Right now there is only $100 difference between G85 and G95 and with lens it is still under $1000, so this makes it clear that the G95 would be the best choice, unless someone already owns a G85. M43 with a small lens that has 5x zoom from 12-60mm equal to 24-120mm in FF. Good value even today, and good video stabilization. Its only small flaw is, it is not as fast in autofocus compared to other 3 main brands, but certainly fast enough considering the value you get for the price. Its main competitors would be Canon m50ii, Nikon z30, and Canon R10 and Fuji apsc. However, just add LED lights for indoor to keep ISO down.
Just need to know 1. how to just turn it on and shoot in auto mode? 2. How do I shoot a PANO picture? How do I look at what I just took a picture of? TY in advance
I just purchased my G95 and I'm trying to use the flash. There's not much info in the manual on how to turn the flash on. Does anyone have step by step to activate the flash? Thank you!
Make sure that the mechanical shutter is switched to use the flash it won’t work in electronic shutter - mechanical shutter for photography will lower the noise as well
The G95 is a forgettable camera. This was a chance missed to continue the success story of the G series. I see no compelling reason to upgrade from the G85 to the G95 at all. The G95 would have to cost a lot less than 1000.00 to become an interesting option for anyone.
That is BULL $HIT, the g85 is a forgettable camera with its terrible auto focus, its 30 minute limit recording time, no mic jack, no headphone jack, and don't get me started on that lousy 16mp, LMAO, please. G95: 20.3 mp, Headphone Jack, External Mic Jack, UNLIMITED RECORDING! V-LOG INSTALLED, quick and snappy Auto Focus, CHILD PLEASE.
@@thewalkingvloggingman7152 G85 has no record limit and has a mic jack. Why pay 300 extra for a headphone jack? 😄 You a fool for trying to monitor audio with the internal mic lol Get an external mic and monitor off the recorder like everyone else.
Much of the G95's initial bad rep, IMHO, came from Panasonic overpricing it. Some time ago, I purchased G95 refurbished at a good discount & have been satisfied. The G95 is an evolutionary upgrade over the G85--better sensor & AF algorithms--and should have been priced accordingly.
I have the g95 and I have actually 0 problems with the autofocus. Its fast and responsive for me. Crop is not a big deal, just get a wider lens, like I did and its perfect!
Kai Zen: Who needs 4k? Its VERY overrated for youtube production and most people will not be able to tell the difference between 4k and 1080p. Lenses for full frame are MUCH larger and heavy and EXPENSIVE. Panasonics IBIS is best in class and offers best colors/video -especially the GH5/G9. Also their app is great for controlling the camera.
The G85 is a pretty compelling vlogging camera.. It would have been nice to see more of a clear comparison between the two like the name suggested.
Waiting for the full review comparison as I am very confused which one to go g85m Or G95m. And i am keen to know more about on 4k cropped.
Your English is fine.. you actually speak better English than most Americans from Alabama..
Lol hahahahahaha :D
You do have C3 and even C4. Just press the button in the touch screen.

I have a G95 and the horizon guide line isn't level. Do you know how to recalibrate it? Thanks!

@@ProductionTime5593 your most welcome
can i use my canon 24/105 lense on this camera?
With a speed booster for micro 4/3s I believe you can
Good Video !
No one uses this camera for photography anymore... every review you find on youtube must be about the video part and not about photography stills..
👍👍👍👍

Agree! You can get a g9 body for the same price and that’s a super professional camera, for 300$ more you can get the gh5!

G95 4k video autofocus & crop is a joke in 2020, body is too big & ugly, full-frame Canon R and Nikon Z is almost the same size ....
But the Canon R is overall very expensive in comparison to the Lumix

Depends what your needs are.
Exactly. Just get what you need it for. No need to complain 😂
