A Dave play-through of Outlast 2 definitely needs to happen this Halloween, but my girlfriend also thought of another idea for you guys to do at your convenience. Have Dave do a play-through of the original Metal Gear Solid, with Nathan in the room with him for some quality banter. Rob is not allowed in the room, but he must watch them play from a separate room while being filmed so we watch his reactions. Three guys, two rooms, two cameras, one game.

It just goes to show what a good actor Rob actually is. When you see him on the Friday Feature, it's such a difference from him during Access Granted. Like how Daniel Day-Lewis is so placid in interviews, but so intense in his movies. Erm... ok, maybe a comparison beween Rob and a legendary multi-oscar winner is a slight step too far... but ya know what I mean.

The man is brilliant at what he does, I get what you're saying. Dave is actually a pretty good actor as well. I'm honestly still surprised these two aren't some massively famous comedy duo. They're hilarious together.
#excusesexcuses After a devastating break-up with a guy I'd been with (and gamed with) for 6+ years, I pretty much stopped playing games for about two years. I then met a great guy who asked me whether or not I was a gamer and I said, "I used to be." He looked up my PSN username and saw how good I "used to be" and was determined to help me get "me" back. We then shared games, played co-op together and I've gotten several trophies since (My favorite being Tekken 7's platinum trophy). He also got me into watching PlayStation Access earlier this year. ;) I'm happy to say that I've had my love for gaming rekindled. We've been dating for over two years now, so I guess this is a PlayStation love story, as well. (Thanks for helping me too, guys!)

It's really nice to see Dave so eager to do a horror game playthrough for halloween. I almost expected him to be reluctant, but no he's happily taking one for the team, looking forward to it, good luck ;)
It seems so hard to reach the end before the time runs out, my brother was watching over my shoulder and we wanted both of you to win (or lose?). Nath is overall better, Dave is better when it matters the most. We're playing it this weekend, wish me luck.

It's a nice coincidence that the first love story you shared mention Arkham Asylum because that's how me and my now wife first started dating.
8 years ago when Batman Arkham Asylum came out, the wife and I were aware of each other through friends of friends but hadn't ever really spoken to each other. We started messaging online as I had a PS3 & B:AA, and she really wanted to play it.
After we got talking she mentioned her and a few friends were planning to go to Alton Towers in costume for Halloween and she wanted to go as Harley Quinn, but didn't have a Joker.
Long story short, she came over and played Batman before we went out to a Theme Park dressed as The Joker & Harley Quinn for our first date and now we're married.
All thanks to Batman Arkham Asylum.

Also, the lets scare Dave playlist is so much fun to watch. #squadgoals also got my first platinum recently because of you guys on Horizon... wasn't as tough as i thought. Normally a bit like Dave and don't have the motivation to do everything!

I really like the idea of choosing your favourite trophies. One of my favourites was not so much difficult as unexpected. While playing "The Witcher 3" (sorry, Dave...) I became a little obsessed with Gwent. I was just thinking, maybe I should focus on something else, when I picked up the last card in the Skellige deck ...and got the achievement "I have a Gwent problem!". I laughed for a quite a while after I got it.
In his head Dave is just screaming "I do mind!! I JUST WANT A DAMNED PLATINUM!!!"

Not a PlayStation game obviously because these are on the SNES but thanks in part to Rob and Holly's enthusiasm about Final Fantasy, I sought out the other SNES FF games on emulator after playing one because I wanted to have a better idea of the magic they've talked about. I hope some day to play 7 somehow. They've made me an admirer of the series for life.

Nathan! I'm playing just cause 3, may have picked it up a little late as it isnt brand new, but i gotta say, the massive open world that still has an active environment i find quite impressive. #squadgoals - i need ALL of the gear mods.

I've recently returned to The Witcher 3 and have made it my mission to get the platinum trophy. I've painstakingly grinded out the vast majority and am now left with only completing it on Death March (coming up to isle of mist soon). I'll comment again if/when I get there. playstation access inspired me to get my first ever platnium trophy aswell. It was for lego marvel superheroes and since then i've also gotten the platnium for lego lord of the rings, lego star wars 3 and ratchet and clank: a crack in in time

Bloodborne for me is technically an AMAZING game. Great atmosphere, great music and awesome gameplay. However, I have made 3 different characters and still have not beat the game. My first character I didn't even get passed the second location. I stopped for about a year, went back and made a new one and got to the final boss(didn't kill him), made a new character and got to the last location and only needed to kill 3 bosses to win. I just can't get into it. Every time I play I just want to play dark Souls 3. I was basically forcing myself to play.

