That's awesome man, I love mine too haha! I've had probably a hundred bikes I owned over the years I swore I'd never sell but THIS is the one i'll 100% keep forever! I might do some super fancy parts down the road but something about the flight deck computer working as good as the Ultegra groupset does, it makes me not wanna bother haha.

The bar ends, saddle, and captain america accent is spot on. Very nice bike to see from the past. Well done.

I have actually since added some flat-top carbon bars. a nicer stem, some gel pads on the bars for comfort and I got some serfas stars & stripes bartape I need to add too! Thanks for the comment and please take a moment to subscribe, thanks for the support!

Back when cyclists were men and the sport was on the map in the u.s. Great time in history.

Always cool to look back at wild times like this! It's crazy to think they were the guinea pigs of cycling evolution too lol, like the Spinergy wheels exploding on the pro's! Titanium bikes were as stiff as wet noodles at this time too haha. Bit scary to be a human tester at a pro level!

I have a 2000 R1000 in this paint scheme, but it did actually come with the matching blue/black Sella Italia saddle. My only change is a carbon fiber Campy seat post, which matches the Coda Slice fork. Picture-perfect seating/crank position.
Frankly, this frame is as fast as the rider; the past 23 years of design = shelling out thousands of dollars for imperceptible advantage, unless you're Tour de France-level trained.
One thing I will say is that the original gearing is t-a-l-l. Climbing from the Rio Grande up Tramway Blvd to the base of the Sandias requires out-of-the saddle ~ 50% of the time or more.

Thanks for the comment and please take a moment to subscribe for more content! If yours is the carbon shell like mine was that is actually worth a ton of money on ebay lol look it up! That is awesome to hear about yours, congrats the stars n' stripes livery is pretty rare now-a-days! It's a super capable bike that easily stands up time though, that is no doubt! I agree about the cassette, it was the first thing I did haha. I currently running a 52T/38T chainring setup with an 11-30T cassette as it's very hilly in some spots around me, but an 11T-28T would work for sure too.

One of my Dream frames (with that saeco machine da caffè colors ) ! That one is in really good condition, so nice to see ! 😍
Always wondered if these could fit some 28mm tires. Having the confirmation here in your video makes me want to get this frame even more lol

Guy has this frame on offer up. Dirt cheap. But he won't respond to my messages. Enough to make you wanna off the internet. But anyways yes this frame can fit a 28mm tire. Actually looks like 28's in the video.

Roadraging, I cover this in the video which is why Kami is saying "having this confirmation" as I confirmed his thoughts. Some 28c tires will not fit, but I do have 28c tires on it in the video.
