Agreed. I do like how they have nailed that 90s Saturday Morning magazine show vibe. Reminds me of those shows I used to watch as a kid. I will let Nath and Dave argue over who gets to be Ant and who is Dec (Hollie is obviously Cat Deeley...)... Perhaps that is a reference only British people will get :-)
I love it. Right up there with the Tuesday Checklist and Friday Features for me. There's nothing quite like the one on onesie challenge.

Ahh... The High Road... And once you are able to finish it, Slippery Climb is waiting right around the corner, to make you suffer all over again.
Honestly I don't find Slippery Climb that bad, the red gem was easy for me.

Most of the times I tried to jump on the rope, I ended up falling off the bridge. So I took the traditional route.
Slippery Climb has been the toughest level for me, so far. I must have tried it at least 20 times.
I hated slippery climb and died many times but when I tried for the red gem I got it first go... also I find the high road easy and have beaten the first game 100% but I'm stuck in the levels before the n gin boss in the second game.
I've been stuck on the HIgh Road and have rage quitted the game for over a week. But just saw the rope technique and decided to give it a go. Just perfected the level, getting all the boxes, and never saw the continue screen once! Thanks PS Access!
Dave and Nath's lack of holding the jump button when bouncing on the turtles is really frustrating. So many short jumps into holes. Rob even stood behind and watched it happen without a word!
Does anyone else think Rob looks like a genie standing with his arms crossed like that?

I think you guys did pretty well with The High Road. Pro tip: If you hold X while you start to move forward, just before you land on a turtle, you're able to bounce higher and further. Also, I think that's the same level with a secret path at the bottom of the screen where you start. Has 3 extra lives but you got to jump where the apples are since there's an invisible path.
The one thing I'll never forget about Crash Bandicoot is the bonus demo game of Spyro the Dragon lol that was great I love watching this bringing back childhood memories 😜

I got the platinums for Crash 2 & 3 and The High Road was what was keeping me from the platinum in Crash 1. I could NOT get a gold relic in the time trial. I nearly gave up, but I FINALLY beat the trail with a Platinum relic, and now my screenshot for the last trophy in Crash 1 is my glorious, shiny relic for The High Road.
Now have a real competition, 3 game overs each at the time trial, best time wins, loser eats the onsie.

Just have to say, when Nath asked for more comments because they were tipping a bit, my heart skipped a beat. He looked and sounded exactly like one of my primary school teachers warning the class they were being just that little bit too noisy.

Playstation Access is sooo good!!!! Got me back into gaming after years out. Just want to say thank you guys!!!!
A game that really needs to be noticed is Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. A darkly atmospheric descent into madness that right from the very beginning grips you and won't let go. The sound design and the voice acting are just on a whole other level, the graphics are incredible and evocative and Senua is another powerful, and also very human, female protagonist to join the Playstation pantheon. Another aspect that won't be touched on due to the stigma around it is how they approached mental health.
Although I don't suffer with anything anywhere near what Senua goes through in the game it still echoes my own struggle with mental health and there were some moments while playing the game where I started to cry because I knew those feelings and I'd been through some of those experiences myself. Hellblade is another argument for video games being an art form as well as opening the discussion on a subject that's often been taboo or handled poorly in video games. It's an incredible journey and one you won't forget. It's disturbing, confusing and at times downright terrifying and it's all by design. Do yourself a favor and play it with headphones on. Ninja Theory has knocked it out of the park!
Just started it and so far totally agree. Looks incredible. My only concern.... I downloaded the theme and now my PS4 is whispering at me! At least I hope it is...
Gaming confession
Once when my parents and my sister where on holliday and i stayed home, i played videogames all week from early in the morning, until late in the night, i didnt go outside at all, and only took a brake to either go to the toilet, or to get something to eat. I played 110+ hours in six days, and once i left the house i seriously thought "wow, these are some awesome graphics" btw, i got the platinums for all 3 borderlands in this week(with a friend) total of 28 platinums at the moment.

