Thank you for posting this video and Thank You for ensuring that your presentation had SUBTITLES for those of us who live in the "Silent World" like me....And I need to repalce my clutch in my Citroen c4 grand picasso 2013 model {Mk1}
I’ve got a Citroen c4 Picasso 2011 vtr+ semi auto paddle shift and I’ve got major gear box oil leak recently. It’s like clutch is slipping when driving and car revs up without it catching the gear properly. Once I stop and look under car I can see oil leaking from underneath. I first thought it was the actuator high pressure pipe leaking but when I took battery out and all it’s trays, then removed the near side inner wheel arch, this where the reservoir bottle is for actuator but the actuator reservoir bottle was full, I’ve got a new pipe for it and oil, but I’m not convinced it’s not this but I’m going to change the pipe anyway as I had already removed the pipe from the top end of the actuator. I’ve got oil all over the bottom of the car gear box and near side bottom of my car. I put in 1.8ltres of new oil & car run fine for a while then same thing like gears slipping and oil coming out the bottom, you can’still drive it but it over devs like it’s slipping again without gaining too much speed. I’m confused what it could be. I’m wondering if the oil is leaking from the short shaft that gos into the gear box maybe it’s leaking from there. Any suggestions? If it had been a clutch why would oil leak out bottom. I’m not sure.
!!!Totally cool video!!!. Doing the clutch right now on Mk1 1.6VTI 120HP C4, (done already on Audi A4 B5, 1.8 125HP), but this... the real PITA job 😠. I've done almost everything you've said .... just didn't remove that lower stud (E8 socket).... kinda didn't wanna because its stud (don't like removing them... I guess it's bad experience hahah ... especially out of aluminium)... and, ouu boy I was wrong.... was fighting with nasty gearbox for a couple of hours ... and finally gave up and removed that freakin' stud. It simply goes that if you don't remove it the subframe removing job awaits (with all the crap on it ... funny yay). There simply ain't enough space for manipulation, also maybe because it's Mk1 version of C4. I've also removed the flexible exhaust pipe section and the lower engine mounting because that insane lowering of the engine twists those rubber bushings so much that they break... brilliant really.... I mean stupid gearbox mount... "what a design"... you just cannot take it off because stupid mount stud washer covers the last bolt... but in the end I'll be also replacing all the engine mounts.... brilliant, brilliant... I didn't use gearbox jack but rather hang the engine. Thanks Again for the Video!!!
Thank you for your video. I gonna change for my Peugeot 3008 (2012) 1.6 Hdi (82 KW / 112PS) clutch. What is the torque on the flywheel bolts, the clutch bolts and the slave cylinder bolts?
Ah good to see im on right track Hi is there a lock position for the shifter forks on like a saab 93 Local box center quoted 9 hr book time lol o bull book times
Your a fkin genius, i have no experience but love trying things but this clutch thing is awfully hard, just going to follow it as i have a problem with my ds4 and hope its not the clutch but if it is then im following your vid whilst i do it only thing is i dont have ramp so might get crushed if i screw up
@@diydaly thanks i have a question what it is when i accelerate it makes cranky grizzly type of sound for like few seconds but pulls every gear but i dont know if its clutch or not how do i find out before i know what to fix or change
Do You Need a Wheel Alignment after this ? Also I feel some vibration on a clutch pedal when I barely touch it and hear some noise is it time to replace the clutch ?
I have a problem on a Citroen C4 II, the clutch squeals a lot, the sound comes from the cylinder, is it possible that the piston guide on the cylinder is broken or does the ball on the thrust bearing fork need to be lubricated
How to refill CITROËN C4 II HATCHBACK 1.6 HDI 115 114 HK 1560 CCM DIESEL? Is it with already filled and ready pouch or by refilling existing pouch? What color (orange, green, black) has connector if it matters, which pouch is correct, it has specific model name/number? Is eolys or other fluid from liquid moly etc correct?
Tried this on my b9 but did not sucseed. the bolt into the gearbox beside the dpf was rounded. So with no propper tools i had to give up. Do you know if this bolt is threaded in the engine side? I was thinking just cut of the head of the bolt. to get the gearbox out. 23:15

Hi, just curious what is the most expensive part in the c4 Picasso?
Excellent instructor should teach student mechanics in college
👍👍 thanks for the comment , nice to hear 😃
What’s the torque on the ball joint? Thanks
Is the clutch soft or hard now? It's hard on my car
great video guys well done 👍

Yeah that’s most likely clutch / dmf related , shouldnt need tracking
What do you use in your spray bottle as a cleaner?
Brake cleaner

Hi, I have 2012 Citroen C4 hatchback. It has EGS gearbox. Car has done 108k. Do you service egs too. Thanks

Hiya, I am just wondering how much would it cost to fix a Citroen C4 cactus clucth 2016?
will vary massively depending on your area on the brands of parts etc used

You will usually hear it click in and out as you operate the ac
