into the first stitch.
      I hope this helps. When you get to the end go into the chain an turn your work. Go into each stitch including the chain at each end.
      And I am sorry I do not know the color name. It is so pretty.
      I hope this helps.
      Have a great day, Emily

    The end stitch you dont say if you are picking up one strand or two? 😢

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, I would pick up two. That way it is stronger.

    • @Human4Peace
      @Human4Peace 10 месяцев назад +1

      @Emilycrochet and I can't always figure out which two unless people do a very slow close up shot of the two strands at both ends of the work. So many tutorials miss this factor and it's where beginners struggle the most imo

    How long would you do a baby blanket

    • @Emilycrochet
      @Emilycrochet  10 месяцев назад

      Hello, each person is different. I prefer a smaller blanket for new born babies. That way when you hold them you don't have extra blanket. My older grandkids, I make the blankets large.
