    Sharon, again, I thank you! "Look your best, feel your best!" is something I need to pin over my makeup mirror, to remind me, every morning! I sincerely love all your tips, and the list of products you use, available below the video. I have looked up and consequently purchased many of the products you have used, which ultimately saves me money, because I could buy several "cheaper" alternatives, only to be disappointed, whereas if I buy what you use and recommend, I only have to buy once, and I know it will work, because I have seen that it does work.

    Really appreciate someone--you!--who is in my age range and styling long, grey hair! I'm almost 70, but hair is greying very slowly, but am keeping it long and still having fun trying new styles as the colored hair grows out through all its phases. I'm about the only one i know who is doing this, but get occasional compliments on my do's even from strangers. I think it looks very interesting with all the color shades which show in different areas through the twists, braids, etc. Hair is still thick enough, even with fine texture, to get by without extensions (don't need to spend the extra time and money on them now), but am paying attention to tips involving them in case I want to try them later. Love your glorious grey hair styles and the way you demo the how-to's. You look fabulous! Almost wish my hair would grey up a little faster! (I have one wide grey/white streak on top which shows with side part) Once the hair color has grown out, I'll be looking to see how to enhance the grey-to- white there is, along with the considerable medium dark brown remaining. That's a BIG question mark!

    Thanks for showing us how to do this, Sharon. :D Looks like something I might be able to do. :D I'm trying to decide if I should cut my hair for the summer or just put it up in pony tails, buns and other up dos so this is very helpful. Thanks! xoxoJanet

      Glad its helpful Janet H. And do try a few styles and take pics of the ones you like for reminder references. You can always cut after if you still want. And just a little aside, I've had both long and short hair, and long hair by a long shot is cooler when worn up that short hair.

    I have 2 cowlicks back there, one on one side, one across from the other! UGH, lol. Thanks for showing how to deal with it! Very pretty hairstyle, and, like it is said, ''You always want what you don't have'', curly or wavy hair! Yours is beautiful! Thumbs up! xo

    Really, I need you, Sharon, to be my BFF just for about a couple of weeks. ♥ ****Especially choosing makeup and hair styles....OH GIRL I am so challenged, even with all your wonderful and very clear instructive tutorials. We could go shopping together and *I'd have so much fun!!!* not too selfish eh? ** You are so beautiful and I have gained so much knowledge!! Now to put it to use and practice X 1000. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! Blessings to you Sweetie! ♥

      TY so much Carol - once you have your shopping done (there really isn't much to do) then you can get at the practicing - AND it can be fun too.

    What if I have straight hair? What should I do to make these work?

    • @twominutetips
      @twominutetips  7 лет назад

      Julie Satterfield you can do it with straight hair too and bending the ends under with a curling iron, flat iron or rollers will give it a nice finis on the ends.

    • @juliesatterfield7004
      @juliesatterfield7004 7 лет назад

      twominutetips thank you. Do you think alot of the styles can be done without hair exrensions? Also, is diffusing a mild form of blow drying? I think pin curls are so pretty. I need to make time to practice!

    • @twominutetips
      @twominutetips  7 лет назад

      Yes Julie - I use extensions a lot - both straight and wavy ones. And diffusing is a mild form of blow drying for curly or wavy hair. And yes pin curls are an ancient form of curling hair and there are lots of "hacks" these days, but to me they remain a classic and product great results.

    • @juliesatterfield7004
      @juliesatterfield7004 7 лет назад

      twominutetips I think your curls are so pretty. I'll have to make mine since my hair is so straight!

    • @twominutetips
      @twominutetips  7 лет назад +1

      Julie - my hair was always straight till after I embraced the gray. Now I can enjoy it either way. Pin curls or rollers with slightly damp hair overnight will give you a wavy or curly look for your hair. Check some of my other videos on this.

      Not sure I understand your question. I just fold the hair up, pin, let it drop, tuck the ends in a pin in place. Does that help?

    In this video you had claw clips in your hair. In the beginning...., it might be just for volume.:)

    • @twominutetips
      @twominutetips  7 лет назад

      Yes bambina christina - for both volume AND lift. I leave them in for about 15 minutes while I do my makeup.
