@@peterghoulferatu3555 This is my vote. Saying the xenomorph is a bit easy, even though I LOVE those movies. The alien in The Thing is super. Easily my favorite horror movie.
It's a tricky classification about a distinction between witch and sorceress or such, but Madame Mim does seem to fit, Maleficent strikes me more as an evil sorceress (and in the original story I think she's supposed to be an evil fairy, not a witch like a human)
Fun Fact: Joe Flaherty’s role as the dad, Harold, in Freaks and Geeks, ALSO had him portraying a vampire. He dressed as Dracula for the Halloween episode. Also, no killer clowns? No Pennywise or Killer Klownz from outer space? lol. Great video though!
I really hate to do too much shameless self promotion, but a friend and I have a podcast in which we discuss our favorite monsters from different catagories and sub genres of horror and then have our audience vote for their favorites to crown the "King" of each one (for example we've done King of the Zombies, King of the Kaiju, and King of the Vampires) we then plan to pit each King against eachother to decide who is the true king of the monsters. It's a lot like this discussion. It's called King of the Monsters Podcast and it's a lot of fun. Anyways, thanks for the great video Mike and James and please excuse my shilling. 😁
His movement is what sells the character. Because he's essentially a skeleton held together by the bare minimum, he has a slinky-like movement, which makes it creepy.

I think Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the best Mad Scientist. Cuz he want learn the dark side of himself and as Mr. Hyde he's still a man of science.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I was expecting.
Me too!!! That mad scientist is great!!!
Hmmm I have never seen The Re-Animator. Your comment encourage me to watch it.
Seeing grown men wearing Mortal Kombat costumes and talking about vampires and werewolfs are one of a few reasons I come to this channel.

It's Subzero and Shredder. Shredder is from turtles.

There needs to be a "Honorable Mentions" for each category, for sure. "Best Space Monster" and no mention of The Thing...

Elizabeth Hurley played the Best Devil by far, surprised she wasnt mentioned.

Dog Soldiers has the best characters in my opinion. Werewolves second.
I expect “Godzilla” “The original King Kong” and “Gremlins” somewhere in here for sure.
