I rented for two weeks a full option 2019 630i, and was truly impressed how comfortable it is on long drives, and how well it looks; it really grows. The inside is very nice, especially at night with a very well executed mood lighting. I have 5 series myself, and often drive the 730, but the 630i is for me the best of the two, and my next choice.

I drove a 640i M-Sport today and I was very pleasantly surprised. Its fast, doesn't feel heavy and has excellent ride quality. It looks much nicer than 3- and 5-series GT. It also looked gorgeous in that Red Burgundy color.

Bmw 6 GT is the best for speed, luxury & space! The adaptive suspension is outstanding soaking up every speed bump. Perfect car if your looking for a estate chassis space but a coupe look. All round car 👍

Anyone on the fence about the looks should really see this in the flesh (metal?) - it’s got so much road presence and the interior space is just phenomenal. Honestly, it’s an easy car to hate because of the car it replaces but it does have that that special something when you actually sit in it.

Bmw deserves some credit for making a car with great comfort/luxury/style and a good price.
The actual and only downside of this car is common to most cars; you need to spend A LOT OF MONEY in optionals!!! As for the rest, that's an absolutely great car
I think this is a very impressive and versatile car. Reminds me of the Skoda lift back which had more room in the back with seats down than the station wagon. Great for carrying stuff without having to fit roof racks.

the 6 series as you know it (large coupe) won't exist anymore from next year on anyways. It will be replaced by the 8 series. So having the 6 series as a transition between 5 and 7 makes sense, although the naming is not really consequent, since the 3 series GT still exists.
I don't hate the interior, in fact I like it but . . . It lacks of je ne sais quioi factor to distinguish it with other BMW again it's not bad or anything but it needs something to make it feel 'this is the 6 series'

Fun fact: the chassis is based on 7series. If you look on the internet the distance between the wheels, you will see that is longer than the 5 series and is the same as a 7 series. You can think of this car as a 7 series for family. Just bought a 640iX with Luxury Line and 4 wheel steering. Amazingly comfortable and swift in corners aswell
From 2017-2019 BMW has made one of my favourite interior design, it’s just that I wish that BMW could have put a few new tweaks here and there like how Mercedes did with the new S-Class. The rear design is not the BEST but it is really nice.
Hi Matt, the reason you had excessive tyre noise was the size of the tyres - you said you had 19inch, but the M-Sport you are driving has M-Sport 20 inch wheels and the back tyres are even wider than the fronts ,therefore a hell of a lot of rubber in contact with the road and it follows, more noise than standard 18 inch tyres. I own the M-Sport and I don’t mind as the car is fabulous as it’s ‘all cars to all people’ in one.
Dude this thing is a Master of Practicality, I can fit my xl size 29 inch wheel MTB in it without taking its wheels off. And I have never been able to do that in a car before.

Still find it very odd but there you go From what I’ve read it would seem it’s more to do with their naming strategy than anything else (quote below) ‘Mind you, it’s not as odd as the car it replaces. The old one was called the 5 Series Gran Turismo. BMW remains a trifle embarrassed about building a common-person’s hatchback, so it positions the GT as a luxury five-door coupe. And as a coupe it now qualifies for an even number in BMW’s naming strategy.’
B Scooter you are absolutely right with the wired design of the 5 GT, but I have changed my opinion after I saw one on the street, because what is different is that seeing it in person it did not look that high as is it looks on photos, because on photos you just cant see those proportions it’s much longer than I thought. At the and the design is pretty much good it might have a strange look to it and not be on a level with an Audi a7, but you have some extra comfort and also legroom.

Nice car, very spacious an looks great too, only thing I'm not a fan of is the frameless windows at front, had a Mustang before an was a nightmare getting into car on frosty mornings or evenings after work, had to always make sure had scraper an de-icer on me , so this has put me off getting one of these, if only it had normal doors with frames round windows at front then it be perfect 👌
If I were to own one BMW this would be my choice. It does absolutely everything you need from a family car. Aside from lacking Android Auto and a slightly worse interior than the A7, its perfect.
I drove 430i with automatic transmission and 258 KM in Denmark and I loved the car and suspension! Infotainment system is not perfect, good luck to those who want to switch off active sat nav- real headache, also on reverse gear some alert pops up instead of cam rear view, each time I had to press stearing joystick to deactivate it- mega annoyed with it. Apart from that the car is awesome! I recommend

