Guys, I always have my hands on the wheel and feet ready to react to a situation. If you watch many of the top RUclipsrs doing v12 videos, most are completely hands-free and their feet are nowhere near the pedals. Would you say this is safer? No
v12 does not react to the scroll wheels anymore. This is pointless.
I've been wondering about this. I've seen some v12 RUclips videos that still use the wheel, whereas others show it doesn't work. Wonder if it's different by model/year. Mine is a 2022 M3LR on v11.
I’m on V12 12.3 u can use the scroll wheels on V12 as well.
@@Lakeshow2824 nice
Sometimes the scroll wheels don't work, but 95% of the time they do. I wonder if that's on purpose from Tesla?
If you are conscious after an accident and our arms aren't broken, make sure to reach over and remove any gadget you install on your Tesla that changes your warning system. Insurance companies and tesla does look at stuff like this to protect themselves. And hopefully a "fault" has not been created to that indicates tampering.
Indeed, tampering with a safety feature is a big No-No, with insurance companies.
Don't waste your money, this method WILL STOP WORKING WITH THE NEXT FSD VERSION.

Still works. Even on latest version pushing out now.
150 for a chip? No thanks ill keep the nagging
5:10 i open the cover of the back center console. But there nothing there. Its empty
My tesla is 2023 Tesla Model Y
What should i do ?
There was an update yesterday. Does it still work?
still works on 2024.26.7. Waiting for the next update
will this work on a 2020 S? I have no cabin camera but I feel like I have to jerk the wheel to an UNSAFE amount.
No sorry
I thought this version of the TSL scrolled through right speed scroll wheel and not the left volume one.
scrolls volume wheel. You can't heard a difference. thanks for watching.
@@BCTeslaGuy I see their website has been updated and they changed it. Now says “Please note: We have recently upgraded TSL6. The newly upgraded version of TSL6 can only trigger speed adjustment.”
I reached out to see if I can get the updated version for review. no word yet. thanks for pointing this out.
does it work with the most recent update? It does wheel up and down but tesla now doesn't give much warning but just give you a strike.
still working on fsd: 12.3.6 and Tesla software 2024.26.7. The camera is still watching and will notify you if you are not attentive, looking at your phone or screen for too long. May be different when the next fsd shows up on my car. thanks for watching
Is it available for 2020 Tesla Model S?
Their website lists for Model 3 & Y. sorry
Just wear sunglasses and keep some weight resistance with one of your and on the wheel and you won't get nags.
The steering wheel counter-weight doesn't work any more. Tesla fixed that with the latest update. You want this chip now instead: ruclips.net/video/OpRmpOGEm1k/видео.html
This is a bad idea.
Also, I heard FSD 12 scroll wheel no longer works when done by a human. I assume this also means this device won't work either.
I heard that too. Might wait till I do my long 22-day 8k mile trip before upgrading to v12. Haven't got the notification yet to upgrade. Someone will come up with a device to get around the steering wheel too soon as the car only needs to be told someone is appling pressure and that may be able to done via obd direct connection. It's a cat and mouse thing
You do realize, that if you have an accident, with that device attached, the device might compromise your insurance claim. 🤨
Has anyone used this on the model 3 refresh? If so which one do I order?
You mean the 2024 Model 3. No this version doesn’t work with it. You’ll. Need one of the versions that installs in the steering wheel instead.
FSD v12 breaks this. Don't waste your money.

@@BCTeslaGuyjust got the update and scroll wheels still work to eliminate nag. I don’t have the chip. But I know it’s now recommended to install the chip on the right scroll wheel.. with the new AUTO speed feature it doesn’t adjust anything and it still eliminates nagging. Thinking about grabbing a chip.
@@BCTeslaGuyalso forgot to mention we have the same car 22M3LR
If you're listening to music, is the changing of the volume noticeable?
Not at all. You try this out yourself. Click one Click up the down
Latest version changes the speed instead of the volume now.