I once managed to persuade my brother (who is terrible at video games) to 1v1 me on Call of Duty: Black ops on the premise that I will only use a throwing knife against him.
So... I missed with my first chance to kill him, and he very terribly (like the fumbling newb) managed to murder me with the SMG (spray and pray technique).
One nil up he decided to quit out and never play me again. He has held a 100% record over me for the last seven years, and refuses to play me again. :'(

This was nearly a #excusesexcuses comment because the game was glitching and not giving me the trophy for knocking over the damn training dummies, but I got my first platinum for Horizon: Zero Dawn! Hey guys I have a suggestion, more playthtroughs would be awesome! I have only just recently started following the channel and have been a touch obsessive. I watched all the playthroughs you have as well as lots of gameplay vids. Also I have watched almost every friday feature dating bacj years. So many in fact I can't get that bloody theme song out of my head lol. Keep up the great work guys. Subscriber for life.
gaming confession: I was playing prince of persia the two thrones when I was a kid and for some reason when I got to the final boss, who really isn't that hard to be honest, I couldn't beat him. It was in the evening and I must've made around 15 attempts before I had a nervous breakdown. I went to bed, but I couldn't fall asleep at all. I got up at 6 a.m. determined to destroy the boss and did it on my 2nd attempt. Still cried because of a video game tho xD
Y'all need more team effort challenges, where if you fail as a team, you both need to wear onesies!

I love trophy collecting - I got the platinum on TLOU and went back to get the extra trophies when the 'Grounded' difficulty came out.
One game got me though, Batman: Arkham Knight. I did everything, completed every side mission and collected every Riddler trophy in the process. Stupid Riddler...

I left one trophy until last though, I thought it might be fun. Oh, I WAS WRONG!!
"A leap of faith" - Complete 8 different jumps over 100 meters. Sounds simple enough.
I drove around Gotham for HOURS and jumped over so many ramps and eventually got sick of seeing them. There was no notification to tell you if I completed a jump, so it's impossible to know how many you have left to complete - I gave up after a long time of repeating the different jumps over and over and getting nowhere.
So whenever I see Arkham Knight on my shelf I just imagine it saying "Lol I win noob".
Forgot to get my comment in last week about really difficult moments in games but Leonardo's monumentally STUPID flying machine in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood caused me to use many expletives to describe a seminal mind in world history. He deserved it.
I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why it is in the video game universe, that just momentarily touching a tortoise results in instant death?
Guys, thank you for Access granted. Going through some rough days lately and seeing you guys (mostly Nathan) yell: GET IN THE ONESIE!! has cheered me up tons. I've been checking a lot of these videos and they're top notch. Too bad I finally realize what this #301club thing was all about, and the fact that you guys stopped featuring it a while ago.
I did Dead Space 2 on Hardcore. Probably one of the trophies I'm proud of. Took me two runs....the first one I saved too early and had to start over. It's not as bad as it seems, provided you remember where the exploders are (they'll usually instantly kill you) and prioritize getting the force gun to keep stuff off you.
I've never played Crash Bandicoot, but watching you guys made me laugh. Thanks!

Hey guys. The Crash Bandicoot segment felt more like a prototype for a lets play series than a traditional one on onesie. I could definitely watch a series of you guys playing Soulsborne and going death for death on it. I know you guys are busy and have lives and can't just sell out to become full time lets players :-) But I do think there is demand for a more long form video. Like an hour a week of Dark Souls would be epic, with some Podcasty Banter? Make it so! (The Star Trek VR episode was also gold!!!!)

Yesterday I got the last of the colored gems in the n sane trilogy and it was so satisfying. That red gem in Crash1 was a nightmare tho! So many times that first game has brought my temper to a boil, I've gone from 0 to 99 to 0 lives twice. Across the three I'm only missing about 15 clear gems, and I'm not looking forward to getting the time relics for the first two games now.
More Crash! I love it!

I too have been loving Pyre, safe to say I'm addicted. It has a 2 player head to head versus mode, I think it would be a good game for One On Onesie. Maybe next week.. or when Dave returns from holiday

That comment about CJ and the damn train... If I remember correct when you failed you had to drive all the way back to Smokes place to restart it. I spent way to much time doing that.
#confession. Back in the day i was playing doom 3. went through the training mission to the point where there gave you a gun and a flashlight. Then there was gonna teach me to use it, so the light got turned off while i was running around. I got so scared by it that i shoot the entire pistol clip and fell off the chair. Never to play anyfurther. 2 days later my brother completed the game and laughed told me it was easy xD i never forgot it.
I have never been so close to having a heart attack while watching Access Granted.
Lots of funny moments but the CJ part was funny as hell.

