Honestly, what a great video. No faffing about, no distracting music, very clear instructions, straight to the point. These are exactly the type of crochet tutorials that I like. Not too slow either (I know slow tutorials have their benefits) but I just love the simplicity of this tutorial. Oh, and the stitch is really pretty. 😊

@@naticrochet absolutely and thank you again, I'm actually working on attaching this pattern in between segments of a huge blanket I started that's double crochet throughout most of the body and it's looking great so far. Gave it the definition of multiple textures I was wanting to achieve for such a large project (queen size bed with room for the sides to drape over a bit and I realized the puffs are perfect to as a border all the way around to give it a uniformed look that gives it the right balance of feminine and neutral I wanted for our bed💖 I usually make things for others I FINALLY made it a point to do a project for myself. Stay blessed and I look forward to watching all you do in the future!

I have a special bookmark “Nati’s Stitches” for many of your tutorials. And this stitch is already in there. My one of my cats needs a new floor mat in front of the fridge where she likes to nap. This stitch should keep her cozy-warm while I can use up some yarns left from other projects. Thank you for sharing this pretty stitch.

I made a 180×80 (approximately) shawl with this stich. It was easy to fallow and didn't require much attention. But it didn't go fast at all. I feel like it took forever. Maybe it's because I'm a beginner or this was my largest project so far. It is a great stich btw, looks great. It was a gift and the person liked it. Thanks for the tutorial

I am so thankful I found you! I had two brain tumors causing mini-strokes and falls resulting in many areas of memory losses. Also, my motor skills suffered alot. But, I have fought back greatly and regained much of what I had lost.
I am relearning crochet 🧶. Your presentation is exactly what I need for all the reasons everyone cites. I have one deaf ear and one useless eye, but the other ear and eye work well enough to serve. 😊. My hands are often steady enough to di as I tell them to for long periods of time and I'm looking forward to crocheting again.

Hi, Thanks for a great tutorial. In answer to Ann Brown's question about how long the chain should be for a baby blanket I would say that first of all, you need to have an even number of stitches. In other words, multiples of 2. As for how many chains to make in the initial row, that will depend on the weight of your yarn and the size of your crochet hook. I recommend experimenting by making a small swatch, and doing a bit of math. For example, if you want your blanket to be 40" X 40", make a 4 inch swatch. Multiply the number of chains by 10. This will give you a good idea of how many chains you will need in the initial row. I always add a few more, as I tend to crochet tightly. Hope this helps!

@@naticrochet Thank you! Happy to help. I'm making your blanket using Bernat Baby Blanket Big Ball in Pink Dreams for my first grandchild, who will be arriving in December! I love the texture and easy pattern repeat. I'm using a 10 mm hook and I started with chain 100. This looks like it's going to be about 42 inches square. I forgot to take the border into account when measuring. Oh well, baby girl Sagitarrius will grow into it eventually. Happy crochet to you as well! 💖

Such a simple simple stitch to crochet, but so pretty. I would like to try this and change colors every row like I would if I were doing a moss stitch. I will then do a double layered crochet border like I would when doing mosaic crochet...No weaving in ends :)
