- Check out the progress on Pete’s Hemi Dart build! This 1968 Dodge Dart build is inspired by the legendary Mopar powered 426 hemi LO23 darts the dodge built in 68. This Hemi dart build has a few upgrades over the originals including its Keith Black 528 Hemi power plant! Check out the build and come for a rod test!

I like black wrinkle on the valve covers, but it really grabs and holds dust and grime. Chrome you just wipe it off and it's beautiful again.

Looks just like the 426 Hemi from my 70 Challenger R/T...mine had just two separate non OEM smaller air filters to show off the dual carbs...cool 😎 Dart...got to love that 6 speed...
Very cool! I like the original paint. I have a 68 Dart, and I very much want to install the A body Rallye Dash Cluster like this one. I'm also building a big inch Gen II Hemi with Edelbrock heads, but it's going into a different Mopar. Love the content!

Nice. My 408 in the 68 Barracuda notchie will drink 3/4's of a tank of gas in a 110 mile round trip to work and back. I can imagine how much that one drinks...VERY NICE.

I like it he has quiet Mufflers on it, and you should look for the trunk panel for your Dart his car has the small one my GTS had one that covered the whole back edge of the trunk especially since yours is a GTS clone
I have the full cover piece. I took it off I like the clean look of no cover
My Dad bought a 69 GTS brandnew with the 340 and it was a fun car .this must be crazy quick .

to each its own taste, i would have picked powder coated Black valve covers with Orange engine.

There is a '67 Barracuda on RacingJunk with a Barton 528" HEMI listed at $35k. Not exactly cheap, but among the least expensive I've seen for a turnkey street/strip HEMI A-body.

I researched the build video , only thing I heard was 275-60-15 tires on the rear. I could see the rear wheels are what we call cop wheels , and the only factory size was 15 x 7 , which is too narrow for that tire.
Just because you can do something , doesn't make it right.
I never got a good look at the front tires or wheels. I was just asking if you knew , no big deal...
