Gaming Confession:
I had told my (now ex) girlfriend that I was going to bed and actually cut our conversation short so I could go to bed - long story short, my friends started messaging me saying they were about to have the greatest zombies match on Black Ops 3 (along with some Kill Confirmed naturally). And sure enough, at round 30 with all the perks, weapons and rituals done, I get a text - "asleep on Playstation then?" I had completely forgotten she had the PlayStation App and I had forgot to appear offline. Just as well the relationship wasn't going anywhere, unlike my K/D which is lit!

If i had a terminal illness, and was granted a "make a wish" wish it would be to spend a day with Rob and play loads of games, i really feel like Rob is the king of the access granted community! Dave and Nathan are great too. Im more typically drawn towards the videos that Rob is in. Rob you are the best, keep all the hard dedicated work you do!

Access Granted brings me back to the days of LBP for some reason. Maybe it's the whimsical feel or the music playing in the background, either way I love it. Great production, and great people. Thanks guys and gals!
Just want to say I love Access Granted. Work can be brutal on Mondays and you guys always make me laugh after I get home. I work in a pharmaceutical lab. I essentially make potions all day. There's an in game job I'd hate to have. Imagine the demand. ;_;

Gaming confession:
When I was dorming for university 2 years ago, us guys organized these Fifa tournaments in each others room (partially because one guy brought his PS3 to the dorm and another had a PC copy). I remember always getting beaten by this one proud dude, and damn he would never shut up about his wins until the next tourney. So I challenged him and his roommate and beat their Barcelona and wales with Real Madrid and the Ivory Coast international team, respectively.
Oh and I kept saying suck it whenever we meet because they actually played varsity football and I never did. I love rubbing it in their faces.
Love these guys and the rest of the crew. There's so much heart in this channel.
P.S. rob lowkey reminds me of myself.
At 22 minutes, Dave says he has played a game for hours and hours. He then qualifies it, by saying that it's a lot for him, at about 20 hours. The way Rob looks at the camera when he says that is the best moment in the video. He's calling Dave a "filthy casual" without saying a word. But I hear you Rob!
I'm subtly disturbed by how comfortable Rob looks in the Onesie. He's a Onesie natural. It actually looks really good on him.
Loved watching Dan and Rob play one-on-onesie this week. Clearly Dan is a sleeper agent when it comes to game competition.

Just a quick one to say thanks for introducing me to Stikbold, it is one of the best games I've ever played, so fun, but I definitely get as vocal as Nath when the mrs and I play which hasn't got me into trouble at all....
I just wanted to say i really enjoy all access granted and Robs Friday features even though I own an Xbox one as i think we should all get along and most of the games are multi platform nowadays
exactly, I bought an xbox one s a couple of months ago, mainly for forza, but if you can, just get both, why miss out because of some stupid fanboy war lol

Sharing the love for no man's sky Dave. Picked it up in the sale today and already put another 8-10hrs into it on top of whatever I did at launch. MUCH improved!
I love watching these videos because they remind me of my own family... people who play competitive co-op and the loser has a forfeit! In our case instead of a onesie the loser has to do the washing up. Once my dad played with me and when he lost he made me do the dishes anyway!!! I was OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!

#Gamingconfession I moved back in with my mum for the summer after finishing university and before going grad school. She lives on a farm so I was helping around the farm non-stop and barely had any game time. About half way through the summer I had to have surgery. I've healed incredibly fast and was feeling good after a few days, but I've been getting so much uninterrupted time with my PS4 that I've been playing up how bad I feel so she doesnt make me get out of bed. I'm using this time to try and platinum Skyrim.
Does anyone else think Dan looks like a cross between Nath and Dave?

My fiancé is incredible at Overwatch. She's constantly mowing down the enemy team with any character she chooses and has prestieged 3 times! The best part about this is the fact it's done on my PSN account and all my friends at work are in awe at how good my stats are! I conveniently haven't corrected them. :')

In Persona 5, there are days called Flu season, one of which lands on 11/14 which is a Tuesday this year. You could call that one specifically the Flu-day checklist and make it about RPGs and/or times sickness had messed your ability to play a gane.
Or, in the Access teams case, times sickness has caused mishaps at conventions like Rob's infamous E3 situation a couple of years back.

