I'm a 66yr old widow married 43 yrs. When we were dating we saw Chicago live in the 1970,s. Chicago was his favorite band.I have all the original albums. It is nice to see a new generation appreciate their music.😊😊
✌❤❤❤❤💯!
Sweet memories 💖.
Thank you for sharing.
We are about same age. Melissa Ward here. Husband and I will be married 43 yrs, soon. Love Chicago also. I am so sorry about your loss.
Same aged male here. I still have their albums 1 through 17.
I am pretty sure I saw them at 12 Y/O (friends mom dropped us off!) near Erie, PA? Northeast, maybe? I can't recall exactly where it was .. Absolutely unbelievable concert. Anyone recall where they may have played? I'm 62 now., so it was 1972 I think ..
More horns with Blood, Sweat & Tears "Spinning Wheels" and "You've Made Me So Very Happy". Good stuff.
Yes! Also "And when I die" ☺
I second this. Also "I Can't Quit Her" from their first album when they had Al Kooper.
I second this!!
Oh, I agree with the Blood Sweat and Tears for sure!!! "And when I die"
I would add "Vehicle" by Ides of March. The horns are insane!
We are truly blessed to have lived in an era where there is so much talent on display. Early Chicago is unrivaled IMO. RIP Terry Kath. I’m pushing 60 and it’s heartwarming to see younger people get to experience and enjoy Chicago songs for the first time. Music is the closest thing we have to a time machine. Past present and future, it’s all there in the music if you are open to it.
Man, do Jay and Amber give life or what!!!
Yes for sure horns
Absolutely! Music are like markers in time! It’s like a point of reference for time for me..
Can't go wrong with Chicago. This is when musical groups consisted of actual talented singers & musicians❤️ 🎵🎷
Chicago had three main vocalist in the band:
The first one you listened to - 25 or 6 to 4 - Peter Cetera (the bassist) sang the lead vocal
The second one you heard - Make Me Smile - Terry Kath (the guitarist) sang the lead vocal
This one - Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is - Robert Lamm (the keyboard player )is singing the lead vocal.
I love the song "Dialogue parts 1 and 2" where Terry Kath and Peter Cetera trade the vocals back and forth in a conversation.
There's even one song I know of by them where Lee Loughnane (the trumpet player) sings the lead vocal - Song of the Evergreen.
you beat me to the punch
@Tom Mack, so much talent in this band!!
Thank you for the info!
3 main vocalists gives them great variety, like 3 Dog Night!! Robert Lamm
Great info. The era with Cetera on vocals and most of the songs of Chicago's Greatest Hits 82-89 are their best collection IMHO. Cetera's voice is completely unique unto itself. Hard to Say I'm Sorry, Look Away, Love Me Tomorrow, You're the Inspiration, etc... that album is amazing.
The channel should dive into some solo Cetera as well: Glory of Love from Karate Kid II, The Next Time I Fall (duet with Amy Grant), After All (Duet with Cher).
"Beginnings" and "Feelin' Stronger Every Day" really showcase all the things that make Chicago an all time great band
Add in Terry Kath and I’m a man, Peter Cetera and Old Days and you’re there
Those are two of my faves by Chicago. I will be happy when RSR reacts to these songs.
Agreed. Maybe add in Colour My World with those to songs, to express the very best of their softer side.
Saturday in the Park is another amazing one!
@@amyhon2000 Can't argue with that.
Beginnings is a definite MUST! Album version. You won't be disappointed and it'll be a permanent fixture on your playlist.
yeah, the full version with that extra outro of them just jamming is priceless
so true
The most beautiful, shortest song I ever heard from them or anyone is “Color my World”🔥🔥🔥
Aww that was the last song at every sock hop we had in junior high in the 70's.
Check out their "Happy Man" 😀
I love Color My World too!
it's incredible how just a couple of lines that song have can say so much, and that flute
One of my favorites by Chicago!
"Feelin' Stronger Every Day" is your next Chicago song; Blood Sweat & Tears is a definite horn-heavy band.
Feelin' Stronger Every Day is actually my favorite by Chicago! I agree with that being next.
Yes! Blood Sweat & Tears and also you need to listen to The Ides of March - Vehicle, you will love it, I promise!!
