Nier and Nier Automata music makes me nostalgic and melancholy, and I've never played either of them. Weight of the World [both versions, in different ways] in particular is one of my favourite songs in all of gaming [which is no slouch, since I have played a LOT of games over the years]. It evokes something deep in me that is hard to explain.
An old instructor said all the time that story is most important. You can have the prettiest and most epic piece to ever exist, but if it's not in-service to a story or emotion, then it just won't connect how it could.
Good video as usual, I've never played Nier or any game in the series except for Drakengard 3...if that's even the same series? Anyways gonna go play Nier fourteen times and try to understand it.
I've actually never played Drakengard 3 myself but my understanding is they're loosely connected, specifically that some parts of Drakengard 3 make up the background lore for the NieR series as a whole.
I can't control what the people watch; I find it's best not to worry about it. I don't make anything I don't want to make, and I never thought I'd get paid for this anyway. Whatever works, works.
"A NieR game is like an onion" is going to live in ny head forever. Truly a perfect summary of the ways in which Yoko Taro is an emotional menace.

I only played automata but this still hits hard AF. Actually made me cry a bit. But as a dark souls fan a good score always hits me in the feels.
True shame it seems like the algorithm buried this vid. It's beautiful, fells like a true work of heart.

How does it feel that this has less views than the pokemon video

You should review xenoblade series score and story.