My best friend spoiled the end of Red Dead Redemption for me - I was about halfway through the game when I was at his house one day and he decided to boot it up to finish off some of the side tasks. He said I wasn't to worry as it won't spoil the ending, and then right then, as if it was scripted, I heard the character shout out "I'm Jack Marston!" - "Jack?!" I shouted at my friend - He then blurted out "Yeah so John's killed at the end by the law enforcement he's been helping the whole time." Our friendship took a bit of a bump that day.

It doesn't matter where he is, when the Witcher 3 is mentioned on Access Granted Nath will get a slight tingling sensation and he will know what has happened, he will then do whatever he can to get to rant about the Witcher.
Dave you should play Hellblade for your first platinum. It's an extraordinary game, you only need one playthrough to get the platinum and only one trophy isn't story based but you'll want get that trophy anyway as it's for listening to all the norse lore. The game is only 6 hours long, well worth playing in a couple of sittings and there's a great documentary about how they tried to accurately represent mental illness. Knowing someone with some of the same issues, the game truly moved me and even related to some of my own experiences of living with invisible disabilities. The game does say at the beginning that it's best to wear headphones to get the true effect. Great video as always thanks guys.
Hey Rob I had a really cool idea for a Friday feature being the "7 times we became the hero, but didn't even have a say in the matter", where you talk about the characters in games who became the protagonist or hero, but didn't really have a choice.
Options include:
Dragonborn/Skyrim
The Protagonist/Persona 4 or 5
Tidus/Final Fantasy 10
Etc...
The gaming confession part is my favorite please keep this up
Idea: Christmas time access olympics, pick 15 games all 4 of you guys play last place gets 1, 3rd gets 2, 2nd gets 3, 1st gets 4.
I'd like to give a shout out to deaf and partially deaf gamers. As much as I absolutely agree, that Hellblade is an incredible and unique game. With it's thunderous heart, beating in the right place.
Not everyone who plays it, can enjoy the full binaural sound experience. The developers really missed an opportunity - to animate the SUBTITLES, in a unique way. Only some of the voices are subbed. We missed so much.
How's about this: Each 'voice' could have had a unique colour. Popping up in different places onscreen and animated, to show the emotion of each voice. Colours blending and merging, as the voices do? Also, different size text to indicate volume and distance. Subtitle word art, in it's own right.
Thoughts, fellow deaf gamers?
As a suggestion for the "Tuesday Checklist" comments how about something like the "Tuesday Tune-Up" or the "Checklist Check-Up"

Hi Dave and Rob. Loved the show and really pleased to see Dan coming on as a pinch hitter. Anyway, the REAL point of this comment is that this week I got my first ever platinum. Come on Dave, if a 40-something dad of two can get a platinum (Fallout 4) then you can too.

Gaming confession: It was 2001 or 2002 I was in school and poor. My buddy had let me borrow Dynasty Warriors 3 on PS2. I never played the game or series before but fell in love after a couple story missions. We agreed to let me borrow it for a couple days and return it on Friday.. Friday rolls around and I handed him the case... empty and I swore to him I put the game in there and apologized and convinced him to let me hold onto the case so the disc doesn't get damaged when I return it on Monday (I just wanted the gaming book). I remember feeling so clever as I played for those two extra days... ah good times... I regret nothing.
I got the game for myself a few weeks later and unlocked Lu Bu I remember it being the biggest pain for me at the time and looking back thinking if they had trophies back then it would have definitely been one. Friday Feature idea maybe? Things that should have been trophies but aren't?
Also Rob's high note makes life worth living

At 13:42 I know what it's like. I wasn't going to search anything or get any spoilers for fallout 4's nuka world then 2 days before I got it there was a thumbnail for the Problem Solver. I literally waited 2 months of agonising pain not seeing anything then that. I was so angry I punched my wall and broken 3 fingers!
Playstation Access The segment where commenters can add input to the Friday Feature and Tuesday Checklist should collectively be called "Access Plus" as in Playstation Plus. It speaks for itself.
I just finished Resi 7 yesterday (my blood pressure can finally return to normal and healthy levels). Dave, if I can do it, you can do it.

My Mum got fed up of sending me to my room, knowing I would play my SNES and then PS1 (when it was released) So caught me off guard and said " David, go to the Bathroom. Until you can stop annoying your Sister" I subsequently stay there for a long time as my sister was a pain. Mum always knows best

Hellblade recommends wearing headphones on boot up i think. Something i missed and played the first 3hours through my TV speakers. It's whole different experience with a headset. I was pondering how the game would feel in VR.