it is most definitely a 6 series, based on 5 series with features of the 7 series. The 3 GT is part of the F generation. For the G generation there wont be neither a 3 GT nor a 4 GC. My guess is they will call it 4 GT based on the new 3 series with features of the 5 series. Eventhough the 6 GC is moving up to become the new 8 series ( competitor for the s coupe) BMW will still need something to compete against cls/ e coupe and a7, there will be a "real" 6 series, prolly after launching the new 4 series in 2019...
I just wanted to thank +carwow for this video. I always used to think the carwow offers were for "used" or "demo" cars - or at best cars that were already on the dealer floor, built and ready. NOT SO! I entered my ideal 630 GT specs in the carwow website, AS WELL AS the optional extras. I had quotes of 15%, 18% and 20% discount! I finally decided on one of them - which is a great deal. It's rare that I see a deal and am either 1) able to use it, 2) it applies to me, or 3) is what I actually want. I'm not even someone special. Just some random fat guy, buying a nice car. But on this occasion, I was able to spec a once in a lifetime perfect, brand new BMW. I am really excited. I used to have a 530d GT (as well as a 740iL, 530i, 330Ci and 728i), so I am quite familiar with BMW. My 530d GT was an amazing car that I could take everything in - and this one promises to be even more so. In fact, the boot alone (with seats up or down), is slightly (11 litres) smaller than my Toyota Landcruiser (Prado for non-UK countries). That is pretty respectable. Now to wait for the delivery date! Is it wrong to put in leave for the day? Maybe make it a long weekend...

I have a 640i - brilliant. Almost impossible to get one now as the 6 series is no longer imported in to the UK.
I own a GT 640ix, I have to say it is one of the best cars I owned... I love the shape too

the only thing i dislike about BMW is the electric steering since the F series began. It really took that feeling of the road away, the thing i enjoy the most about the BMW.

@@glennwilliams2950 I think you did the right thing! The 6 GT is waaaaaay better than the CLS! It has more leg room, more interior space in general and a bigger luggage room

Isn't this more comparable with the Porsche panamera ? Why are you comparing it to the cls and a7 ?
Please look up the price difference of the two vehicles before you comment.

The pointless cubby space is there for when you option the 4 zone climate control........... I own a 6 Gt and I have that option. BTW I love my car so much have had it for already 3 years.
it is most definitely a 6 series, based on 5 series with features of the 7 series. The 3 GT is part of the F generation. For the G generation there wont be neither a 3 GT nor a 4 GC. My guess is they will call it 4 GT based on the new 3 series with features of the 5 series. Eventhough the 6 GC is moving up to become the new 8 series ( competitor for the s coupe) BMW will still need something to compete against cls/ e coupe and a7, there will be a "real" 6 series, prolly after launching the new 4 series in 2019...
The 3 series GT won't be produced anymore

not the best on looks agreed, but if you are regularly driving a family of 4 or 5, could be a decent option.
i like it, would defently buy this over the new a7 if i had the money. only the cls looks better in my opinion.

I just wanted to thank +carwow for this video. I always used to think the carwow offers were for "used" or "demo" cars - or at best cars that were already on the dealer floor, built and ready. NOT SO! I entered my ideal 630 GT specs in the carwow website, AS WELL AS the optional extras. I had quotes of 15%, 18% and 20% discount!
I finally decided on one of them - which is a great deal. It's rare that I see a deal and am either 1) able to use it, 2) it applies to me, or 3) is what I actually want. I'm not even someone special. Just some random fat guy, buying a nice car.
But on this occasion, I was able to spec a once in a lifetime perfect, brand new BMW. I am really excited. I used to have a 530d GT (as well as a 740iL, 530i, 330Ci and 728i), so I am quite familiar with BMW. My 530d GT was an amazing car that I could take everything in - and this one promises to be even more so.
In fact, the boot alone (with seats up or down), is slightly (11 litres) smaller than my Toyota Landcruiser (Prado for non-UK countries). That is pretty respectable.
Now to wait for the delivery date! Is it wrong to put in leave for the day? Maybe make it a long weekend...

you forgot that it has a spoiler that you can remotely change with a button on the driver side i could be wrong but the other 3 and 5 GT series do have it nice video tho👍💯