Spinning Wheel & And when I die
Feelin stronger everyday is my second favorite Chicago song (second to 25 or 6 to 4)
Who doesn't dig Chicago.Sadly the awesome guitarist Terry Kath recently passed away
Can’t ever go wrong with early Chicago ... With the three lead singers .. Pure Magic ..
Yes, I wore out their first two albums.
Yep, early Chicago is one of the favorite sounds of any band, at any time. What a joy to have been able to listen to them on the radio of my childhood! Such great road trip music!
But, it would be good for them to know that after the first albums, that sound loaded with wind instruments began to disappear. They still had good songs, perhaps the most popular ones, like If You Leave Me Now, but for my taste it became a group of pop songs, generally ballads and soft rock tunes, very different from the music of its origins.
Chicago just wasn’t the same without Terry Kath RIP.. Turned into a more pop driven Peter Cetera band ..
@@xtrmfc Yeah and them Peter Cetera left, Great voice
Smile from ear to ear watching Amber enjoying the horns !!!!
Chicago's sound was unmistakable and incomparable. So very much talent in one band.
You two have to be the happiest couple I’ve ever seen. You two have such chemistry laughs and happiness it’s great to see. One of the reasons I subscribed a while back. Love your channel. 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Agreed! They're so sweet together. A beautiful family!
@@dreamweaver8913 👍🏼👍🏼
I agree and they are just adorable!!
Agree 100%. I look forward to their videos everyday. They always fulfill the goal of making someone smile everyday because they always make me smile
Aren't they siblings
Suggested CHICAGO cuts are: "Saturday In The Park", "Question 67 & 68 ", "Beginnings", "Old Days", "Dialogue", "Feelin' Stronger Everyday". "What's This World Coming To".
This was your 3rd Chicago Transit Authority song reaction and by chance or design each featured a different lead singer. I just love Chicago, especially their early stuff with Terry Kath. This one was written and sung by keyboard player Robert Lamm. Everyone in the band are great musicians. BTW, Make Me Smile was written/composed by Trombone player James Pankow and was actually part of a longer piece called "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" , Sung by the late great Terry Kath. 25 or 6 to 4 had Peter Cetera on lead vocal. Great reaction you two, Thanks!
As a kid of the 70's, Chicago is the band that made me want to be a musician. Been playing saxophone ever since, and Amber good to hear you're learning to play a sax. You got this! 😎
SAME. I am a drummer because of Chicago in the 70s!!!!!!
Written and sung by Robert Lamm, this is from their 1969 debut record.
Chicago is the Best! Check out
" Colour My World "
" Make Me Smile "
" Feeling Stronger Everyday "
" Saturday In The Park "
There are many voices to Chicago.
Peter Cetera
Terry Kath
Robert Lamm who is singing this one.
Denise, they did Make Me Smile on August 14, so you don't have to wait, just go to the search box.
@@meijer102 thanks, I knew that they have reacted to 25 or 6 to 4. I thought that was the only one.
Dont forget Beginnings or Dialogue parts 1 and 2. Color my world is the song that every one played on the piano.....or tried to
@@jacklewis5452 yes!
No one seems to remember my favorite.. the funky “Lowdown”! ....”sigh”
The first 3 songs from Chicago you chose to listen to featured 3 different lead singers. Those voices combined with the glorious horns, killer rhythm section, stellar keys and Kath on guitar and you have one of THE finest bands of all-time.
I am an active musician 70 years old, and Chicago is my favorite group, second only to the Beatles. Now Leonid and Friends are carrying on the Chicago legacy. You guys are great! Thank you!
Try “Saturday in the Park” or “Feelin’ Stronger Everyday.” “If You Leave Me Now” was also a big ballad hit for them although there may not be as many horns on that track.
Oh yeahhhh If You Leave Me Now is a must!
Saturday in the park is a must!!!
The whole LP is a must, it couldn’t be better…
@@tomsdotter3228 I guarantee Amber will love "If You Leave Me Now". The horns are not prominent in that song, but it does have the strings section, which adds a lot to the song!
BEST concert I've ever been to in my life!! One of the Best bands Ever!!!
Chicago is always about the horns.
Have you heard Chicago's Saturday in the Park, it's a great song.
Chicago has the whole package - vocals, instruments, lyrics. A musical concerto!!!!!