Excuses excuses: I fell in love with just cause when the third instalment came out on PS4, so I decided to go for the platinum. So far I respectably have every trophy except one: All the gears, which requires you to get 5 gears on every challenge in the game. I tried for about 6 months but couldn't get it, since it's come out on ps plus this month I've been giving it all my efforts but still haven't come anywhere near completing them all :(
I absolutely love this show! I've bought several games because you guys showed gameplay of stuff I had never seen before. Stikbold and Vostok Inc for example. Thanks for that! Keep it up and maybe get Dan in on some of the Tuesday Checklists! Poor guy never seems to get screen time.

Tuesday Checklist could be Archived Achievements or Conquered Quests, taking the checklist idea and applying gaming themes.
Gaming confession: Not a horrible thing considering how most people play but the first time I played Fallout 3 (as well as any game not a JRPG) I was surprised at the amount of freedom I had in the game. So I turned to my now husband and asked him if I could really kill this random NPC who you had to shake money out of for the bar owner at Megaton. He said try it and I did. My first kill of someone who hadn't shot at me first led to her head flying off and landing on the counter to stare at me...and my husband to NEVER let me forget what I did. As I normally play paragon to the max (or wasteland messiah in that game), it stands as the one time I attempted the murderous rampage and the start of teasing about the "poor woman" for the rest of my life.
What about calling the Tuesday video, Game Story Tuesday? They after all your guys' gaming stories. This was the best I could come up with. It's hard to put "Tuesday" in a pun or anything that sounds clever.
#GamingConfessions I was playing Crash Bandicoot with my friend but we had to go out to a close friend's birthday at night, we only stayed for a few hours and said we had work in the morning then went back to mine and proceed to play until our eyes turned red.

Going for the games i couldnt beat when i was a child. When dark souls first came out in 2011(11 years old at that time asnd wasnt at all a gamer) i bought it but i didnt knew anything about it, not even that it was marketed as the hardest game and of course i failed and couldnt get past the asylum demon. My mom then exchanged the game for Assassins creed Brotherhood which was much easier. In 2016 when Dark Souls 3 came out i bought and i loved it (Still actually playing it). Then i bought Bloodborne, Dark souls 2 and then finally Dark souls 1. I must say it was a cakewalk compared to Dark Souls 3.
Talk about Okage: Shadow King. It's been on ps4 for ages amd it wasn't mentioned in the store video when it came out or when it was on sale for like £7. Honestly think Rob and Hollie would love it.
Took me 2 and a half hours to watch this. (blame a six year old who I stupidly gave a long cardboard tube too, new sword/pointing stick) hellblade out tonight!!!! Staying up for it. Not seen any coverage on it recently on this amazing channel.
Excuses excuses.....I was obsessed when the tomb raider reboot came out and got 96% of the trophies. The last one was to reach level 60 in multiplayer, and the leveling system got so slow that I gave up being stuck at level 52 as it took hours just to level up......I just couldn't face it and I'm forever reminded of a platinum I was soo close to getting!
Trying to use the ropes just made this level harder. It was easier when I stopped trying to game it and just used the turtles like the game wants you to.
I'd hope that King of the Poos was being that clever because otherwise The Great Mighty Poo wins.

I would love to see a playthough off some sort on the channel. Loved the Skyrim Let's Play you did in december.
Maybe some sort of Dave's quest for a platinum. That way you don't really have to show the entire playthough but can instead pick and choose what exactly you want to show!

A game I'd love to see you talk about is Lock's quest. It was originally released on the ds but is now available on the playstation store. It's the best tower defense game I've ever played and it never got the following it deserved.
One game I would love to hear more about on here is Dark Chronicle... it's such an amazing game with a rich story and beautiful scenes such a shame we haven't got a third instalment to the Dark Cloud/Chronicle series
Bloodstarved is optional, the only reason you'd want to kill him is if you don't want to pay for the key to open the gates outside cathedral ward.

#ExcusesExcuses I was doing a pacifist/ghost playthrough of Dishonored and constantly had to reload saves in order to keep the playthrough alive (I am not ashamed of this.) What i am ashamed of is that once when getting spotted by a guard i decided to fire once before reloading and just so happened to hit his grenade resulting in a triple kill. I couldn't stand the thought of essentially erasing that moment from the playthrough so i gave it all up for a badass moment.
You guys tho 🤣 Dave, get.in.the.onesie
