    I spent the last year watching Anthem slowly murder my husband for profit by denying the medical necessity of lifesaving surgery, then misfiling (almost certainly intentionally) their own paperwork every step of every appeal process to drag it out as his body fell apart in an excruciatingly painful way. I'm very certain they wanted him to die instead of getting surgery to save money and I had no practical recourse beyond spending 10-20h on the phone every week begging for them not to make him die. Anyone who's been through anything like that (a disturbing % of Americans) understands how this happened.

      I am sorry for your loss. however to characterize the insurers action as murder is probably not accurate.If their actions were murderous law enforcement in your area would certainly have taken the facts to a grand jury for indictment. If the insurer were guilty of a tortious act you would certainly have multiple grounds for a civil suit.I am going to take an educated guess that the surgery in question was experimental hence the denial.I may be wrong. murdering the CEO is not the answer as he will be replaced by someone of similar philosophy. hopefully (and this is just a suggestion) you may wish to Chanel your grief toto try to change the law so as to expedite the appeal process greatly..Good luck in the future and again my sincere sympathy for your loss..

    REMEMBER Jury nullification means that a jury can decide to acquit a defendant even if they believe the defendant is guilty, often because they think the law is unjust or improperly applied. This allows jurors to use their sense of justice to override the legal standards in a specific case.

    Jury nullification refers to a jury's knowing and deliberate rejection of the evidence or refusal to apply the law either because the jury wants to send a message about some social issue that is larger than the case itself, or because the result dictated by law is contrary to the jury's sense of justice, morality, or fairness.

      @kikiretzorg1467 actually they have the Gun locked up in the evidence room. So you won’t see a Gun until trial. He broke a few gun laws. Plus connecting him to the murder won’t be hard. Since it was the same weapon used in the killing. Facts don’t care about you feelings, and Luigi will be having pre existing conditions after his big cell mate named bubba is done with him.

      @angeldaroseli3031 I guess you don't know what Jury Nullification is.

  • @brandonkwak
    @brandonkwak Year ago +5

    Jury nullification refers to a jury's knowing and deliberate rejection of the evidence or refusal to apply the law either because the jury wants to send a message about some social issue that is larger than the case itself, or because the result dictated by law is contrary to the jury's sense of justice, morality, or fairness. Essentially, with jury nullification, the jury returns a “not guilty” verdict even if jurors believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant broke the law. This can occur because a not guilty verdict cannot be overturned and jurors are protected regardless of their verdicts.

      @valeriehofmann2615my grandpa has worked for 40 years. Still worked even after he retired. Raised 3 kids who all went to college.
      He was making 100k a year at one point and always paid his bills and took care of our family first.
      Always paid his insurance on time with the same company for 20 + years. He had to get his leg amputated a few months ago.. and guess who denied his claim? The insurance he paid for.
      Rarely do I get this triggered at a random RUclips comment. You wouldn’t be able to put the hours in that my grandfather did in TWO lifetimes.
      What an incredibly ignorant comment. Define “real job”. You’re a scourge.