“Listen” or “Question 67 and 68” will give a good dose of both the amazing horn section and Terry Kath’s guitar
A solid horns experience is waiting for you to discover it. It's the flugelhorn, and it is played masterfully by Chuck Mangione. Check out the full length version of "Feels So Good" (it's around 9 minutes long)
I wore that entire album OUT as a kid. The album is also called Feels So Good.
“Feels So Good” is the epitome of a summer song for me. I remember sitting outside soaking in the summer sun, and that song was blaring out of the open window from the stereo inside my brother’s room.
It seems incomplete to hear the shorter versions.
it's sad that we no longer have musicians like Chuck ... Chicago ... Stevie Wonder ... Herb Albert ... there are others who were so good and never really got the credit they deserved. At one point Chicago, Stevie and Chuck were just melting ears everywhere with their smooth and amazing sound
@@williamthomas7509 in some houses, they still are! 😃
I remember Chuck Mangione playing at my high school. Pure magic
Robert Lamm sang lead on this one. He, Terry Kath, and Peter Cetera all sang lead over their catalogue.
As an aside, they had to change their name from Chicago Transit Authority because the actual transit authority in Chicago got flooded with calls from fans. So they just became Chicago.
Have a great day!
So glad to see a younger generation appreciating the fine music of my generation! A time of such chaos......war in Vietnam, the draft, violent protest in the streets, the Watergate scandal, social upheaval in every corner........all played out to music that has stood the test of time. Ya just hadda be there!
It's so cool to see you and your wife enjoy vintage songs in this day and age, keep on keep on you two..
Chicago live at Tanglewood, Terry Kath will stun you with his performance.
Kath was the soul of Chicago.
Yes! That's what I requested. I think they'll love it.
Great suggestion!! Their Tanglewood concert is stellar, and Terry is unbelievable
My CHICAGO suggestion would b SATURDAY IN THE PARK!👍❣️
If I could like this 10x, I would. Loved Chicago forever and their horns are LEGIT! The singer, Robert Lamm, was my crush in the '70s and these guys are still touring!!
Still a crush for me. Still handsome!
Me Too !!
Chicago, and Earth, wind, and Fire were in concert together! Talk about Horns!
I saw Chicago in the late 90s. They were amazing! So many hits. They opened for Crosby, Stills and Nash. For amazing harmonies you need to listen to CSN. Suite Judy Blue eyes is a good start.✌❤
They are great in concert, saw them both in the early 70s.
Blood, Sweat and Tears!
Horns, horns, horns!!!
"God Bless the Child" is amazing by them...
“Introduction” is a must listen. That song may very well be the single best introduction to a band I’ve ever heard. Every aspect of the band is highlighted… The versatility, the musicianship, just everything… It deserves a listen.
First album, first side, song one...very cool
I agree. My fave.
I love the Chicago song “dialogue”
... and the congregation all said "Amen"!
I just said the same exact thing without scrolling to your post! Agree!
Remember when you a kid out of school on Summer vacation, and you were outside playing the whole day, a day that only had two times; sunrise and sunset? That's the feeling and the philosophy this song invokes for me.
Chicago has an entire horn section as part of the band. Their lead guitarist "Terry Kath" is one of the best to ever play guitar. 25 or 6 to 4 showcases Terry`s abilities, RIP Terry!
Chicago’s been around so long that their music is a spectrum. One band with so many sounds that when you say “I love Chicago” ya kinda have to be more specific to give people a sense of your music tastes.
Exactly yes 80s Chicago is way different then 70s.
Yep. I definitely prefer their 70s. And live at Tanglewood.
Earth Wind and Fire is another horn heavy song. Saw them and Chicago together in concert. Most awesome part was when both groups shared the stage together to play. AMAZING
”Beginnings“ is a must.
Colour My World is an awesome song by Chicago I used to play the flute and this song was one of my favorite songs to play. Been to many of their concerts and the never fail to pull you in and make you happy just to be there. The whole band is so instrumental and talented.
And for an incredible jamming Chicago song without horns - I’m a Man (also from CTA) There’s a good reason this first album is in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
I've had the good luck to see them in concert 4 times. Once with Earth, Wind and Fire, and their horn section joined in on this and other songs. It was amazing!
My favorite band and no, they NEVER disappoint. There are different lead singers but the vocals do sit out on this one.
I love Chicago, had all their albums!! Another band you should check out is Blood, Sweat and Tears, Spinning Wheel!! Fantastic reactions guys!! 💓😊🤘✌️🎷🎺🎧 WE APPRECIATE YOU TWO!!!