The platinum trophy that has bothered me the most is the oblivion walker trophy for Skyrim. Upon reaching falkreath and beginning the quest to speak to Lod a dragon came in and wiped him out. I searched for hours looking for Barbas and even cleared the cave to no avail. I proceeded to get every trophy and have not built the willpower to start over.
I knew I backed a winner picking Dave to win one-on-onise. Go on my son!
Seeing how loud one on onsies can get, I turned down the volume the lowest it could get. Nathan's shouting still managed to wake up my dog, got him to growl at the tv, then grumpily walk down the hall to throw himself down on the ground. It didn't help.
Speaking of dogs, #excusesexcuses, okami was the reason I bought a PS3 and got it when it first re-released years ago. I had plans to make it my first platinum since trophies didn't sound too hard. Yet 5 years later, the fishing trophy still mocks me. I tell myself at least I can hear the music again when I try again. No matter what, this is going to be my first plat!
I've been going for the Final Fantasy 15 platinum trophy for a while now but getting that fishing level up is so painfully slow
Kye The Vesperpool fishing spot next to the fishing shop is the fastest place to level up. Loads of rare fish. If you fish it dry a few times and youll level up quite fast.

Final Fantasy XV is one of my only Platinums because it is an easy one (my other one is Bloodborne so its all good). I got the fishing trophy because it was the only one I needed. Wasn't particular fun... I did it in during the choco-mog carnival in Altissia because you could get extra prizes for fishing and it was sort of killing 2 birds with one stone... made it a bit more of a game with more of a reward. Maybe get into the daily fishing challenges to make it a bit more fun for yourself. Buy the best lures available and the most expensive lines, so you catch better fish and the line breaks less easily. Makes it quicker as bigger/rarer fish mean more exp and the line lasting for more time is more efficient. Money well spent for the time it saves. It only took me an hour.... maybe 2 to get my fishing up from nothing to 10. Just chip away at it a bit at a time if necessary. Why do we do these dull things for trophies?

When I was on holiday I thought I saw Rob but it was sad because I was disappointed twice. First I thought I saw Kratos but then I realised it wasn't. Then, thinking it was Rob, I asked for a selfie and was instead met with German gibberish. Way to hit me when I'm down.
BRING BACK #squadgoals ... platinum trophies never appealed to me until you all inspired me a few months ago. I've now got 8 platinum trophies, with only a few that Rob would say are so easy, I should be embarrassed to have them! It's safe to say that I have the platinum bug now, and it's all thanks to everyone at Access! Keep up the good work guys, Oli

I would put this down as one of the best one on onesies to date. You both were so evenly matched, and that one split-second of peaceful silence at the end before Nath exploded in rage...it was perfect.
P.S. Nath, I would like you to know that I've started playing the Witcher 3. I'd been saving it for when university started up again because it seemed like it would be an amazing game to help get me through the months of suffering, and I think your constant Witcher-hype had something to do with it. I've gotten through the first few hours, and I haven't been disappointed.
When I bought the N-Sane trilogy my goals were to get three shiny platinum trophies, platinuming each game then moving on to the next... after realising you needed to do all the speed runs, I just decided on getting the 100% in each game(half way through Crash 2 atm) and maybe I'll go back to the speed runs... Maybe
So, I've been playing The Witcher 3 (finally setting up time for this massive game). Been thinking about going big and just try and get my first platinum ever, with this game. Honestly, how time consuming can this be? 300+ hours maybe? #squadgoals. By the way, I started playing it about two weeks ago, and I kind of stopped because a blackout corrupted my ps4 files and I had lost all my saved games (had only played beyond the Bloody Baron quests, but still). I was quite dissapointed to have lost my progress, until I saw one of your videos featuring the Witcher 3 and decided to take another stab at it. I also decided to download the PS Access Theme, and I get to see you guys whenever I turn on my ps4. Thank you for that, and thank you for making such great videos! Cheers from Colombia.

Excuses Excuses Excuses: Unable to finish and when I mean finish, I mean Platinum games due to a motorcycle accident. My right arm and hand along with many other injuries make things a little tricky. I am able to play but not at the level I once was. Also unable to travel to EGX or Gamescom etc. So really glad this channel exists and helps me through the dark days. Thanks guys and big Hugs. My favorite trophy that I have is from crawl it's called theatrical where you half to win the starting fight with out ever moving took me forever to get

So tempted by the 4K patch...
I completed my biggest squad goal last week, an hour before destiny 2 arrived in the post. I platinumed every single kingdom hearts game and did it in such a way that they now appear in order on my trophy list... worth it
I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years and for 3 of those years she has not cared about me gaming and just gaming in general until uncharted 4. After watching me play it she asked that I played it because she was so interested in the story and she has now even completed it (first game she's ever played properly). Because of her love for uncharted she's made me wait 2 weeks to play lost legacy so that she can watch it. It's been a hard 2 weeks

