- Mixing things up a bit this month....
Because the Love Notions Laundry Day Tee is such a quick sew I decided we would just sew it all in one shot. Please feel free to break it up into smaller pieces if you'd like, but in case you are wanting to get it done quickly it's all here in one video 💕
I did the v-neck version this time, and while I LOVE how it turned out, it's not quite perfect so hang in there with me as I go through that step 😬
I will be sewing first and then overlocking! I don’t trust myself yet!
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I've been out of the sewing game for a minute between having a baby and a big move. I totally understand that! I hope that you have been able to have more time to practice your overlocking and you are feeling more confident with it. If not let me know and I will work on making a series about it 💕
I've made 23 variations of the LDT and all assembled with only my serger (I have yet to do a V-Neck version). I used to hem and topstitch the neck with a medium zigzag stitch on my sewing machine, but then I got a coverstitch machine and I use it for those all the time now.
The Arms “eye” is how it is pronounced and I don’t know how to spell it without looking at a pattern. I was excited to see that you are doing this sew along because I am wanting to make one and I make fewer mistakes if I can review it first. I love your fabric!!!
It's the Armscye and scye means arm or leg hole unless specified.

Armscye is pronounced Arm sigh...at least that's the way I was taught.....I could be wrong, it's not an easy word

What coverstitch machine do you have. Looks like it works like a charm. I too love wearing a v neck but like you am too particular to be satisfied. Thanks and great to see your videos

I apologize, this was one of my very first videos before I got my current filming setup. Maybe I will have to redo it some day 💕