Listen to Chicago's "Feeling Stronger Every Day" with lyrics. I was a victim of domestic violence, and at the very end of the song, they change up the lyrics to say: "The best thing to happen to you, is the worst thing that happened to me." When I arrived at the Women's Shelter, the first thing I saw was a poster that said "He hit her 99 times, she only got flowers once." Then you see flowers on top of a coffin. WOKE ME UP! I was too good to be put through what I thought I had to endure. The last time, I had a concussion for three months. Complete freedom for 5 years now ~ and feelin' stronger every day."
So sad that happened to you..Had alot of crappy abuse years ago. Music can be a Great Therapy and good friends. Stay strong for you.
@@barbaramarkland7441 Thanks Barbara, not scared anymore...finally got strong, and took action. That was one of the first songs I heard when I got home from the shelter :)
Keyboardist Robert Lamm is the lead singer on this one. Terry Kath and Peter Cetera are Chicago's other lead singers. You should check out "Wishing You Were Here" a great ballad which includes The Beach Boys providing backup vocals!
From the late 60’s to the late 80’s, Chicago was literally the soundtrack of people’s lives through good times , bad times and just everyday working and living, their music was always being played somewhere. Brings back so many memories of my childhood and teen years especially. Amazing to think about so many great artists like Chicago who made so much great music that defined the decade!
Three different lead singers. You heard bassist Peter Cetera sing on 25 or 6 to 4 and soulful Terry Kath (lead guitar) on Make Me Smile. This is Keyboardist and one of the principal writers Robert Lamm. Probably the best horn song from Chicago is Beginnings - from this same album. Make sure to play the full version - not the radio edit. Also Saturday in the Park is a classic. For a harder edge of their music try Poem 58 from this album or Free from Chicago III. Lowdown from Chicago III is also a great showcase. And while you are playing the CTA album start at the very beginning - their first song is called Introduction and showcases just about everyone in the band.
U2 have spread your musical wings… It’s refreshing to watch and listen to. Your appreciation comes through every single time, and I know I can relate I’m sure everybody else can…
I haven't seen any comments about anyone recommending listening to a fabulous cover band called Leonid and friends. They are absolutely phenomenal. Mostly Chicago covers, but 98%accurate. Really need to have a listen. Definitely won't be disappointed
Yes! Best Chicago cover band I ever heard. It's also a joy to watch them perform in their studio setting because you get closeups of their playing techniques.
Nope, Not For Me!!
I love to see the expression on young people's faces today when they experience some of the incredible music from the 70's
You want horns, listen to Chuck Mangione "Feels so Good" or Herb Alpert " Spanish Flew" You won't be disappointed.
Just listened to Chuck this weekend, "Hill Where the Lord Hides" and "Children of Sanchez." Bringing many memories back to the early days of my life...as a horn player. Also, if I listen to Chuck, I always listen to Maynard.
@@davideberhart9523 Mangione was a great player and writer. My only problem with him is he often played sharp on the Flugelhorn and did not adjust while playing to get it in tune, although something not easy to do on those damned Flugelhorns, lol, it can be done. Yes I was a player and music student in college
For a different feel from them, I suggest "Wishin 'You Were Here" and "I've Been Searching".
Chuck Mangione had a huge hit with "Feel So Good", if you want horns and no words.
Chuck Mangione and the Flugelhorn! I was talking high school music playing saxophone!
The songs "Introduction" and "I'm a Man" off of the same album are a must listen to. Introduction is an amazing opening song that takes you on a musical journey from beginning to end. I'm a Man has an awesome extended percussion solo.
YES!!!! More Chicago!!!! (I'm the annoying guy who always ends my comments on your videos with "Oh, and more Chicago!!!") Your reaction to "25 or 6 to 4" was when I first discovered you two delightful people, and I was so happy that you discovered my favorite band in the history of EVER! Please treat yourself to "Questions 67 & 68." It's another "feel good" Chicago tune with a fast-paced middle section that will give you much more of those phenomenal horns. THANK YOU!! 😁
just watching your live stream. I was at the grocery. You just unwrapped something that said VINCE GILL. He's a really big country star. Before that he was in Pure Prairie League. The song Amie is a huge hit. Still know every word. I was lucky enough to see Chicago in concert twice in the early 70's. Love it.