I'm not really one for the whole trophy game, I like getting them but I'm not too fussed. However, when I picked up skyrim special edition at the end of 2016, I all but became determined when replaying it that my #squadgoals had to be getting my first platinum. It shouldn't be too hard, it's just taking a long time to fit around university and work and stuff. Only 5 trophies to go now!
I was totally going to get my first Platinum on Bloodborne #squadgoal set.
I just had to play a bit of Dark souls 3 first, then I got into Metal Gear 5, then I got PS VR, only to get ready for Skyrim VR, and now PS+ makes me play inFAMOUS Second Son and I really need to get good at RIGS and OMG Child of Light is so good,
long story short, I've not played Bloodborne in weeks, but it is not my fault #excusesexcuses
Yeah, the battle sistem is amazing, I'm only 11 hours in and on my way to sky temple and it keeps getting better the more companions and gems I get.
#squadgoals So I recently picked up my second platinum trophy, this time for Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. I first heard about the game here on this channel so thank you, and what an amazing game it was. It has to be one of my favorites now from the last generation. My wife and I both play Destiny so when Destiny 2 released I told her I couldn't start that until I had my Ni No Kuni platinum, needless to say she didn't wait for me and played through Destiny 2 on her own, at least she had her headphones on so nothing was spoiled for me 8)
Opposite to #excusesexcuses - the most trophy I'm most proud of having in my Trophy Cabinet (if you will) is the Rushing Roulette bronze from Uncharted 4, where you have to defeat enemies with a pistol, machine gun and grenade in that order in 10 seconds. I'm most proud of it because I wasn't trying for it. I was in a slightly frantic state having just swam up to that small beach towards the end after you get stuck in that sinking shipwreck. I must have just blindly shot and thrown whatever I had handy because suddenly I got that little ping I had the trophy. It was a nice additional reward for having just completed an encounter where I couldn't start with a stealth advantage, which I absolutely love.

Finally beat Shovel Knight and the Plague Knight update after a long time of struggling with difficulty. Absolutely worth finishing, and every single *one pixel* off the platform death feels worth it when you put the final nail in the Enchantress' coffin. Now working on getting one of my favourite games platinum'd - Fallout 3 after I finally repaired my PS3 controller.

When you guys first launched #ExcusesExcuses I went and had a look at my trophy collection to see if I had any that fit the criteria myself, turns out I had loads and have since been on a mini crusade to fix this problem and last week (with a little help from my sister) got my 10th Platinum of my crusade. So thanks guys for starting the feature and to the access community for your stories to keep me on track. Love the channel and keep up the good work #NeedMoreDan
Also if anyone has Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell and can help me with the stupid online play trophy I'd love you forever. Is only one I am missing to Platinum that.

#SquadGoals Since the release of the 'Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy' at the end of June and I wanted to Platinum each one, before moving onto a new game. It wasn't easy, the time relic challenges seemed to be near impossible and it took me almost two months to Platinum each one. As frustrating as it could get, I still loved re-visiting my childhood classics and fingers crossed for a Crash Team Racing remaster.
I have recently got the platinum trophy for the uncharted lost legacy ( fantastic game) so now have all the platinum trophies on all uncharted games except for 4. So my #squadgoals is to go back get the 6 missing trophies on uncharted 4

#squadgoals So I was inspired to play The witcher 3 which I never heard before from Rob's Friday Feature, it was a good game and I felt right at home. There's this ridiculous and notorious marksman trophy 50 headshot with crossbow and the game has a bad headshoting system.. I shot for 100+ (I'm counting it) and it's just doesn't popped up to the point I just gave up.. and the next day I looked at all my trophies and then witcher.. heart and stone 100% blood and wine 100% and 97% for the base game.. only 2 trophies left.. the damn bronze (which should've been gold!) and the platinum, then I shouted "goddamnit" and rage entering the game and after 3 hideous hours loading the same place to farm the headshot it finally popped and how good it felt

Tuesday Trivia.
Please make Dave do something terrible near Halloween. No specifics. Just let your imaginations run wild. I'm just saying it's been a long time since I've heard Dave singing frantically trying to calm himself down and although it's truly terrible, not many things make me happier.
I recently bagged my first-ever platinum trophy - Horizon: Zero Dawn. It took me a while, though. It's easily one of my favourite games, but tracking down all 23 training dummies throughout the Nora valley was just tedious. I eventually just used a guide to find and smite the last couple of dummies.
Sure, I deprived the Nora tribe of their meticulously-crafted Grazer dummies, but what's the point of making a practice target if nobody's going to whack it with a spear from time to time?
In Final Fantasy XV, I'm one trophy away from platinum: 'Tortoise Toppler', earned by defeating the Adamantoise super-boss. I could probably do it by now; it's just a matter of finding the time, patience and enthusiasm, which is sometimes a super-boss on its own.

I only need one trophy to get the platinum in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and it's the trophy for collecting all the Lore Stones. However, the game freaked me out too much to play it a second time because I don't do well with scary games.
