I watched this again! Can't wait till my hair gets longer!!
What a beautiful hair 'do'. Though have a 'flat' back of the head, hope with a bit of teasing in the back, then gently comb over it...can attempt to fix a similar up-do. For forever, have wondered how ladies got their hair up like this, and other similar styles. So appreciate not only the demonstration, but also, your explanation. You make what once was 'foreign' to me, understandable, and have always thought this updo so distinctive, elegant and almost ethereal. Gretchen Belken
You are so good with your videos, just what I have been looking for with my fine grey hair
This reminds me of the classic muse in paintings...timeless.
Thanks - I agree, it is a timeless, classic style.
looks so pretty on you Sharon!!
Absolutely beautiful! A great alternative to a pony tail. ♥
Thanks - its kind of a classic too. I'll be making a couple more with slightly different approaches and end result looks too.
Watching in 2021 Thank You cheers from Pennsylvania 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wonderful. Thank you
Looks lovely! I have long hair and it gets so hot in the summer..think I'll try this! But you make it look easy. LOL!
Oh good Gwen Wiedner - with a little practice you'll grow to use this as a go to for festive or just fun. So glad you like.
love your hair!!
Love it!
I just love that look, and you made it easy to do , I am going to do this, I do also think it looks so cheek....❤️🌹❤️🌹
absolutely beautiful
TY vicky.
Oh, neat! I love it! I have hair much like yours so this will work great for me. Thank you! :) fun do!
Love it
TY
That is totally amazing. I get hot with hair down at work. Can't wait to try.
Great - I'm sure you'll love it.

Very elegant.....wish my hair was a bit longer !
Thank you but I use to wear my much shorter hair just like this too. And think about it, its a great grow in hairstyle. The hair only has to turn up enough to just tuck and pin.
I like your style.
Thank you so much
Sharon I love it so much. Can't wait til my hair is just a little bit longer ... I'm in your facebook group going gray and my hair is now getting shoulder length and I'm 11 months in ditching dye. Can't wait til it's as long as yours to do this. Love the Downton Abbey look and have learned so much from you. Thankyou! I need to find one of those hair rolls and the pins too.
Thank you and congratulations for keeping on your path. Shoulder length hair is certainly long enough to create this do. I would suggest one of the purchased styling rats (first example) to work with. I've been doing this do for years and I just adjust my approach according to my hair length.
Hey Sharon........styling rat, love that name ! Absolutely love this hair style, such a old fashioned look, very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing, wishing you a great week-end :)
TY and you as well Hunnie
:)
. I've always wondered how to do this properly. Thank you.
YW - good luck and enjoy it.
Love your Victory Roll! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm always learning so much from all that you share :)

Thanks - you're very welcome.
This is great Sharon. So simple! Could you tell me where you get your hair fillers? It's a bit hard to find the grey/ white blends :)
Thank you. The dollar store at Halloween or any wig supply store. Or just use a hair scrunchie. I do that all the time too.
Sharon, can you do a video on how you make one of those?
Wait, I think I found one of your old videos that kind of explains how you make it....so thank you!
Great - its pretty simple.
Very classy lady
Thank you Luther Brookside.
Where can I buy hair nets?
At your local drug store Karen Lilley, or Sally's, or at Amazon.
Forgot to say = my Grandma did here hair just like this, but I never saw her use a roll thingie ...just pins !