How have you missed Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass "A Taste of Honey" all this time though? Or any of Al Hirt's classics including the themes from "Get Smart" and "The Green Hornet" for that matter?
Herb Albert did a song with Janet Jackson called "Diamonds" in 1987 too. My Mom and Dad used to listen to Herb Albert and the Tijuana Bass when I was a kid, love his work!
A Taste of Honey singing "Boogie Oggie Oogie" is a total Vibe ! :)
@@tjguy98 I have all of Herb Alpert and TTB and several Al Hirt all on vinyl. Love that sound. One word for Chicago "Tanglewood". has to be the best live album ever.
You're joking mate.
Ah, .... The Lonely Bull is probably my all-time favourite Herb Alpert tune. Thank you for the comment. I'm off to listen to it. :)
Chicago has a fantastic Holiday album (Chicago XXV: The Christmas Album) you should check out for the coming season!! Especially "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!" it is a Banger and has plenty of horns. Also their song "Saturday in the Park".
The first concert I ever saw was Chicago at the height of their career in the 70s and they become my favourite band. I'm a sucker for horns and played trumpet in high school so I also became a fan of other bands like Chase, Blood Sweat And Tears, Tower Of Power, and Earth Wind And Fire. Chicago though is still my most favourite band of all time. ❤
I'm the first one yipee. Chicago is wonderful
"Saturday in the park" "Feeling stronger everyday" "Just you and me" "Wishing you were here" "Call on me"
Guys, in 25 or 6 to 4, the vocalist was Peter Cetera. In this one, it's Robert Lamm. That's why they sound different.
Chicago was so ahead of other bands of the era. The layers and layers of sound, from horns to the spectacular backup vocals are like a wave coming over you when you listen. Thanks for this one❤️
I can't imagine why anybody would care about time. We've all got time enough to cry. This one was so much fun with you two! I actually could feel your gratitude and joy. This is one of those songs I have to sing along.
And in the end "we've all got time enough to die".
Great pick and reaction!
Three songs so far with three separate vocalists. What a talented band!!
Note this song was sung by Pianist Robert Lamm the third voice of Chicago along with Pete Cetera and Terry Kath. They had so much style and could change in a second! Jazz/Rock was born.
'Color My World' - a beautiful song and who knows how many couples danced their first dance to it. Doesn't have any horns but it is major piano. It's very short, might want to do 2 at once.
I agree, beautiful song. And while it is a simple piano ballad I recall some type of horn playing a lead melody after the vocals.
There are horns (or a horn) in this song. It is a flute - which I guess is technically a woodwind.
Blood,Sweat, & Tears, was the template for Chicago Transit Authority, a.k.a. "Chicago" If you havent checkd out those guys yet, you should.
This is the third lead vocalist, Robert Lamm.
"Knowing what time it is" is a slang expression meaning knowing and understanding what's really going on.
I have always felt that their first album " Chicago Transit Authority" is their best all around.
My guitar teacher used to praise Terry Kath as one of the best in business.
Love your reactions.
If you’ve not reacted to Blood, Sweat & Tears, they are a must. Their horns are even better than Chicago. Both were recording and hitting the top of the charts at the same time. I had all the albums of both bands. BS&T was my favorite. Spinning Wheel was a big hit, but listen to Lucretia McEvil for an incredible music experience.
I’ve been telling them! Blood Sweat and Tears! HORNS!!!
Got to see bs&t on tour in australia in the 80s incredible show
And don't forget Lighthouse.
@@KimSimful Me too ! I am patient with my young squires they will get there but we can't wait see it !
i especially loved hi de ho and god bless the child from bst.
This is my favorite Chicago tune! And it’s for that exact reason you noted, Amber. This song makes you HAPPY. Great choice!
This is exactly why I still listen to this, a great horn section.
I remember well when this song was released and got a lot of radio airplay. It became a bit of a running joke whenever without thinking someone asked "Does anyone know what time it is?", some smart aleck would answer "Does anyone REALLY know what time it is? Does anyone care?"
If you want max Chicago horn section, start to finish, and if you haven't done so already, listen to "Question 67 and 68". It was from the first album in '69 when they still called themselves the Chicago Transit Authority, and it was their first ever single release. James Pankow (trombone), who did much of their horn arrangements, said he learned a valuable lesson with the horn arrangement on that one. He said he realized that in the future, they (the horns) really didn't have to work as hard in concerts as they did whenever they played Questions. The horns could just come in and out, they really didn't have to play from start to finish as they did in Questions. Btw, the title of that song is a little opaque, but it apparently refers to all of the questions the writer of the song had in his mind about his relationship with a girl during the two years ('67 and '68) previous to when the song was written.
