Maybe this has already been mentioned but I saw a tip for clamping the hardware: after you put the hardware on the fabric, fold the fabric sort of inside out back over the hardware so that it’s covering it. You should have a strap covering each side of the hardware. Now clamp the hardware down using the straps as protection from scratching the hardware. This will allow you to clamp down tighter.

I glue the inside of the metal with super glue gel before I crimp it with pliers. Never have had one come apart.
Your tutorial was exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you for sharing....I like that you did three rows of stitching....I will definitely try that.
You can also stitch the ends together. That's what I do sometimes. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the tutorial. This will be my next projext and gifts too. Your videos are helpful to me…
I like this, great gift idea. ❤❤❤
The fabrics u used are so cute!!
Great video! I’m going to try it with cork to match a new wallet I’ve made! Thank you!
So cute! What kind of interfacing do you use?
Thank you.
I sewed the two ends together rather than glue.
Do you find that sewing through glue affects your machine needle?
Not at all, as long as the glue is dry. Elmer's Washable School Glue is basically just starch.
1:21 im a very new beginner, ive never even turned on the machine yet! What is interfacing
Love 💕
Do you use 100% quilting cotton scraps?
Never mind. I saw the video description 😊
That fine tip glue bottle is the best! I bought one from your Etsy earlier this year, and I end up using it with every sewing project.
