@@stephenhawkins7375 Appreciate that. I thought I might get a geological review of the stones in the dam or the location in the topography from you (LOL)
I didn't know that you were into birds, too. My wife and I have a a bunch of feeders, birdhouses, and birdbaths, and I have cameras pointed at all of them. In the case of the birdhouses, I have cameras inside of them. In any case, A month or so ago I was flying my drone over a beaver pond not far from my house. I was looking for beavers, when a FREAKING WHOOPING CRANE flew under my drone! They are critically endangered and they aren't know to live, or even pass through, eastern North Carolina. I didn't know what it was when it flew under the drone, otherwise I would have panned the camera to follow it. I only identified it after I got home. Here's a link to the video. This is in Archer Lodge along Buffalo Creek. ruclips.net/video/iHP5kh3qQXs/видео.html
@@EdwardsOutdoorAdventures Not really. It's out of focus and overexposed, but that's clearly a whooping crane. There are a few frames where the black wingtips are obvious. The only other bird it could be is some sort of pelican, but it's not the right shape for a pelican. I remember when I saw the shadow I thought a dragon was flying towards me.
@sam1174 That sure looks like a Whooping Crane. I left a comment directly on the video. Would love to make sure the observation gets reported. Very exciting to see !
Webb’s mill history, well done ! Best part of this paddle are Ben and Taylor ❤️

Canoeing... birds... drones... if you tell me you're into poker and Jaguar cars I'm going to assume we're long lost brothers. 😃
That’s INCREDIBLE
Great drone shot.