There's a "one hit wonder" group with great horns you may like from the early 70's called Chase, named after the lead trumpet player, Bill Chase. The song is "Get It On". They played my high school about 1972 and he died in a plane crash a year or so later.
I always include them in the discussion despite the brevity of their existence due to Chase's tragic death. I figure, if their output had been of the quality and attack of "Get It On", they would have ruled, also.
Little One is a must listen by Chicago. It’s not a highly requested song but definitely worth a listen. A beautiful musicians song to his child and if you know the full story will bring a tears to your eyes.
Just a reminder for new listeners, the original band (first 10 years) featured three lead singers including Robert Lamm on this one. Peter Cetera's voice is more of a classic tenor and was featured on Old Days, Feeling Stronger, Questions 67 & 68 and 25 or 6 to 4. Terry Kath's voice covered the low register (Make Me Smile) and his was extremely soulful. Few bands had three great singers plus three HOF song writers.
I was introduced to Chicago when my Brother returned home from Vietnam! This was the first song I heard, and I fell in love with the Horns, the Harmony, and the presentation! What is time really?
Blood, Sweat, and Tears. "Go Down Gamblin'". Lots of horns and the incredible voice of David Clayton Thomas. You won't be disappointed.
That's a GREAT song. Lucretia McEvil is my other fave.
@@celestemartinez3560 I like that one too. "Lisa Listen to Me" and "When I Die" are other favorites. They also do a great version of the Beatles' "Got to Get You Into My Life". Everyone thinks of the hits like "Spinning Wheels" and "You Made Me So Very Happy". But I prefer the more up tempo stuff.
I do, as well. The same for Chicago/CTA. The ballad era left me cold (bored).
@@celestemartinez3560 "More and More" is another good one.
Chicago had 3 vocalists - Robert Lamb (this is him), Make Me Smile - Terry Kath, 25 or 6 to 4 - Peter Cetera. Try Beginnings - Robert Lamb sings on that also.
Another song that I have the privilege of playing with my local jazz band, THIS song is the best fusion of jazz big band and rock and roll you can find!
One of my favorite of Chicago one of all time great bands horns for days luv this😅❤
Blood Sweat and Tears is a must if you love horns!❤
South California Purples by Chicago is a must.
This was their 1st album before they shortened their name to just Chicago. Imagine hearing this on the radio the 1st time!!! Same reaction as Rob & Amber. Smiles and a happy step in your walk.
Pick a rainy day, get comfortable and just listen to Chicago non stop! Greatest day ever, every time!
Searching For So Long is my favorite Chicago song. Insane vocals and horns, soulful as it gets.
You wanna see how Chicago started out? Try the first song on their first album... Introduction.
Chicago had 3 lead singers. Robert Lamm, who is singing this song. Peter Cetera sang on most of their hits and Terry Kath who sadly died in the middle of their active years. Lamm played keyboards, Cetera played bass and Kath was an amazing lead guitarist.
I LOVE the mumbling banter that the singer does beginning at 5:00 in the background, behind the background singers. It actually explains what he means with the title of this song
Luv these two ! Besides the people in my life they always make me smile. They ARE music lovers..... glad I found them awhile back. They never disappoint. 🙂😊🤗👍
Definitely “Feeling stronger every day” is a great one!
this reminds me of great times with my late husband - still makes me feel happy that others enjoy it too
That song was a radio staple when it came out. Now those striding horns link me to a time when people were more confident about the future.
You have to do "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood, Sweat and Tears. Justvas much horns as Chicago and unforgettable lead vocal by David Clayton Thomas. Trust me you will love it,
I totally agree with you!
Awesome band!!!!🤘🔥
Oh Daddy. I love you. This band is in my blood because of my dad! What a gift.
Keyboardist Robert Lamm wrote and sang this song on their debut album. He then wrote “25 or 6 to 4” for their second album as sort of an “answer” to this song’s question, “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” The answer then was 3:35 or 3:34 a.m. (ie 25 or 26 before 4:00 am). They decided to have Peter sing that one.