@@audiovideophile5317 Just checked their website and you are correct. Doesn't really matter, it will scroll up/down 1 click so fast it won't be noticed. Same as the volume. thanks for the update
I like it. I wish Tesla would get there . I’m sure they will. The nags have gotten really bad so if you happen to look over at your wife and say something when she screaming and nagging at you, you can’t do it for very long. You have to look back at the road because Tesla is also nagging at you and then she gets more mad at you and starts hitting you and then you crash so the nag is really, causing a lot of accidents. ……..
Total joke for lefty’s in case you didn’t catch that.
This still works with the 12.3.4. It’s so nice to just have your hands on the wheel not have to worry it stutter constantly happening. Now if they could just get rid of the phantom breaking, which seemed to come back with version 12.3 on the highway, driving around town works great except for the acceleration of the stoplights. Thanks for watching my video and I enjoyed reading your comment.
Doesn't work anymore 😢
mine still works with FSD 12.3.6. Can you turn it one manually with the scroll button? if not, you may want to unplug and plug it back it. thanks for watching
This is genius. I’d say use it until Tesla makes it impossible. Sure the nags are there for a reason but other companies just use the eye tracking and that should be enough. You shouldn’t need to have both. Will definitely bring purchasing this for my Tesla asap. This wouldn’t affect safety at all because you’re still supposed to pay attention anyways.
I agree. The nags only serve the purpose of knowing you are still awake, etc. The seat has sensors to know if you are sitting in the seat, and the camera watches to see that you are paying attention and not distracted. I wish they relied more on the camera to know that you are looking around, paying attention to your surroundings. Moving the steering wheel or scrolling the button every 5-30 seconds doesn't have anything to do with safety or you averting an accident if you are truely paying attention. You are should still have your hands on the steering wheel, feet ready to react to a situation and constantly scanning your surrounding for potential safety concerns. thanks for watching
As mentioned in the video, I always keep my hands on the wheel and my feet ready to react to a situation. I agree I'm 100% responsible while behind the wheel. But this doesn't mean I would be held responsible for an accident if someone were to run into me, and they are responsible for the accident. Thanks for watching.
does this effect volume settings like turning it up or down
not at all. thanks for watching
The latest version of the model now works on the right speed scroll wheel instead of the left volume. Normal function still works though as before.
@@audiovideophile5317 checked their website and see the change. It scrolls the wheel up/down 1 click so quickly you won't notice it. Thanks for watching and the update.
Just got the update and scroll wheels still work to eliminate nag 🤷🏻♂️
Ya just got the latest update and it’s still works. V12.3.3
Yep, it works until Tesla puts out an update. Wouldn't take much to remove the convenience of a scroll wheel used with autopilot.
I agree. Wish they would use the camera more to know you are paying attention. The constant moving of the steering or scrolling takes away from you, focusing your attention on what's happening around you. No matter what they do, there will be an idiot out there sleeping or doing what they shouldn't.
You're right & I think that it has already been patched with the latest FSD version.
They have already done this .. as they should. Nag eliminators are stupid and dangerous, both for the occupants of the car and occupants of nearly cars. DONT USE THEM. If you cant nudge the steering wheel from time to time you shouldn't be driving at all, let alone using autopilot.
It's my understanding that scroll wheels o not stop the nag in v12. Such a shame ... everytime I've gotten in trouble it's because of holding the wheel too tightly to avoid nag and then FSD disenguages without me realizing. It's happened many times. I'm paying attention! My eyes should be on the road not the screen to see the nag warnings ... even the beep gets lost among other noises.
yeah, V12 already doesnt allow you to use the scroll wheel to clear the nag.... lol, this was short lived
Is it still working after V12 FSD update, I am interested
Yes, I have FSD 12.3.6. thanks for watching
This hack will be quite easy to detect (for Tesla). I wonder how long it will take for them to disable the hack alltogether.
Still works now with FSD 12.3.6 but that can change anytime. Chevy Super Cruise allows full hands-free driving and towing. Tesla needs to allow this too. Hopefully one day. thanks for watching
So you can't listen music because i constattly mutes volume?
It clicks up and down. You tell the difference. You try it for yourself. Listen to your music and click down or up and then back.
It's nagging you FOR A REASON.
ya, these people are stoopid
The camera can see me holding the wheel and watching the road. The nags make no sense