Gaming confession. I played through the first three Metal Gear Solid games in two weeks. Probably should have done homework instead.
Gaming confession: So i was 1 bobblehead away from the plat trophy but as i was about to pick up the last bobblehead and the powef went out. I quicky ran to put on the generater and i booted up my ps4 only to find out i hadnt saved in 3 hours and all my progress was erased
So that replay bit is the sound Rob makes when Jeff rides him...
GAMING CONFESSION:
My ex girlfriend bought me a PS4 as an early birthday gift (6 days before my actual birthday). During my birthday, she broke up with me because she felt I'm not doing anything for our future (I have a job but the income won't be enough for a lifestyle she wants and want's me to earn more).
Months have passed when we were able to see each other. During our conversation, she asked me if I could give her back the money she spent for the PS4 she gave me. I happily gave her the money and it feels great knowing that I truly owned my PS4.
Now I'm playing the PS4 with my current girlfriend and her friends and I've never been happier in my life. :)
A game that I sucked at when I was a kid was definitely Kingdom Hearts. It took me years to beat that game and every boss fight had me stuck for days. The end of the game was particularly hard and my best friend and I had take turns fighting Ansem in order to beat him. Needless to say I didn't even attempt the optional boss fights...
Excellent one-on-onesie, but there were nowhere near enough innuendos!
Late confession for Final Fantasy XV: I bought and played FFXV. Love the game play, and my wife was interested in the graphics and the lore. (That was rare because my wife usually doesn't like video games.) I beat the main story. My wife cried at the end. So then I decided I wanted to go for 100% completion but when my wife saw I was about to start it again she got mad at me. Sadly I haven't played the game since. :'(
I know you probably won't do it but I'd be quite interested to hear what generally loved games you guys disliked. Everyone has those games that are, technically, good but that they just don't enjoy at all and I'd be interested to hear you guys talk about yours on a Tuesday Checklist, Friday Feature or even just Access Granted. Think it'd be a possibility?

Games I sucked at starting out?
Enter the Gungeon comes to mind. (never played bullet hells but I have played twin stick shooters and rogue likes and I think it's brilliant how enter the gungeon mixes all 3 together)
Also, I think the game is called Drift? I dont remember but it's a top down track racer where you complete tracks while drifting and scoring points or completing objectives in the middle of it. Bloody hard.
My mom used to punish me by taking our PC keyboard to work with her so I couldn't use the computer. Little did she know I knew how to open up the character map, click the keys and use copy and paste to search the internet.

My Girlfriend has called me numerous times during Dark Souls/Bloodborne boss battles... Obviously you can't pause it. What did I do? Like a gentleman I put my controller down to answer the phone in a calm voice and find out what was so important that I had to die.... again... I remember fighting Kalameet the dark dragon in Dark Souls 1 and I had been fighting him for about 30 minutes, chipping away at him. It was such a tense fight. My girlfriend came in from work and started talking to me and I just tried to block her out and keep my cool. While still looking like I was actually listening to her (GIT GUD). I got him down to 1% health, with no Estus left. I got greedy, panicked, and scrambled for that killing blow. YOU DIED. Not blaming my girlfriend for distracting me. But she definitely did. We are still together though (4 years). We are all cool about it.... Now.
I love that Dan mumbles "follow the fez" at one point, and later pretends he has no idea how the fez could be advantageous without batting an eye. Stone cold.

Gaming confession / squad goals. I have 1 Platinum trophy on my profile that rests in sea of silver and bronze from okami HD. I spent many hours seeing that God run around the painted world of Japan. Sadly it was because my wife didn't set up her own profile and played it on mine and earned it herself.

I love Playstation Access, but I'd really love to see some gameplay and impressions of Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. It's a big deal for an indie developer to create a 7-hour AAA-quality game, in this era of big publishers and mircotransactions, this game is important, just as it clearly important in terms of its subject matter, which is presented masterfully. The experience itself is incredible, trippy, intense immersion like nothing I've ever experienced in a game. A 420 game if ever there was one.
Please Access, show Ninja Theory some love - they deserve it.
Have you guys ever thought of a one vs all the onesies tournament? where the winner is the only access member who doesn't have to wear a onesie for a whole week, would make for some funny videos if everyone is in a onesie except for the champion... who of course wouldn't rub it in. The champ could even choose who gets to spend the week in THE onesie.
I'm genuinely worried about how stinky that onesie is.
